Charlie gasped, hand rising to cup at her mouth. “I think you might be the smartest person here! God, I’m such a ditz.”

“I just used to be very forgetful as well. Don’t worry about it boo. Wanna go down to the fire to check it out?” Angelique gazed over at the lit area.

He took a seat, sharing a quick smile with her before morphing his face into what resembled a grimace, motioning to passerby’s dramatically. “I am in pain, oh no!” He coughed, holding out a hand for a soda. He was parched. “A soda please. Need to keep that blood sugar up, in case.”

Angelique gave a small pout to the male before handing him the soda bottle. “It might just get serious. You should rest with me. Maybe just sit here and not do anything too strenuous.”

“uh uh,” he nodded, smirk on his face. “sounds painful. mind if i take a look? ‘might be able to fix it.”

Angelique looked at the boy suspiciously, “Uh.. Okay... I’m not sure what you’ll be able to do here..” She faked a wince as she tried to roll over, her lower back being held by her right hand. “It’s my lower back and right between my bra straps.”

“really?” theo laughed, not believing it for a second. he knew a liar when he saw one (probably cause he was one). “how’d ya hurt yourself, babe?”

“I was lifting things to and from my tent all day and pulled something. Guess I bit off a little more than I could chew.” She spoke meekly, trying not to give herself away to the male.

Charlie grumbled, her head lowering to the ground as she blinked slowly and came up with a battle plan. “Alright, I think I say it last around midday? I was talking to some people as they were setting up the fire!”

“Do you think it would be near the fire perhaps?” The brunette looked over at the other female, raising an eyebrow slightly.

“How are you expecting to do anything fun then? You can’t swim, you can’t prepare s’mores on your own, can’t play something dumb like ‘cops and robbers’…” He trailed off, a comic like expression entering his face that brightened, much like a light bulb was appearing above his head. “Actually, I think I’m feeling a bit of pain too.”

Angelique looked at the male, a small smile on her face. “Oh no, you should take a seat, maybe relax before it gets worse.” She smirked knowing he caught on to her little game of getting out of group activities. “Would you like a soda? Maybe an ice pack?” She went through her mini cooler, pulling out a pepsi bottle.

She said heavily, index fingers rubbing at her temples in frustration. “Thank you so much! I can’t believe I’ve misplaced it. It’s blue! And uhm, has little tiny sunflowers on it! It shouldn’t be difficult to track.”

“Okay.. Uhm, I’m not sure if I’ve seen it at all. When was the last time you saw it for sure?” Angelique was sorry she didn’t recognize the bag, but felt a little better that she could help the blonde.

Carter looked at her perplexed, on one hand he was worried but on the other he was suspicious. “You’re incapacitated for the evening I’d presume,” he hummed, playing along, “How can I help?”

“Well I think just not making me get up would be best. I wouldn’t want to inconvenience you, make you do any work.” Angelique waved her hand, trying to play it off as the female tried to feign injured.

“I honestly can say that my back is crippled so much that I can’t do any work.. Nope, can’t lift ice, can’t move more than three feet for food. I just can’t.” Angelique would hope that the others would sympathize for her and not make her do work, a plan she’d been hatching on the road.

“Amen sista. There’s no better feeling. What was todays workout?”

“You know what the best part about working out is? Going home.”

Angelique laughed at the male, her shoulders bouncing slightly with every laugh. “What a predicament you’re in. You sound like you need a stargazing buddy.”

“I’m freezing cold. But I need to go sit somewhere and see the stars. But I am afraid of being mauled by a bear. Help.”

“I haven’t seen a bag, I’m sorry.” Angelique shrugged her shoulders slightly before giving the girl a meek smile. “ I can help you look for it though, what color is it?”

“Anyone seen a small bag laying around?  I can’t believe it took me all of 6 seconds to lose something on this trip. You’d think being one with nature would make me more attuned to things like this!”

“I wasn’t aware  that you were going to complain so much.” She said with a slight attitude, tilting her head for emphasis.

“I wasn’t aware this place was going to be so loud.” Icarus whined, looking at the person, no more than a few feet ahead of him.

first off, really apologize for the first theme. everything went wrong and it looked shitty after like an hour of tinkering so now enjoy this new aesthetically pleasing theme *~/.\~* 

second off i’m a little tired because I’m a smol bean, so in the morning i’ll reply to all the starters and post.

third of all i just finished my plots page /plots so don’t be afraid to hit me up, or to nag me about sending out a small bio
