Hoping everyone had a great weekend! It's been SO hot here 🕶. Fargo (North Dakota, USA) has some of the largest weather variations in the year. We routinely get to -45°F (-42°C) in the winter with the wind and in the summer 105°F (40°C) with humidity in the summer. Can you think of any other region like that?!

Anyway, as I tried to work on my garden today, the hot pebbles on the ground were burning my feet. I then stood on my small stool and the wood broke through!

All of this led me to decide that today is just too hot and prickly to be outside today 🌵 Remind me of this when I complain about a blizzard in a few months ha ha ha

Here's the last page in my first handmade art journal! 📖 I had taken a picture indoors then went outside to take a different one a few days later. I decided it didn't feel "finished" to me. ⁠ ⁠ Does that every happen to you?⁠ ⁠ Anyway, I whipped out my trusty #signo pen and threw in some white details. I feel like that's just what it needed. Today, I decided to do things differently.

After having an overworked social media day yesterday, I came to a few conclusions for my mental health.

Instead of making my usual exhaustive list of everything I have to do, I made a broader list encompassing everything I could focus on or prevent too! Sort of like how negative history taking is as important as positive symptoms that a patient gives!

I put reminders in coloured ink right on top and instead of reinforcing things with exclamation marks to emphasise on its importance, I put hearts to adorn the task with love. I feel better already 💕

Found special rainbow colours from my childhood and watercolours and pencils too!! Used the first to add some colour and happiness to my plan! Might try to paint a sunset today (I’ve never made a painting before).

Hopefully a calm and happy day is in becoming :)

PS- Found our yesterday that BuJo= Bullet Journaling. I might have been doing it all my life without realising it ☃️😆

I keeping seeing the most amazing art journals with pretty little findings on the pages, but I have no clue where to start. I mean, I guess I have step one, I have a blank journal! ⁠

Any great insta users (or blogs) I should follow? Looking for (beginner) travelers notebooker type people, making an actual buju with lists and calendars isn't something I keep up with well. ⁠
