Rabbit's blue and green photoreceptors widened as he looked up, grabbing the brim of his hat as he watched the core shoot up into the sky like a rocket. Once the dust in the air cleared, Rabbit looked around for his strange new companion. The sun from the sky made it nearly impossible to see wherever it went off to. He waited a few minutes before shrugging and continuing on his walk. "That was weird." He said to himself. "M-m-maybe he flew right into space!"
Rabbit-walter started following you
the core’s bright orange optic widened in excitement. “Hey! Hey! Hey you! Are you here to be my space buddy? I need a space buddy. Do you wanna go to space with me? I wanna go to space with you!”

Her eyes opened a moment as she shuddered at the sensation, violently jarred, looking at him in confusion. Her breathing was fast because of the shock, but she couldn't maintain consciousness for long. Despite being soaking wet and freezing cold, she fell asleep again.
Rabbit scratched his head. This girl really needed help. He compared way she responded to whatever nightmare she was having to a violent malfunction. Could humans have malfunctions? That's what it looked like to Rabbit. He dried off her face gently with a towel and sat back down in the chair, this time staying alert to protect the girl.

[Sleep well.] She twitched in her sleep again, eyes moving rapidly under her lids, breathing getting shallower.
Rabbit began to panic. It wasn’t often that this happened, only when someone in his family was in trouble, and nothing like this had happened in a very long time. He didn’t know what to do. He jumped up and ran to the kitchen where he grabbed a glass bowl and filled it with ice-cold water. He saw this in movies and hoped that it worked in real life too. As quick as he could, the worried automaton made his was back to Cassie and splashed the cold water on her face.

She didn't come to. Her pasty skin looked even paler; she was like a ghost. A trickle of sweat ran down the back of her neck, even though she felt cold, and she shuddered, whimpering again.
*’/Help! Th’ Spine… Come help!”/* Rabbit called over Walter-Wifi, hoping that even though his younger brother’s were in status, they would hear Rabbit’s message and wake up and help.
((OOC: Hey, I need to get off line for the night, I’ll pick this back up tomorrow))

After about six hours, she whimpered under her breath, starting to twitch under the blanket. The nightmares had started. But she couldn't wake up, pinned by the weight of the sleeping tablets she'd taken.
The sun was just starting to rise over the horizon, but it was still dark. The room was illuminated by the glow of the warm fireplace, as well as a few oil lamps that hung on the walls and sat on the coffee table. “Hmm?” Rabbit awoke at the sound, optics going back online. He quickly went over to Cassie, who he could tell wasnt well. “Cassie? Cassie, wake up!” He said, nudging her shoulders carefully, shaking her just enough. He didn’t want to hurt or frighten her.

She didn't look like she'd wake up for a while. The shallow wheezing of her breath was audible; barely moving under the blanket. She'd sleep for a good five or six hours without waking if she wasn't disturbed, apparently peacefully.
“Sick?” HatchWorthe asked as they discussed matters in the kitchen. “What is this Cassie sick with?”
“Is it contagious?” The Spine asked worriedly. “I dont want any of the human’s catching it if it’s as bad as you’re making it seam.”
“N-no… No, it’s not contagious.” Rabbit replied. “It’s… well…” Rabbit didn’t want to say it out loud. One reason being that he didn’t think he could even say such an awful thing, another reason being that he didn’t know how his brother HatchWorth would react. He still hasn’t been out of the vault for all that long, and was still learning about the world around him. Rabbit sighed and sadly held up the note from before to the Spine, who took it and read it.
“Oh„,” The Silver automaton was at a loss for words. He was simply shocked.
“She had a big bottle of pills, th’ Spine. They all spilled on the ground before she could take enough to-to-to-to… to do too much.”
The bots checked on Cassie who was still asleep. The Spine took her pulse just to make sure it was normal, and it was. They decided to let her sleep it out for the night, Rabbit sat in the chair across from her. He was on sleep-mode, not quite powered down but still able to be waken up easily if he needed to be.

She had barely been able to walk the last few steps, eyes drooping, body resisting. When Rabbit sat down, she was already out like a light. Her eyes were darkly shadowed, skin pale and pasty; she looked very ill, tiny under the blanket. The three she had taken were enough to knock out a strong bloke, let alone a tiny thing like her. Her breathing was shallow as she slept.
Rabbit sighed. He didn’t know too much about things like this, and wondered if he was too late. He wondered if she had already taken the pills. But he saw the open bottle fall to the floor along with many little pills. There were still a lot in there, really she couldn’t have taken enough to do more then make her fall asleep. He stood up and walked around to find whoever was home to tell them about their guest. He walked into the kitchen where HatchWorth was making tea as the Spine walked in, confused about what he heard Rabbit say about a “friend”. “Rabbit, did you say you need tea for a friend? Who's your friend?” The Spine asked suspiciously. “Her n-name is Cassie and she’s sick.” Rabbit explained. “She was outside under a tree, we need to help her.”

