I’ve been thinking recently about all of the small ways that my anxiety disorder impacts my life.
The worst thing for me right now is how much harder it makes doing my research. I was stressing so hard for weeks about completing an experiment simply because it involved using a piece of equipment in someone else’s lab. My PI would ask where the data was and I would have to keep making excuses. “Oh the machine was booked all week.” “Oh the backlight isn’t working so I let them know they needed to change it.”
