Being an adult in this recession and being like wow I am totally "splurging" on 3 new sets of cotton underwear and 3 pairs of socks like whoaaaaa hold your horses duke of the land where's all this money gonna come from

The worst characters are the ones were you only get like three pieces of lore about them but the lore is so fascinating and hits your brain at just the right angle to have you behaving like a feral dog in front of your conspiracy theory cork board

for so many fucking people it is clear that their desire to spank their kids has absolutely nothing to do with teaching a child and absolutely everything to do with finding an excuse to harm children

just watched a video of a mom teaching her young autistic son the "safe hands" method when he began to get physically violent. and i don't know anything about this method or whether it works, but you can see in the video, that it seems to calm him down and stop the behavior. it's a montage that shows the progression of using this method, and it's very clear that he is becoming progressively calmer, and the violence stops.

and yet the notes are filled with people saying he should have been beaten, and i don't think these people understand how badly they are telling on themselves.

if you believe beating your children encourages positive behavior adjustments, then why are you still advocating beating this boy when the positive behavior adjustments are happening right in front of your eyes? he's learning. he's getting the message. it's working.

you just want to beat children.
