OKAY SO YEAH LOOK like we all know Phoenix and Maya have the perfect A++++++ relationship, and Phoenix can sense when Maya feels like sad and stuff and knows how to cheer her up, but in this case she’s pretty much lost a lot of things, and she’s gone through a lot of shit and he simply cannot fully wrap his head around why she is still putting up a smile and holding back tears.

Now, I know we haven’t gotten much Edgeworth/Maya interactions in these games my tears BUT BUT BUT BUT!!! It could be because Edgeworth’s gone through a lot of shit as well, but he knows Maya is a really strong person even behind all the smiles and klutz. He can understand her feelings at the moment and why she would want to keep up a strong position right now, even though she lost her mother, and Edgeworth knows that as well and acknowledges her strength and just knows that she’s a really smart and wise person looking past burgers and stuff.

OH MY GOD I TOLD YOU I WAS BAD AT EXPLAINING STUFF BUT LET ME EXPLAIN YOU A THING: I SHIP THEM YES I SHIP IT LIKE A MAD WOMAN BUT IT’S BECAUSE THEY HAVE THIS REALLY NATURAL AND EASY-GOING RELATIONSHIP. IT’S LIKE EDGEWORTH DOESN’T TRY TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND HER HE JUST DOES. AND EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOT THE SAME KIND OF “SNARK-SNARK-JOKES” RELATIONSHIP THAT SHE HAS WITH NICK IT’S STILL A REALLY NATURAL RELATIONSHIP THEY RESPECT EACH OTHER AND ACKNOWLEDGE EACH OTHERS’ STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

There’s a lot I could write about this, but all it really boils down to is how much I love Phoenix and Maya’s relationship, and that 2-4, despite my gripes about how a certain someone was handled, is probably my favorite case in the entire trilogy because of them.

Happy birthday Claude / Khalid!

Last summer was tough for me, but playing this game cheered me up. I learned to draw what made me happy, and it reminded me why I started draiwng in the first place.

I might not be an incredible artist with a mindblowing portfolio, but when I pour love in drawing like these, I feel happy. It’s also with drawings like these that I meet so many great persons. So yeah, happy birthday Khalid, and happy one year FE3h, it’s also very soon, if I recall well.
