It’s sooooooo funny getting into Rebels having read the Thrawn books first. Because Rebels sets Thrawn up as like, a Big Bad Scary Guy. He’s got dramatic organ music. He’s hissing at people. He’s a Machiavellian supervillain. He’s a bad dude! Unfortunately he is ALSO the same motherfucker I just saw simping for Eli Vanto for 200 pages straight
It’s like if you watched a rom com where Hans Gruber from Die Hard has a really intense homoerotic thing with his twink cowboy college roommate culminating in him gifting said roommate his gay thoughts diary before inviting him to go live in his childhood home. And then you watched Die Hard.
