y’all ever fantasize about a fictional character a little too hard to the point you’re convinced you should be admitted to a mental hospital?

“Comparison is a thief of joy.”
It what keeps me up at night some times. Making me weep at the comparison of other’s against me.
Girls are taught at a very young age to dress a certain way, act a certain way, be a certain way. Constantly judged from the time we’re born. “If you were more like this…”
Our bodies rapidly changing, constantly having bodies compared to each other’s. Who has the flattest stomach, the biggest ass, perkiest boobs, thickest thighs, the “perfect” no makeup face.
Hearing comments like
“If your nose was just slightly less crooked-“
“If you just lost a couple of pounds-“
“Are you really going to eat that?”
So I can’t help but stare and compare myself to all these women I see and weep. Weep so hard I can barely catch my breath. God made them perfect so why do I look like me?
