Previously she lived with her grandfather and uncle in a lower-middle-class household, where the men worked as bookkeepers.

However marriage presented her with opportunities to expand her wardrobe as she married up. But she left most of the choices to others, the only thing she wanted were the puffy sleeves that she loved.

Poor Thistle came down with swamp mouth! Luckily, our Dad was able to pay for it. But since even he didn't have much money, Thistle still ended up in the cone of shame.

good morning! my long & terrible work week is finally finished and i'm going to be fixing up my navigation to include tjolc and try to finish up my character pages for both of my stories!

also, as stated, i'm not giving up on the baudelaire legacy, but it is really time consuming for me so i am going to officially put it on hiatus for a little while as i adjust to my increased hours at work.

what i'm anticipating moving forward is picking a specific day to post the baudelaires every week or once every other week & focus on gameplay / storytelling with tjolc throughout the spring & possibly into the early months of summer.

i know this is kind of a bummer since we just got to a good spot but i'm really bad with change & i'm slow to adjust so it's just what i need rn :) thank you for always being kind & understanding to me!

EIGHTIES, Part I Requested by @papermint-airplane Starring Caleb and Lilith Vatore

I think this was a good decade for them. Most people thought the goths might be vampires anyway, so they blended right in.

Only Caleb was requested, but we all know they come as a package deal, and I must admit I was already working on these looks anyway. I initially had Caleb in more punk attire (e.g. patched leather jacket and Mohawk), but it just didn't feel like him. I got suggested this hair, and it all fell together then. I imagine this is when he first discovered that buttoning up shirts is an unnecessary expenditure of energy. I'm not sure if it reads as quintessentially '80s, but I think it's perfect for him. This might be my favorite version of them I've done so far, and I have some story plans brewing for this era that could involve crowd participation, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

i use violet by samanitheseabunny! it's a little jarring at first so i turned the bloom down a little and increased the MXAO just bc i like really deep shadows. i also recently started using these photoshop actions and i use the top light + warmth after seeing it suggested by the lovely & talented @thebramblewood! i also increase the brightness quite a bit, increase the exposure just a smidge, and then play with the gamma correction increasing/decreasing as needed.
