Kaeya and BFF!Reader Annoying Albedo HCs:

You know the saying “some live their life to make others miserable??’

That's EXACTLY how Albedo would describe you two

Already known throughout Mondstadt as being Trouble and Maker, respectively (who do you two think you are?? Team Rocket???)

You two are like ghosts in the wind, somehow always managing to find him and make him suffer

He’s conducting important experiments that requires all of his focus?? Nah the questions you pester him with are way more pressing. He finally gets a day that he (surprisingly) decides to take off and- dare he say- rest?? Guess who just knocked on the door?? :D that’s right!! Trouble!!

The first time you called him “Al” he almost- almost- poisoned you

(it’s the thought that counts, right?)

This creates a competition of “Who Can Come Up with a Nickname That’ll Make Albedo Want to Blow His Brains Out Most?”

Top-tier ones being “Albe-damned”, “Bae-do” (you almost got whacked with a book for that), “Lieutenant Albechemist” (for if he ever wanted a superhero name), “ALibido” (for when you’re feelin saucy), and on rare occasions, “Allison”

He goes to file a complaint to the Knights but is exasperated when all they do is give him a pat on the shoulder and a sympathy smile

they all know it would be pointless to try and stop you two anyways

But on special days, very rare days, something incredible happens

You both help him

He had just finished up work one day when you two stopped by

He was already preparing himself for what he was about to face

And you were both about to spout your usual nonsense that would get a rise out of him until, you notice-

His shoulders were drawn in taughter than usual, the creases between his brow deeper, even his normally tidy braided hair had fallen out of its style that he hadn’t bothered to fix his entire facial and body expressions were all throwing up red flags

Sure, Albedo was normally 100% serious all the time but looking at him when he was like this?

All you could see was a weary man that needed to be comforted

Now you know that if you tried to be upfront about it he’d shut you down quicker than Katherine can say “Ad adstra abyssosque”

Kaeya gave you a nod and you both mentally signaled each other- it’s go time

You two step on either side of him, looping an arm through his, “Y’know, the Knights were thinking about having a get-together at Angel’s Share tonight and it just wouldn’t be a celebration if our favorite alchemist wasn’t there”

Cue the annoyed eye roll

He denies and attempts to break away from you two, but there was no give

Quickly glancing up, he could tell by the conniving look you shared that “no” wasn’t going to be an answer

Normally, he’d fight but he just didn’t have the energy

(this was also probably why he was a bit more emotionally open than normal too. r/hmm)

cue you two dragging a deflated Albedo down Mondstadt’s streets 

The moment you three stepped in the tavern orders for drinks were shouted across the room

You plop him down into one of the seats, making sure you and Kaeya are on either side

Once the drinks are served Kaeya doesn’t hesitate to take a swig but Albedo looked a little more apprehensive

The man wasn’t the most prosed in alcohol and if it would make him lose control of his motor skills then what was the point??

After you reassured him that only a sip or two would only calm him did he sniff the beverage

(albedo is just a sour, grumpy cat you guys he needs some encouragement)

Although he didn’t partake as much in drinking as you guys did, he did feel the tension from earlier start to loosen up

He noticed how easy it was to forget his worries when he was around you two

(that’s not to say that you two weren’t still a thorn in his side)

But you all were his troublemakers, and as much of a headache you can be at times you two are also a remedy; a solace when life gets too serious

(you and kaeya were absolutely going to make him pay for the tab)

(albedo immediately threatens to steal your kidneys)
