there weren’t many things that really made thalia happy, especially with growing up on the isle. however, hearing that king ben’s reign was over and that villains finally took control of auradon did put a smile on the demi-god’s face. “i don’t know why people are complaining so much. this change is a good and well deserved one.”

Eli smirks. “That sounds fun. I can’t wait to watch that. I’ll make some popcorn.” He smiles. “These fucking stuck up idiots kill me. I hate them. I can’t wait until we defeat them.”

To think he was actually at the castle for a gala was something he was confused over. Why he came along to this thing was beyond him - but perhaps he was hoping for something to happen that he could join in with. He really wanted some fun, and this was more his idea of hell - and as someone who was the son of the hades - hell was real to them. “I swear, If I hear another horn being blown, I will take that horn and shove it so far up, it will replace their voicebox.” he snapped.

“You dont even have to say I’ll always save you one. Show everyone how is VKs like to party at the Isle.” She said. It made her laugh at his comment. “Oh I’m ready to see that. I’m sure it’ll be funny to see how far they’ll go to show us how cool they are thinking three can hang with us.”

He smiles. “Good. I can’t wait to dance with the loveliest girl in the room.” He hands her a drink, making sure she watched it being made. He didn’t want her to think he had ulterior motives. “They’re so pathetic to think they can keep up with us. We grew up drinking, especially us pirates.”

“You don’t look so bad yourself but I assume you know that already.” She teased. “I’m just ready to see how all these drinks that all these stuffy princesses like match up to the rum or wine.”

He smiles. “Save me a dance. We’ll kill the dance floor together.” He nods. “I can’t wait to see how lightweight these damn idiots are. I can hold my liquor thankfully.”

“Aww thanks Eli. Least I can thank my parents for that.” She teased as she played with her wine. “Oh wasted please. I already to drink all the fancy wine they have here. Not that rum isn’t always good but never had something like this without stealing it.”

“It’s the truth though. You clean up well.” He smiles at her. “Wasted it is. I’m gonna try a shirley temple with vodka. I know it’s a girly drink but I’m afraid I don’t give a fuck.”

Eli nods. “You look stunning Ellie. I’m mesmerized by your beauty.” He was happy at this Gala. Although he hoped something interesting would happen at some point. “Shall we go grab a bite to eat? Or we can wasted!”

It all felt like to her, being able to attend something fancy like this or even being allowed inside the castle was a trap. It was like if they wanted the VKs to do something so she felt at edge. She also felt so out of her comfort zone in a dress so nice like this. It was different to her usual attire but at least she looked like she fit in. “I got to say, I do clean up nicely for a pirate huh?” Ellie joked as she took a drink from her cup of wine.

“I just thought I would tell you someone broke into your place and is wreaking havoc. Thought you might want to know.” He smiles. 

“ it’s absolutely adorable you   think i’ve listened to a single    word you’ve said .”

               she couldn’t help but laugh , taking delight in the                situation unfolding before her . unless they were                a power greater than hers , how could they think                for even a moment they could capture her attention ?

So I’ll be the one who’ll kill him.” In her eyes it’ll be redemption for everything he put her and Gil through. “You think he’ll know that but one he doesn’t care and two he gots the others villains to help him out. As much as they hate him, they need his help.” It still blew Ellie’s mind why the other villains haven’t gotten annoyed with him yet.

“He’s a complete asshole. I can’t stand him. Anybody that treated you and Gil deserves to die. Just make sure I have a front row seat to watch him get his ass kicked when the time comes.”

Leland never fails to tell me about it.” Clearly it was something all three had in common, how they all felt about their fathers. “No something tells me he isn’t stupid enough to even think about doing that. We just talked down at the pub.” It was more like shout at each other but she was glad it was only that. Ellie knew too well how appearances matter to Gaston for him to try anything in public. “According to him, he doesn’t want the heroes, especially the Beast, to forget about him. It’s why he came out of hiding.”

He nods, defenses falling down. “Okay good. Because I’d have to kill him if he laid a finger on you. He’d be dead meat.” He smiles at her. He was fond of Ellie. He’d always had a liking for the girl and he didn’t want anything bad to happen to her. “He’s so narcissistic. It’s gonna get him in trouble.”
