johan and eli fights. johan has the upper hand against eli. while fighting, johan thinks about zack, mira and his mom “friends? i don’t have any. neither do i have a family”. eli collapses on the ground and johan proclaims that the gangdong area belongs to god dogs but then eli gets up, a stick in his hands, and smacks johan with it. johan faints. gun asks eli why is he fighting so much.

eli: because as dad, i need to protect my family members.

his response is too simple for gun and it angers him. jerry takes johan away from the scene and gun fights hostel.

gun fights hostel and they are beaten up really badly. olly arrives at the scene. before gun could do anything more to eli, olly starts talking about the very illegal way to get a lot of money that eli had initially proposed. gun loves the plan very much and asks who was the one that thought up of it. olly credits eli. gun is very pleased and thus lists hostel as one of the four gangs, “gangdong’s hostel”.

yes, i’m skipping all the way to 240 since this chapter piqued my interest in lookism again :’)

heather helps eli take off the stitches that he got because of his fight with the back door crew. he blushes and thanks her.

sally and heather are good friends. when sally’s parents passed away, heather would hang out with her often so she doesn’t feel lonely.

heather’s parents does law and she is the class president. 

while walking down the street, sally and heather spots eli stealing cat food from a convenience store. heather grabs eli’s wrist and scolds him that it’s wrong while sally returns the cat food and apologizes.

heather to eli: didn’t i tell you not to do those type of things? you told me you wouldn’t do it again! didn’t you say that?

eli: ...yes

heather, patting eli’s head: our eli is a good person ^^

eli blushes.

sally watches them and remembers a time when she and heather were at the swings. heather had asked sally what the relationship between her and eli was which sally answered as family. sally asks heather why she asked which heather responded with “i’m just curious”.

sally: heather... actually.. i really like eli.

the scene changes to the whole family + olly and heather. sally is saying that she wants to have all the kids without a family to live at their house (sally’s house). sally’s house has a lot of rooms and there are probably a lot of children without any family.

taenggu brings up that the police might come and eunggu brings up that it’ll be hard to find kids like them. and the biggest problem was money.

eli says that he has a solution to these problems, without getting caught by the police and can earn a lot of money. he then says a shady, illegal method to get the money. hearing his plan, olly starts clapping and compliments eli. he looks up to eli and finds eli fighting and doing illegal stuff to be cool. 

heather to eli: didn’t i tell you that you can’t do stuff like that? didn’t you promise me that you wouldn’t do these kind stuff anymore?!

eli, blushing: ...i understand. i promised you i wouldn’t do that anymore...

heather: you won’t do that method right?

eli: yes

heather: okay, then let’s come up with another method.

eli: okay

heather: eli is a good person ^^

olly, witnessing this, looks shocked and stares at heather with hatred.

sally was also witnessing this scene. she stares at them, jealous, which warren notices. 

the panel changes to warren outside. he knows that sally likes eli. while he is outside, gun and johan approaches him.

i find it funny and frustrating that the eng webtoon first had hae-eun’s name be hae-eun and then changed it to heather?? i appreciate the translators and all but it confuses people, stick to their kr names pls.

eli and warren were about to fight but suddenly sally steps between the two of them and tells them to stop.

sally to eli: calm down! he isn’t looking down on you! you don’t need to fight!

eli: ...don’t need to fight?

sally: of... of course!

warren covers sally’s eyes and punches eli.

warren: sally park, don’t look.

sally, hitting warren’s head: what do you mean don’t look!? didn’t i tell you to stop?!

warren: that squirt looked down on me too.

sally: he is just a kid that doesn’t know anything!

eli lays on the ground from the punch that warren threw. warren questions if he hit eli too hard. warren’s two other friends praises warren and says “no one that got punched by warren can get up.”

eli: it hurts.... it looks like i was actually looked down upon....

he gets up, looking unharmed which shocks warren and his friends.

sally: are you okay? you’re bleeding..! what to do?! warren chae, you are too much! punching someone who doesn’t know anything? i already said he’s not that type of person! he and you are not the same! he’s not the type that is always outside fighting!

warren walks away from sally and eli. but at night, he and his two friends show up in front of sally’s house with their bags.

warren: i also! left my house! you two are really living together? are you crazy? we also came to live with you guys!!

sally: who agreed to that?!

warren: honestly speaking, (what did) you guys do together?! with me here, i definitely won’t let you (do) it!!

sally: who speaks like you omitting words like that?!

warren, whining on the floor: i don’t careeee! i will live here! don’t care don’t care don’t care! 

sally: ugh you’re so annoying!