She could already feel the few she took kicking in, her lesser weight making them active a lot faster. She looked in the direction of the manor; by the time they got there - "Okay." she whispered, and tried to smile, though her lips barely moved.
Rabbit squeezed her hand lightly. When they got to the Manor, Rabbit opened the door and lead her in. He brought her to the living room to a large arm chair next to the fireplace. “See? Nice and warm.” He said, leaving to another room and returning with a fluffy purple blanket. It was one of Michael’s, but he wouldent mind sharing. Rabbit handed it to her and then looked up. “Hatchy? Could y-you put some water on for tea?”
“You dont drink tea!” A voice called back.
“It’s for a friend.” Rabbit answered before sitting on a chair across from Cassie.

She swallowed hard, staring at the robot, looking more scared than before. "I need to leave." she whispered back, eyes wide, and it was clear she didn't mean the grounds. "I can't stay here any more. I can't, I'm sorry, I tried." the tears started to run. Her hand was shaking harder in his. Her grip failed and the sleeping tablets hit the ground, scattering.
Rabbit looked down to the ground, then back up to Cassie. “Listen, I w-wont hurt you or anything. I’m a friend.” He offered a soft, calming smile… but really he felt like he was on the verge of tears himself. “It’s nice and warm inside the manor.” He offered. “Everyone is really friendly and will be nice to you… and n-not all of us are robuts if that helps.” The breeze blew again and he saw how the poor girl shivered. He couldn’t stand seeing anyone sad or in that much pain. “Or just walk with me. Anything. Please?”

She was almost at the exit, wracking her brains for a place to go. This place had looked so derelict but beautiful - she hadn't another place in mind. Her hands had moved automatically, popping open the container again, turning a small handful of the pills. No point waiting, then, if she couldn't do it here. Without thinking, she'd shoved three in and swallowed them dry, still walking, tears in her eyes. Then she heard his shout and looked around, eyes widening at the letter in his hand.
“Cassie!” He called again, catching up to the girl. He took her hand in his in attempt to lead her back to the Manor where she would be safe, but there was something in her hand. He raised it up and saw the bottle of pills and felt almost more worried and scared than ever in his life. Even if it was a stranger. “Cassie… Please dont do this. Please, please j-just come back th-this way!” He pointed over his shoulder. “We can talk, just please dont leave… Please.” He looked at her with sad eyes. Worried eyes.

She gave a slightly scared, forced laugh, backing up, shaking her head. "N- no, no, I'm fine, thanks." she turned and moved off, hugging an arm around herself. The note fluttered in the breeze again, still pinned.
“Hmm.” Rabbit frowned and looked down, noticing a folded paper that was partially under a grey stone. He lowered himself down, bending his knees with a hiss of steam as he reached for the paper. He straightened himself up, unfolded the note and read the words that were written by what looked like to be a very shaky hand. His eyes widened as he took in a sharp gasp, shaking his head slightly and not wanting to believe such an awful thing. “Cassie!” He yelled worriedly, taking off and running after her as fast he could. “Cassie, no! wait!”

"Cassie." her hands were shaking, making the bottle rattle a little in her grip; the wind blew, and she shivered as the note pinned down fluttered in the breeze. "I'll, um, go, sorry." she grabbed her bag, shoving the water and the pill jar back in, making to move off at speed.
“Hey wait, you dont have to go.” He said with a shrug. “It’s not as windy down by the duck pond. Would y-y-you come with me?” He said, extending an arm with a few mechanical clicks and offering a hand.

"Oh yeah! I remember." Rabbit said. He put a hand on the Jon's shoulder. "D-Dont worry, Pal. Everything's fine, that'll stop eventually. I know it will!"
“Yay!” The Jon said, following behind him. “Ice cream parade, ice cream parade!” he stopped with a bit of a hard twitch in his neck. “-p’raderaderaderade-“
Rabbit quickly reached over and twisted his neck a bit and The Jon straightened up. He looked a bit dazed for a moment.
“Hi Rabbit! Hi other Rabbit! Are we having an ice cream parade?” he asked.
Rabbit sighed a bit, nodding.
