I’m back!

:> Hi everyone.. I hope you each are well. This is a rare moment for me. To be online other than at work. 

It’s been hard acclimating myself to full-time work. But, I’ve done good. However, due to my mama needing more help because her health has worsen, I’ll be returning to part-time work. I have an amazing boss who is willing to let me work 3 days and even let me pick someone to take over the other 2 days I wouldn’t be there.

I’ll be off Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I might suddenly have some small free time to be online. But as always, you can reach me via email (eccanado88@gmail.com)

Again.. I miss you all and do hope each of you are doing well. 

I can’t believe it’s 2017!! And we’re already heading into the 3rd month.

So, I think that even more than just putting Black people in shows, there need to be stories that reflect the Black experience. Make sense of Black, Brown, Asian… experience, because [it’s important] not just for ethnic minorities, I think it’s an education for everybody. And I think it leads to a much more tolerant society if we’re exposed to each others’ stories. It just makes sense and it’s important. Very-very important. And i certainly like to keep an eye on things like that, and talk a lot, among my actor friends, about the lack of diversity. It’s an issue for sure. (x)
