it’s actually really sad how much the quality of build a bears has gone down. my first build a bear (a pig) was made 20 years ago and you can see how much better the quality was. he has glass eyes and wire foldable ears, and the skin of the inside his ears and his hooves and tail are of this really soft faux suede type fabric. he has hooves on all four limbs also, which they typically don’t do anymore and give hooved animals teddy paw arms. and the hooves also have beans in them so it gives them a really good satisfying weight and texture. and to look at the build a bears they offer now it’s like.. half of them aren’t even real animals they’re things from franchises like pokémon or sanrio or disney which is fine but it’s like, whatever happened to just. a guy ? plus they all have the BAB paw logo on their hands now and it’s like. silence brand

If a worker who isn't the owner says ANYTHING similar to "I'm not really supposed to do this but-" and then does something that helps you, under no circumstances inform the business, including through reviews. You tell them that the worker was polite, professional, the very model of customer service and why you like to go there. You do not breathe a word of the rulebreaking.

i hate those posts that are like "what if your mother aborted you?" because it's LIKE. i value my mother as having her own agency above my existence simply because she came first. if she aborted me, id be fine with it because in the fucking hypothetical of un-existence & knowing, id rather her have access to safe abortion than having to carry & birth when she didn't want to like wtf kind of egotistical question is that. do u not value yr mother in the least. whatever joys you've gotten out of life aren't greater than yr mother's choice
