MOON IN GEMINI.
Born with the Moon in Gemini, you are likely to be a curious individual, with an active, versatile mind. Gemini is an Air sign, governing communication, the exchange of information or ideas, and the protocols with which social organization occurs.
Accordingly, you may find that you have an innate need to know as much as possible about the world around you, and may have a talent for numbers, speech or the written word.
Gemini is a Mutable sign, implying the need for variety and change. You are likely to find that you are easily engaged in new things, seek stimulation and may become easily bored. You are likely to be very adaptable, and love anything new. You may be an instinctive multi-tasker, and may habitually involve yourself in many tasks at the same time. Your need for variety means you are better when doing several things at once, but need to avoid scattering your mental energies so that very little actually gets done.
The essence of this sign is communication. Unless other factors in your birth chart dominate, you are likely to enjoy sharing information with others, and may be very talkative. With the Moon in Gemini, may find yourself involved with lots of different people, flitting from group to group, situation to situation, in order to exchange information and ideas. Information is the foundation of your emotional wellbeing. You are likely to feel at your best when actively engaged in learning something new.
A Need to Communicate.
For the Moon in Gemini, information is paramount. You may not need to study something in depth to feel that you know enough about it. As long as you have glimpsed the basis of an idea or opinion, you may then feel satisfied to move on. Like the literal social butterfly, you may find yourself moving from person to person, gathering data, ideas information or facts before moving on to share what you have gained. You need to know about what is going on around you, and will enjoy imparting to others the information they may need to get through the day.
Sometimes, this love of information can extend to gossip. You may have a weakness for scandals, trivia and trashy magazines! You like to know what is happening in other peoples lives. This works well for you when your love of knowledge stimulates good conversation and an interest in the world around you.
When taken to extremes, a love of gossip can work against you. You may find that you inadvertently develop a reputation for being fickle, two-faced or unreliable. Others may know you cannot be trusted to keep a secret, and so will exclude you from the true details of their personal lives. Or you may attract to yourself persons who thrive on discussing the misfortunes of others. This can create a negative backlash that will ultimately bring you undone.
Discretion is an important trait to develop when born with the Moon in this sign. Because you are interested in everything does not mean you have the right to spread it around!
Socially Engaged.
The Moon in Gemini is a very inquisitive placement. In many ways, you experience a sense of personal worth by connecting to other people, talking to them about their problems and concerns, and finding out what makes them tick. You are less likely to be concerned with deep emotional intricacies as you are with the peculiarities of their life circumstances or perspectives.
Once you have ascertained where someone is coming from and why, you are likely to then feel compelled to move on to someone else, having satisfied your need to exchange information, so entering another “data file” into your catalogue of human experiences. Your interest in others is indeed genuine.
You may just find you have an almost unquenchable need to know more. In essence, you will need to find a balance between your need for information, and your ability to connect with others on more than superficial terms.
As the Moon is also concerned with nurturing, you may have a special ability to make others feel good with what you say. Because you know how to nurture with words, you may know the right thing to say at just the right moment to get others feeling light and bright again. Moon in Gemini is known for humour and entertainment. You may instinctively know how to keep things fun.
Talking around the surface of things stop them getting heavy. You are likely to have an uncanny ability to turn the conversation around when needed to the brighter side of life. You are probably very good at defining emotions. You have the ability to categorize experiences based on objective fact, but may be less comfortable actually feeling what is happening.
In this sense, you may attempt to avoid deep emotional experiences, feeling more certain of yourself with rational or logical discussion where you can analyze a certain situation, classify it, and move on. In time, you will need to learn to deepen your emotional experiences, so that you can learn why certain emotions occur. Rather than detaching from emotional involvement, you may find that experiencing emotion, then adding logic, helps broaden your social repertoire.
Skills with Words or Numbers.
As the Moon rules the instincts, you may have instinctual talents with words and numbers. You may be good at keeping score, at accounting, or any form of commerce. You may also have a love for trade, enjoying the hustle and bustle that goes along with bartering and retail. You may have a love of gadgets, and be drawn to anything bright, shiny and new. You may be an instinctive flirt, and love flitting from one admirer to the next.
This Moon position is often associated with those whose main concern is with the external world, exchanging facts, ideas and commodities without getting too consumed by the deeper, or more mysterious, dimensions of life. This is fine, as long as it does not preclude you from acknowledging that you are also an emotional being, with passionate needs that also need expression. Then your love of logic can be balanced with a well-rounded interpersonal life.
Born with the Moon in Gemini.
At its best, Gemini is a lively and versatile sign. Born with the Moon here, you are likely to have a quick and adaptable mind. Your interest in whatever is happening around you means that you will feel an ever-present need to “know”. Once you have discovered something, you will want to share it with those around. Upon this foundation, your need for communication grows. Emotional balance comes from being connected to your immediate environment and having other people in your life. The need for variety and change is usually strong here, and you will seek multiple experiences and projects to keep you on the go. Your curiosity can be both an endless source of discovery and a good deal of personal charm. Connected with others, you can share what you have learned. Moving from situation to situation generates feelings of newness and excitement that will always give you something interesting to talk about.

