Thank you so much, dear! I'm sure that person wasn't ill-intentioned, but I do wish people were a bit more mindful about those things. I'm truly grateful for all the love and support I've gotten over here though, everyone has such amazing ocs and lore built up for them – it's been incredibly inspiring and I'm glad I got out of my shell and decided to make my own oc and share whatever lore or ideas I had for him 🖤

Everyone's been so nice and supportive and it's helped me overcome my fear of looking stupid online by making an oc and writing/sharing lore for them! It's all thanks to you that he's gotten this far 🫵

OKAY. I JUST WANT TO SAY! Regarding the whole knockoff Fjorn thing... I believe the intention of the person matters. Considering the concerned person didn't seek engagement or whatsoever but probs just wanted to stare at an attractive character makes me think: "Well... I can't blame them. Fjorn is hot." I think acting like it's an original character when it looks like a 1:1 copy of someone else's oc (while also never mentioning where you got your inspo from) is blergh. I think getting art comms with a knockoff version of someone else's oc is also!! weird. With that being said, I will let the matter rest. They haven't committed a crime, it's fine. We're not gonna witch hunt, we're not gonna do anything... and I will keep working on my blorbo! As sad as that makes me, I hold him dearly and wanna keep building up his lore and making gifs of him 🖤

i kinda agree with the other anon here. ocs from the same game are gonna end up having some overlap, i doubt it was on purpose (love your oc tho)

Thank you anon! Honestly though, if I didn't get 918247192 asks about the mods I used for Fjorn on every platform (tumblr, twitter, pinterest) I would believe it's all accidental. I'm gonna post the same two pics I included on the prev response, but this feels like more than just some overlap (+ consider they're both also oathbreaker paladins).

If you’re worried about the comm being stolen, maybe you could ask the artist to put his name somewhere in there? Lame idea but anything to prevent theft (also as someone who loves modding and have asked ppl what mods they use, I can’t imagine just…ripping off a tav like damn)

I want to continue answering mods questions because I know the majority of people out there just want to make use of those mods and give their character their own twist! But also deep down, I was like "damn one of those days... someone will just straight up copy him" annnd it happened lol. Fortunately the next comm I'm getting is pretty unique (as in - it's younger Fjorn with his mullet) but all the previous comms I got are kinda out there already. It's gonna be okay though! Even if I put a watermark or something, I realized people will edit those out so ;_;

In genuinely the politest way possible, half the male dark urges out there use the same head, hair and tattoo options - this seems like more of a coincidence unless they literally share the same name

I want to believe it's a coincidence, but the face and tattoo are both modded - not vanilla. And it's like... same tattoo & its color, same hair & its color + gray strands, same wrinkles, same earrings... idk, seems more than just a simple coincidence lol

I’m sorry Fjorn got his identity stolen. Tbh I’ve seen this happen a few times in this fandom and it’s so odd quite honestly. Fjorn was one of the first tavs I saw and the creativity you have pushed me to get involved in the community and the fact someone copied him so blatantly is so disheartening ♥️

Thank you so much anon ;_; I know his design isn't necessarily like the most creative/unique but I still put thought and care into designing him... Like you said though, this is pretty common in this fandom and I kinda half-expected this to happen with the amount of "what mods are you using" asks I got for him in the past two years, unfortunately. Using a copy of him in-game is one thing, but I feel like when you start getting art comms too... I don't know! I'm scared they'll claim the commissions I bought of Fjorn as theirs. They haven't posted about their knockoff Tav in a while though, so I'll try not to worry too much lol
