While I was thinking of shows that I have watched that got cancelled, this particular show came to mind because the show was originally renewed for a second season and was only cancelled due to covid -19, which makes the cancellation of this show even more frustrating!

One of my favorite shows that is experiencing some controversy right now is The Last Of Us. A lot of fans have been upset over the casting of certain characters such as one of the main protagonist Ellie and another main character Abby. This show has been adapted from a video game, so people have been complaining that the characters from the show don't look like their video game counterparts. This show helps me while working on this project by seeing how the show and actors deal with this hate.

One tip I am offering in my guide is to post regularly and often. posting regularly can help you build an audience because you regularly have content that is being produced. This also increases the chances of your content being seen by and audience and gathering engagement.

now that you've been working with the content of your content creators, what is content strategy? How will you use this in your Content Analysis Project?

Content strategy is a goal oriented approach to releasing content in a given space to effectively communicate and reach it's audience. I will use this to help me with my content analysis project by giving me an understanding on content strategy. It will allow me to look over my data and give me a better understanding of the data. this will allow me to more accurately understand the data I have collected and how it applies to the content creators I have chosen to research.

My audience will influence my design for the HTWG because I need to create a design that appeals to them. Since my audience consists of content creators interested in making dog-related content, I will incorporate elements that resonate with them. This includes using photos and posts of dogs as examples, integrating dog-themed accessories like paw prints, and selecting color schemes that align with the theme. These design choices will help engage my audience and make the guide more appealing and relevant.

what is your working definition of 'content strategy'?

My working definition of content strategy is: Goal oriented approach to releasing content in a given space to effectively communicate and reach it's audience. Based on what we have been learning in this class and what we have read in the chapters, this is the best definition I have come up with for content strategy. We have learned that it is important to have a target audience when posting content, but also that the content is effectively reaching it's audience through the space it is being published on.

how will your research question add to the ongoing conversation about content strategy?

Research Question: How do different types of posts (humorous, heartwarming, informative) influence the engagement on WeRateDogs, The Dogist, and DogsOfInstagram?

With this research question, I wanted to see what type of content gets the most engagement with users who like dog content. i think that this research question adds to the ongoing conversations about content strategy by analyzing what type of content is popular on different accounts and how they utilize this content. Analyzing this data will allow people to see if there is a certain type of content that does well on these types of pages, and if they utilize that type of content more then others to get engagement.

My research question will help me collect data by making sure I am collecting the right type of data I need to answer the research I want to conduct. Creating a research question allows you to analyze and collect specific data based on what you are researching. This makes collecting data and the research process easier. I will be able to make sure that while I am collecting data that the data I gather answers the reasearch question and id relevant to my research.