Tag yourself as some of my favourite quotes from books
all songs can be found on this playlist here
“Hell is the absence of people you long for.” - Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel // ‘You Already Know’ by Bombay Bicycle Club, Kathryn Williams
sprinkles of tinsel embroidered into the velvet sky, craving the caramel smoothness of being with that one person, weeping hearts stained with crimson scars and gaping holes of unknowing, subtle watercolour sweeping through the clouds but pretending it’s the most vibrant colour palette
“So many things pass secretly between people anyway.” - Normal People by Sally Rooney // ‘Mallory’ by Back to Yours
crimson fireworks exploding in embers that dull too quickly, chipped scarlet nail polish, eye contact that stabs like barbed wire but comforts like favourite sweaters, shattered mirrors looking more beautiful on the wooden floor then they ever looked on your wall
“How tremendous the agony of unmade decisions.” - If We Were Villains by M. L. Rio // ‘This December’ by Ricky Montgomery
ancient buildings built out of frosted mysteries and unlabelled passions, black coffee gone cold into thick treacle, unappreciated paintings bleeding with secrets from the missing years, clouds of fog rolling over dew stained hills, fresh silk brushed against comforting cotton
“You’re my favourite person of all time.” - Elenor and Park by Rainbow Rowell // ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ by Michael Buble
lemon sherbets bubbling in your stomach at the sound of someone’s name, craving the soft touch of another, vibrant shades of paint splattered across your hours, golden sparkles flying out of fingertips, thoughts that fall off the train track, pearly stares soaked in memories to be made
“Sometimes it’s good to go to war, just to know you can.” - Power by Naomi Alderman // ‘Ego’ by Koren Grace
rusted metal wiped clean of oppression and silence, wearing your glittered tiara with pride, cowering in fear from the strongest lioness’, learning ethereal angels can be just as terrifying as obsidian stained witches, the sound of sharpened swords in-time with the tapping of stilettos
“He looks at me like I am a girl brought in with the tide, rare and scarred and broken. A girl found in the roughest waters, in the farthest reaches of a dark fairytale. He is looking at me like he might love me.” - The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw // ‘Something About Her’ by The Kents
frothed hands formed out of the tips of waves, frosted eyes glazed over by charcoal memories, jack frost planting deep kisses on your cheeks, gentle beats from a thawing heart, smoky figures built of bonfires and whispered stories, shutting your eyes and jumping deep

Guidelines for Tritype/IV Evaluation
1.      Desires and Fears
1s desire perfection and fear unworthiness
2s desire love and fear abandonment
3s desire success and fear failure
4s desire specialness and fear normalcy
5s desire knowledge and fear incapability
6s desire security and fear instability
7s desire stimulation and fear entrapment
8s desire autonomy and fear enslavement
9s desire peace and fear disruption
2.      Order
The first fear and desire are those of your core type
This is followed by your wing
Then by your first fix
Then by your second fix
Then by your first fix’s wing
Then by your second fix’s wing
3.      Instinctual Variants’ Effect
Sp 1 turns its critical eye towards itself and thinks itself is in need of perfection.
So 1 upholds itself as a banner of virtue for others to follow as a mentor.
Sx 1 turns its critical heat and anger towards the outside world and thinks the outside world is in need of perfection.
Sp 2 acts in a childlike fashion to endear other to it.
So 2 helps the broader environment and takes on tasks to endear itself to others.
Sx 2 seduces an individual with a special relationship to endear itself to that person.
Sp 3 acts against vanity and overfocuses on its work and letting it speak for itself.
So 3 focuses on networking and presenting its polished image to as many people as possible.
Sx 3 tries to live up to a masculine or feminine ideal and make a strong attractive impression on others.
Sp 4 acts stoically and focuses on suffering in silence.
So 4 chronically compares itself to others to develop its identity.
Sx 4 focuses on sharing its powerful personal experience with others through emotional rawness and aggressive honesty.
Sp 5 focuses on hobbies and a safe space they can retreat to.
So 5 plays an advisor role to others and collects helpful information.
Sx 5 collects darker information and shares secrets or interesting information as a method of connection.
Sp 6 focuses on material safety and obsesses over details to keep itself secure.
So 6 ties itself to systems, organizations, and social roles to keep itself secure.
Sx 6 desperately ties itself to ideals of strength and bravery to keep itself secure.
Sp 7 focuses on lifestyle and personal, often permanent, pleasures (nice houses, fast cars, sex, etc.) as opposed to outside stimulation.
So 7 focuses on a utopian and idealistic image of the future and gives to others in the optimistic assumption they will give back.
Sx 7 focuses on new and sensational ideas and distractions with a focus on fresh experience.
Sp 8 acts as a survivalist and gathers the resources it needs to exist entirely independent of others.
So 8 acts as a protector to those around it and tries to remain powerful by shielding those less powerful.
Sx 8 acts in direct rebellion and emotional rawness against others, testing itself against others to find an ideal partner strong enough to surrender (often this search is unconscious.)
Sp 9 focuses on gathering resources so that it can remain stationary and uninvolved.
So 9 acts as an active peacemaker and works towards helping others to avoid conflict.
Sx 9 searches for an ideal partner to remain in stasis with, who will not disturb them or have conflict with them.
4.      Example
My friend is a 3w4 7w8 1w2 sx/sp
His core desires go:
Success>specialness>stimulation>perfection>autonomy>love
His core fears go:
Failure>normalcy>entrapment>unworthiness>enslavement>abandonment
His 3 is attractiveness focused with a side of work focus.
His 7 is fresh experience focused with a side of lifestyle focus.
His 1 is zeal focused with a side of self-criticism focus.
5.      Making the connections
This is a more intuitive (not iNtuitive) process. Make the connections from the basic core fear and desire (example: the core fear of failure feeds into all these other fears as a root cause and all these other fears in combination feed these behaviors)
Look at how the single core fear plays into every other behavior at play and every other fear at play. Flavor each attitude and behavior and fear based on every other factor.
And in conclusion, you have your type evaluated. Congratulations. Go forth into the world in full glory.

