Ellis flew to Denver all by himself to visit his uncle Shawn and grandma and grandpa McLaughlin. It snowed the morning of his departure from Denver - first time this year.

First day of school at Lane Tech Academic Center as a 7th grader.

Ellis is headed out for a week at Owassipe Scout Camp for the second year in a row.

Ellis’s last day of sixth grade and last day at Edison Regional Gifted Center. Next fall he’ll be a seventh grader at Lane Tech Academic Center.

New bike! It looks a lot like the old bike, but it’s two sizes larger.

Last run of the week from the resort’s highest point at 12,000 feet to the base village at 9,000 feet. Ellis was a champ!

Three days of $ki $chool and Ellis has become a very accomplished skier. He now loves to “send it” over jumps.
