bitterness is what i felt,
seeing her walking down the aisle
while you wait for her to arrive
my heart was brokenย
that's supposed to be me
the one you said you'd marry
my tears streamed down my cheeks
maybe, first love never lasts
back then your smile,
was always been mine
your kiss and touch,
it lingers me so much
i wish this moment would last
don't take this away so fast
you saved my heart
but you tore it apart
you want me in your side
but you need her in your life
now i am left, alone and crying
forgetting and unloving you, i am trying
but you made me believe that there's forever
now I am left with nothing and sober

THE LEGEND OF TABON CAVE
by Rowela Elaine Vizon
The skies were dark, heavy rain fell that night, and she was alone in the forest near the sea. She was terrified as she repeatedly heard the loud sound of thunder. She's lost, and she doesn't want to be here. She is terrified of thunderstorms, it is cold, and she is hungry. She's been running and hiding in this forest for two days and she is starting to lose hope. Her knees are trembling, and her eyelids are gradually closing until she is no longer breathing.
Tabitha is a girl who grew up in this faraway and peaceable neighborhood. She is stunning, and she has the same nose, lips, and eyes as her father. Her mother, on the other hand, dislikes her having her father's features because it reminds her of the tragic past she experienced every time she sees Tabitha. Her mother was raped and was forced to raise Tabitha against her will. One day, while her mother was at a nearby convenience store working, Tabitha was left home alone.Tabitha has been taking care of the house chores whenever her mother leaves for work. She enjoys cleaning up because she thinks it is a way for her to make up for her mother's sacrifices.
She was only ten years old at the time and knew nothing. When her mother came home from work angry. Tabitha approached her to ask some questions of what had happened, but her mother ignored her and went straight to their room. She shuts the door, and Tabitha begins to cry out of curiosity and shock. She continues to sob while standing next to the room, unsure of what is happening. She asks her mother, "Mama, what happened?" while she was crying. She waits for her mother's response while remaining silent. After waiting for five minutes, her mother opened the door and told her to stop sobbing, "I'm sorry, I'm just tired. I promise this won't happen again." Despite the fact that she dislikes Tabitha's features due to her past, she still cares for her.
Her mother broke her promise, every time she comes home from work, she is angry and refuses to speak to Tabitha as if she has committed a great sin against her, this scenario repeated itself until one day, her mother burned her with hot coins, leaving her clueless. She cried out, begging her mother to stop, when the hot coins touched her soft and white skin. Her mother was unsatisfied and continued to press hot coins against her soft and white skin. The coins have left a scar on her skin. Her mother stopped and left the house after the third hot coin burned her. Tabitha cries all night because she is in pain. She had fallen asleep and it was morning because she had been crying so much. She had no idea if his mother had returned home or what time she had returned. When she woke up, it was noon, his mother wasn't there, and because it was summer break, she just did the housework, showered, and cleaned her wound; even at such a young age, she knew how to care for herself. Her mother has never bothered to ask or speak to her since knowing that she can care for herself. Whenever her mother got home, she either beat Tabitha with a reed broom or burned her with hot coins. Tabitha tries to understand her mother as a child. But when the time came for her to become a young woman, she made the decision to leave. She managed to escape on a calm Saturday night out of fear that her mother would return from work and burn her with hot coins once more.
She is so traumatized that every time she sees her mother, flashbacks of the first time she was burned by hot coins occur. She was running away from home when it suddenly began to rain heavily, and she had no idea where she was supposed to go. After a long run, she eventually found herself in a forest close to the beach. She has no idea where she is or how to get out of here. She stays in the forest without food because she is afraid of going back. It's been two days now.The skies were dark, heavy rain fell that night, and she was alone in the forest near the sea. She was terrified as she repeatedly heard the loud sound of thunder. She's lost, and she doesn't want to be here. She is terrified of thunderstorms, it is cold, and she is hungry. She's been running and hiding in this forest for two days and she is starting to lose hope to escape in this forest. She is now weak and unable to walk. She remains lying down, slowly closing her eyes peacefully.
Her mother never tracks her down; she is unconcerned about Tabitha. Her mother has gotten older over time. Years ago, Tabitha's mother saw her father on the night she had flashbacks to her most tragic experience. She is in pain, and the only way she knows how to get rid of it is to beat and burn Tabitha. She remembers everything every time she sees Tabitha, which is why she always beats and burns Tabitha. Someone discovered a cave where Tabitha lay before she died one day. Because the cave had not previously been discovered, the person who discovered it immediately informed the people. People were surprised and delighted, so they left right away. There are traces of yesterday in the cave, as if it happened a long time ago. One day, a man saw the cave while it was raining and needed to find shelter. The man has been traveling since the previous day and has nothing to eat or drink. He lost his strength due to exhaustion and hunger and ended up lying down inside the cave.
For hundreds of years, the cave was known as Tabon Cave because it was surrounded by trees before you could get there.Someone finds a man in a cave. An anthropologist from the National Museum of the Philippines, Robert B. Fox, discovered the man's bone, they called this tabon man.The tabon cave is now a tourist attraction due to its beautiful features. Some believe that it is Tabitha's cave because she is known for her scar, and others believe that you can see the shape of a peso in the cave. The cave is kept because it contains a story with a lesson.
