I think the only thing I’d have to add is that if you want this too look like a more realistic instagram post, the text shouldn’t be in the middle, it is more left hand… if that makes sense?

For our design project part 1 I’ve created a “post” on canva.
I am not sure what image I should include but my genre is a romantic drama. I am also looking for feedback on the text I included. Is what I said too much? Any changes I could make ?
Additional tips ? 😊

This example of design is something I am really happy with. I really liked how I designed my assignment responses, and I used this template for a lot of assignments throughout the semester! I like the use of different colors and textual elements!

I think this is a really great way of announcing the show’s cancellation. I think it is very creative to have gone about in in a hiatus-type of manner. This post comes across as very personable and apologetic-but not just expressing sympathy! The audience could really connect to this post, I think it is perfect for that age range.

Is this language appropriate for canceling “Favorite Show” to a primarily female audience in their middle teens to late thirties? I tried to be as specific as possible, but I am hitting a roadblock!

Does this give the vibe of a company trying to save face, but not actually caring about the audience and their feelings? That’s what I’m going for lol.

For my reply tweets, i imagined the company was unapologetic about canceling it but trying to put up a facade that they cared about the audience’s feelings. I did apologize in mine, but i made sure in most of them to plug the other shows on the streaming service. Here’s an example of what I said: “Thank you for your comment! We understand your criticism, and apologize for not meeting your expectations. While we cannot bring back Favorite Show, we can offer you some of our other selections like Unfavorite Show and Ununfavorite Show! #favoriteshow”

I created seven TV Movie Studio Co. Response posts. Here are about 4 of them. This is just my draft but how do my responses to angry fans sound?
I chose to use Instagram as my social media platform and have already found several templates on canva.
How did everyone else do with their responses?
If your comfortable do you mind sharing your response posts ?

Bridgerton rant!
This show truly helps me get into the mind of an angry fan. I am not one of those angry fans for this show, but because of the spaces I am in online, I see quite a lot of them. The show runner doesn’t necessarily stay in line with the books in some instances, and the fans go mad. Channeling that outrage, I am easily able to put myself in this scenario and build off some of the talking points the angry fans make.

I honestly think your mock tweet is awesome. I think it is good to have a bit of comedic relief with your wording, I think it is likely to lessen the blow of the bad news! Also- where did you find that template? Asking for a friend…

Working on the initial studio announcement for the cancellation of 'favorite show'. The point of the tv show was it's sort of like a "la-brea" style, but with natural disasters and weather phenomena. I tried to go with a tactic of using terms people who watched the show would use, to better cater to the individuals. I basically want to know is if this seems sufficient, or if I should try a different strategy to target the wanted audience. As I said, I believe that using terms the style of audience would understand in reference to the account should work. Should I change the wording a bit?

10 minutes?!
Long YouTube videos appeal to me as a viewer because of the way it shapes the space around me while watching it. With these longer videos I don’t have to constantly search for new ones over and over again and I can simply let the video run and do what I need to during it. It’s very fun to learn about topics or drama while I am cleaning or doing a craft.

Cancelled.
When Anne With an E was cancelled on Netflix I was so genuinely upset. I’ve always had a soft spot for historical-set shows and movies, but this one really struck me emotionally. There was so much more left to the story that they didn’t get to touch upon, and i think the themes and topics of the show were so important to my own development as a person too.

Check in!
I know that the project is creating media for these different sites, but we don’t actually have to post them, right? That’s the only question i have for this assignment, because although the assignment talks about using a template to replicate it, we are using the fake names and stuff to not spread misinformation, so I’m just a little confused. @npfannen

Listening to classical music is a game changer when I need to lock in and get an assignment done- especially a draft like this one. Not only is the music calming, but it stimulates my mind and gets it moving when I feel so mentally exhausted.

That sounds incredibly difficult. I had to edit a video a few days ago for another class and even cutting the video down a few seconds took so long to do. I really hope this all turns out great for you1
Hardest Part of Content Creation
The hardest part of creating content for this project has been recording and editing. The content that I have chosen to use for this project was through Instagram and its feature of reels. I have had no problem coming up with ideas for the content or writing the script but setting up shots and editing together footage with a voice over has been difficult as I have never had to do it before. Because I know it is not something I am used to an it is not the point of the project, I have been focusing on the writing aspect the most and involving the strategies that I have seen from the creators I've been watching.

I think the title is fine! It explains the content of your guide really succinctly. If you are looking for an alternative, I think I’d suggest making the title, “How to write on Instagram” or something on the sort, just to show that it’s a guide, and then in a subheading below you could write “early Ed teachers edition” like you have there. But I think your title is perfectly fine how it is.

Peer Request for my title page
I am looking for recommendations on my title page for the content analysis project.
As far as a title I was unsure on if the title I chose was good enough or if I should change it up. I did not know what to title it.
Any other recommendations?
Any feedback is highly appreciated!

I think you could go about this one of two ways. You could either try and format it before you put the text down, or you could organize the text over multiple slides and then figure out the display of the pages. I feel like the second one might be the best option for this, simply because once you have ur text down, you will be able to see how much space you have for photos or backgrounds and such. I think keeping the dark theme would be really cool, even if the backgrounds and such aren’t just black, but dark colors.

For my title slide I felt as if it would be good to have my primary example on the front page (Alfabusa's Hunter the Parenting) a visual novel of sorts set and animated in white wolfs world of darkness setting. as one of the main topics i intend to touch on due to it having the most art made of it from official sources I felt that it was an extremely visually striking opening paired with the title of The power of lore grabbing the readers attention now moving forward I am not sure how id like to format the remaining content I have pages upon pages of narrative how and why but putting it from document to PowerPoint seems rather daunting. Id greatly apreciate any advice that yall could give.
thank you

I think your language is great for your audience! The only thing I’d suggest is adding some more display-type features, like bold, font, and colors to really grab the attention of your audience.
Peer Review Week Post!
Is this language appropriate for an audience of teacher content creators of TikTok to understand how to assess who their audience is? I am having a hard time creating my HTWG, so any and all feedback is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I think the content strategy of specifically naming your audience in your videos is really interesting. While it might discourage those who aren’t apart of those goals or central audience from interacting, it might really bring the community together!
What matters about the audience?
The genre of content that I have chosen is fitness recipe content. There are a few creators that I follow in this sector, and they are usually who I look to when I cook. Something about the audience that matters in this is the goals of the audience. Each creator discusses why the viewer should use their recipes, often starting with saying these recipes should be used if the viewer has fitness goals. The audience of this content is known by creators to be a specific group of people, all of which have something in common in relation to the content they are producing.

This is my general layout for the presentation and stuff. I’m just trying to decide if it’s too boring. Of course, there will be more words when I explain, but I just don’t know if I should add other elements.
