It is an honor to age. It's something she says in the mirror to herself as she sees more white hairs, more wrinkles, and moves further and further away from what the memory of her mama looked like.

And it's not that she's minded gettin' older, really. It's more than her mama got. It's more than her Cora got. She was able to watch Marta and Lucy get older. And now that they were here in London, with all of these fantastical ways of gettin' better and with people livin' way longer than is expected? Well. It's not like she fears death. Still, sometimes when she looks in the mirror she swears she sees a much younger version of herself smilin' back. She's not that girl anymore, but sometimes she misses her.

one fun quirk about grace's story is that you can create an instant AU by just having someone else pick him up from the stormbones bc twitch was immediately so weird about it that it changed the trajectory of both of their lives. removing them changes Everything. also maybe he gets to keep his coat

flondon ocs. who are parents here? for me i have ariel (the hybrid, galette, eventually esker) and mantis (carrie, whatever their baby will be named when it comes). are they actively parents? are their kids out of the picture? are they good at it?
