if there is one thing I love most about Fallen London, then it's how strong everyone's OC-game is lol

so of course I spent the last few days rummaging through the FL-OC-tags, unavoidably falling for all the incredible designs and characters - so of course, of course I had to draw some uwu

@torabdos - Anfroys wet-mouse charme has truly entranced me (and I mean this in the best way possible)

@thevioletscout - I could never say no to a character-design with green accent-colours, Emery is just so fashionable, all of their outfits are soo cool?!

@val-pine - Valerie feels like the coolest stormy-eyed pirate-lady to me, I love the contrast of her red hair to all the blue and clay-grey colours of the rest of her design :D

Talon is a monster hunter and cracksmith. He's all gruff business on the outside, think a mob bosses best enforcer if that enforcer was also the boss. He doesn't take shit from anyone and is fiercely single minded when it comes to removing a threat. Or, at least that's the persona he publicly puts out. On the inside, hes got a soft heart. He used to be a crook and tough in his younger days, with some connection to the great game. But he gave that all up to raise a daughter who was taken from the world far too soon.

Hes got a big soft spot when it comes to children, setting up an orphanage that he keeps well maintained and funded with his less then legal enterprises, and became a monster hunter out of a sense of duty to protect the people of London from both monsters and people who'd use them. At his core, he's a grieving father looking to avenge his daughter but also not lose the parts of himself she would have recognized.

It’s not actually a cloak. It makes you invisible, sure, but it also distorts the world around you so that anyone looking at you sees you wearing something anyways, and therefore the visibility is quite high. What it most certainly is, however, is my submission for @neathyfashioncoalition ‘s prompt! After all, what screams Parabolan Elegance more than the landscape itself?

Denizens of the Neath, the polls are in! And honeyed roses, are they fascinating! Of the two polls for favorite Neath faction, our winners are such!

Rubbery Men technically won the first and second poll with 22%

and the Bohemians barely eeked out a win over the urchins with 19%!

A point of clarification: though they may have undisputed victory against the other factions, the rubbery men did technically tie with "the other list/ WHAT men?/ not a delicious friend" option of their poll

But of course, the winners aren't what you came here for, you know in your heart of hearts which faction is most full of intrigue, and you know equally well that the other crooks and hoodlums of the Neath are, of course, allowed their incorrect opinions by the grace of the Bazaar.

So let us speak instead of that which brings us together in horrified fascination and pitying glee faster than a fresh batch of rubbery lumps: the losers bracket!!

In a piteous 3rd from last, with 0.8%: University- Summerset!

Not sure what exactly they're doing so much worse than Benthic (5.8), but I'm sure the dean will be having words with the staff about this.

In an unfortunate penultimate with 0.7%: Society!

To anyone paying attention, not too surprising an outcome, those Society tend to come off as a tad stuffed shirt. And besides! if exclusivity is your entire deal, an exclusive favorance makes sense.

And finally! Last and certainly least with a deserved 0%: Constables!

Maybe it's the start in prison, maybe it's the rampant lawbreaking amongst the denizens of the Neath, whatever the cause, you heard it here delicious friends: Fallen London says ACAB!

Formally introducing my evil old woman, Lady Geneviève "V" Blackwell, the Frenetic Impresario! A theatre director who's absolutely obsessed with putting on the most perfect performances of shows that should not be performed, whether that be for Ministry of Public Decency reasons or for "this show drives everyone who sees it mad" reasons. Morality will always come second to art, for her.

Simultaneously terrifyingly intense as far as her work is concerned, and also the type to hide in the stage curtains and sulk if people seem to merely like the shows she directs. Or walk laps around her theatre in the dead of night while seething to herself about how no one understands her vision.
