me? posting art of an obscure special interest? combined w/ dungeons and dragons, another special interest? it's more likely than you think
also using this as a post to find others who share the interest bc i want more friends to talk abt this with
took a bit of courage to post this bc i've been bullied for sharing what interests me before and normally i only talk abt this specific Obscure Series(tm) to very close friends, so uh, enjoy ig--

The last Dragonlord black & white version I did a redraw of an old piece of art. I really couldn’t decide what kind of story it should tell and made two versions of it.

Opinions on the hc of Marie Delancey getting all of her girlie advice from Ms. Medda and dresses from Pulitzer &or Kathrine perty please :)
I can tell you she wouldn't get anything from Pulitzer. There's no connection there that would ever get her that sort of attention from him. She works for him, she isn't close to him at all.
Though Marie would for SURE go to Medda. She's the one woman Marie really trusts when it comes to not actually judging her or talking down to her. Of course, she'd probably be nervous going to Medda, but there always comes a point where someone finds the courage to put that foot in the door and ask for help. Medda was more than willing to help Marie out when she finally found that courage.
Maybe, for a while, Marie would try on the dresses from the costumes that Medda had in her theater. She never got to keep them, but the amount of flamboyant feminine clothing was too much to turn down. After a while, it wouldn't come as a shock if Marie met some of the Bowreys. After all, she's been sneaking in back stage for a while (with Medda's permission now) to poke through the costumes. Who knows!
But, if anyone were to actually purchase clothing for her, it would likely be a gift. Something under the table so others don't find out for one reason or another. And, with some coaxing from Medda 'n the Bowreys, I can see Kathrine or maybe even Sarah passing something off to Marie. It would be hard to do considering neither are close to the Delancey, nor is Sarah that well off, but one of them would get her something.
A gentle gesture to let her know that she's not alone in the sea of boys.