warren to eli: hey, did you two hold hands yet? did you? did you? answer me! no, actually don’t answer me. if i hear it, i’ll get even angrier.

eli: holding hands.... something will happen. when a female and male hold hands, won’t they get kids?

warren and his friends were surprised at what eli said. they think, “what’s with this kid?”

warren: sally park. are you really going to live with this dude? it’s too dangerous. i’ll protect you. i... want to live here.

sally: no.

the chapter skips over to the “back door” crew. the boss of “back door” is pissed that a junior high kid had beat up two of the crew members (ref. chapter 232). the junior high student is identified as warren chae.

the chapter goes back to sally, eli, warren and his two friends. they are introducing themselves to each other and telling their stories. one of warren’s friend was abandoned inside a mail dropbox. his name is taeng-gu*. warren’s other friend’s name is eung-gu*. 

* these should be their korean names. i have no idea what webtoon will be changing their names into. i will be changing the names listed here when webtoon releases their official western name ^^

warren: i’m warren chae, 14 years old. i’ve known the two of them /taeng-gu and eung-gu/ for 5 years. done.

sally: i’m... i’m sally park, 14 years old. i’m living alone. done!

warren: marry me.

sally: can you not change the topic?!

warren prompts for eli to introduce himself. they are all curious about what type of person eli is.

eli: i... killed my dad.

sally: *thought bubbles* little... bitch? who are you? how did you enter? this is my house. are you a thief?

eli: this place... isn’t bad

sally: *thought bubbles* he and i are different. he said that this unfortunate house is not bad.

eli tells sally that he wants to live in her house and she agrees. “he became my first tenant.”

the next morning, sally brings her toiletries to the bathroom to find eli showering there. she screams upon seeing eli. eli tells sally that he didn’t use a lot of water. 

eli: *bad* things will happen if you use too much water. *bad* things will happen if your body has a foul odor. *bad* things will happen if you use soap. *bad* things will happen if you don’t wash your clothes

sally: *thought bubbles* what is he saying? “bad things will happen”? what will happen?

later, eli eats breakfast outside the diner room. sally asks him why he’s eating outside to which eli responds, “eating with girls in a room alone, *bad* things will happen.” 

sally: ...what did he go through?

eli shows up in the front gate of sally’s school. the girls in her school sees him through the window. “OMG SUPER HANDSOME GUY. WHO’S BOYFRIEND IS HE?” sally looks out the window as well. eli points at sally. “her’s.” the girls around sally starts freaking out.

sally, blushing: this... this big idiot.

after school. sally to eli: do you like me??? why did you follow me to school? is it because you think i’m super cute too so you came to find me??? i don’t even know your name!

eli: because i’m curious.

sally: what? you’re curious about me!? because i’m too cute you want to know more about me? how despicable!

eli: school... because i’m so curious about how junior high is like. how are school uniforms like. how are textbooks and school lunch like. i’m very curious.

sally: you never went to junior high? how about grade school?

eli: i only attend up to second grade.

sally: then why did you cuss at me when we first met?

eli: because i can’t be looked down upon. because if i’m looked down upon, i’ll get hit.

sally: then why aren’t you cussing right now?

eli: because i think that it’s fine if it’s you that’s looking down on me.

sally, blushing: then don’t you dare start liking me! don’t even think about it! if you do start liking me... you know what i mean right???!!

eli: okay. i won’t like you.

warren shows up. he looks angry: then can i like you? is it okay if me, warren chae, likes you, sally park? now you know my name.

warren goes up to eli: you little squirt. how dare you stalk sally. do you want a beating?

eli bites warren’s nose, causing warren to bleed. warren kneels on the ground, his hand covering his face.

eli, glaring and snarling: what are you looking at? 

warren: sally park, cover your eyes

he holds out his school uniform blazer to his two friends, ready to fight: hold this.

sally is known as the goddess of her middle school.

warren likes sally.

warren’s an orphan. the people in sally’s school finds him scary but she doesn’t. she finds him pitiful.

sally thinks about her encounter with warren and thinks, “if that isn’t pitiful, then what is?” she also doesn’t have parents and wonder “why is it only me that don’t have parents? why is it only me that’s not fortunate? in school, even if i get along with my classmates, what’s the point? after school, i still don’t have parents to come pick me up.” she feels really lonely.

sally’s parents passed away and she lives alone. her grandmother is still alive but after her parents passed away, her grandmother doesn’t want to see her anymore.

sally watches a show of a family eating together and cries. 

at night, she gets waken up by a cat. she follows the cat to another room in her house. there, she finds eli.