You know what’s really fucked? Realizing you never got the support you needed when you were a kid. Realizing that your parents just literally assumed you could take care of yourself after experiencing trauma and that you did - again and again. Realizing that your parents never saw that you were alone in a world of pain because all they saw was their own. Realizing that because of the emotional neglect, you never learned how to interact in a healthy way with others.
But you know what’s really cool? Realizing that you can still heal those wounds. Realizing that you can find that support now. Realizing you don’t have to take care of yourself like you used to, that you can find people who can show you what it means to be seen and held emotionally. Realizing that through those people, you can be taught how to be compassionate towards yourself and others. Realizing that through those people, you can learn to hold your own feelings. Realizing that the patterns you learned as a kid don’t mean you’re inherently flawed to your core. Realizing that even if the way you are isn’t your fault, you are now more in control of who you become. Realizing that even though it may take a while, you can learn to love yourself for the flawed beauty you possess, that you can be healthy and love yourself for the times you mess up because you’re a human who has had some really hard experiences and is learning to hold them with care.

ts eliot was sexist and anti-semitic.
ezra pound was a fascist. he openly announced his support for both hitler and mussolini.
sylvia plath was anti-semitic.
virginia woolf was an ardent feminist and anti-colonialist. she was also elitist, racist, and anti-semitic.
ted hughes was sexist and most likely abusive.
plato was elitist, but did believe that education ought to be expanded to poor athenian citizens (ie local athenian males).
basically, none of your favs are perfect. they didn’t sit in old libraries wearing suits and contemplating fascinating ideas about mortality and society etc all the time. half of their writing is about sex. they often held the views of their time - views which today are unacceptable (and we wonder how they weren’t then).
so it’s ok not to write or journal everyday. it’s ok to enjoy things that aren’t ~dark academic enough~. it’s ok to have a day off. it’s ok to wear your pyjamas and a hoodie.
you’re still better than your favs if you’re not bigoted.

Intro—
Hello. I’m Chloe Bree.
I’m Indonesian, and I live in Indonesia. If you ask me where it is, its in southeast asia, at the south of singapore and thailand, and at the north of australia. If you still don’t know, then perhaps you know bali. One of our most popular and favourite tourism island.
Sorry about getting distracted. Anyway—I’m sixteen, 10th grade, and currently studying at 8th senior highschool in a small sity in java. I major in science, but i prefer socials or languange.
About my idenity identifiers—I’m an Bisexual, INTP, Taurus, Ravenclaw, 6w7, Chaotic Neutral, lone-wolf female who is trying to be friends with other people but fails miserably every time i try.
The reason i’m on tumblr, is because i want a safeplace for me to open up about my opinions that are too taboo to be spoken about in my quite conservative country. I do hope that I don’t get caught by my relatives or people that know me here, for i am sure that they would spread rumors about me (like they did when i had an affair with a women a few months ago).
Well—see you then!
—bree
