Just to make a point, every time I finished a panel of this I would export it as a PNG on the perceptual setting and use it as a color reference for the next panel

PLEASE CHECK YOUR COLOR SETTINGS

EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

for some reason ive had to viciously fight the overwhelming urge to add “dawg” to my every day vocabulary for like, the entire past month. No one i know says it. where did it come from? why is it here?? how do i get it to stop??? no but seriously i think ive heard it like, twice my entire life how did it get into my brain and why wont it leave.

they kinda wonky but like. 4 minute drawing with dry erase markers im winning

there is a cat in my lap. i know the cat (lives in this house. is my dad’s cat) but i do not at all remember when the cat got in my lap. just fucking. appeared apparently. i looked down and cat was there.

I want to like, make beautiful art and then throw it in the fire rn. I want to go camping in the woods and watch the stars and spend some time when everyone else is asleep just wandering around the edges of the site listening to the woods and the animals and watching the stars and the trees and just sit down and touch the ground and the leaves and just be.

I wish my cat was at my dad’s house because she is soft and kind and i know she would curl up on my lap and murrp and maybe climb onto my shoulders and just be present and grounding and beautiful and everything would be ok for even a little bit.

I really really really wnat to draw right now but im like, sooo sure my art skills are not going to do what i want and unfortunately, I have no crayons in my room so i cant draw like the child i feel like (or want to feel like? i want the current world and my responsibilities to go away) unless i go to the Horrid Downstairs and get some.

Devastating.

normally in this situation i would draw microwaves, but im like 80% sure if i pick up a pencil i will get halfway through the microwave, scribble out the entire thing, stab or rip the paper, maybe break the pencil if it isnt a mechanical one, and throw the notebook across the room. I fear the microwaves can’t save me this time.

i've been making a lot of bad art lately which is one of the world's most healing activities but if you have perfectionist tendencies you really have to commit to volume (if you make ONE bad painting it's just a bad painting whereas if you make 20 it's a meditative practice!). unfortunately we live in a one bedroom apartment and now we have to commit a significant portion of our storage to bad paintings. i would recycle them but unfortunately i need spare bad paintings to weave together into bad papercraft!!

anyway so i decided to move my bad artmaking into a new, smaller sphere and make bad linocuts. and let me tell you. if you are trying to get past thinking "my art should be good," linocut is a wonderful teacher. everything can be going great and then you exert slightly too much palm pressure and WHOOPS! sliced the face off. luckily the craft is so niche that negative self-talk can't really stick to it. i'll think something like "everybody else's linocuts are perfect. nobody else fucked up their linocut of a hot lady sphinx." and this is such a patently bananas sentence that i can simply laugh fondly at it and continue hacking away at my little rubber square. recommend
