huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while

concept for a tv show: a cute simple love story between an assistant and a chauffeur or bodyguard or whatever else rich people have and in the background the rich people are having the wildest telenovela level drama that we only catch glimpses of

why is wine seen as more sophisticated than beer? is it because french was a lingua franca (okay yes literally) and france a wine-producer? like they were the leaders in secular literature so now they get dibs on drinks? I guess it could be older. Romans and all. But I feel can't help but feel drawn to a certain explanatory principle, namely that attributing things to Romans is cringe.

I cannot put into words how much I Fucking Loathe the fact that when you search something on youtube now it will randomly intersperse blocks of "people also watched" and "for you" into the results. That's not what I searched for, youtube. I typed in a search query because I wanted to see search results, not random unrelated garbage you have placed in my way apparently to either inconvenience me or force me to scroll further for actual results. I despise your wretched little games and every time I see it I can only instantly close the tab as I am overcome with the urge to burn something down.

Story about a ragtag space crew who crashland on a new planet and have to pull together to survive. After multiple years, they're able to send out a distress signal and activate emergency systems to get themselves back into space, but something goes wrong and the rescue vessel doesn't arrive. They manage to find a way off-planet and into their own vessel which is still in orbit, right as a major disaster wipes out their camp planetside; as they leave orbit systems on their vessel start to fail, and it becomes clear that these were preinstalled failsafes. They're being sabotaged! What big secret have they uncovered, that The Company is so desperate to bury??

There isn't one. The Company gave them up for dead and only became aware of their survival when their distress systems called fro a rescue vessel. Now they're trying to wipe them out at a distance in a plausibly deniable way before they reach civilisation, because if it becomes known that people survived then they'll be owed almost a decade's worth of back pay as per their employment contracts, and that would reduce shareholder profits this quarter, which is of course unacceptable.
