do u ever think abt how like. if biotics are just manipulating the laws of physics in and on a specific target area. which is the canon explanation of it. then any person being trained to use biotics would also need to take at least a basic course in newtonian physics so they can understand what they’re doing, how it will impact their target, and how the effects will change with their environment

like a slam is just multiplying the force of gravity so the target smashes straight down with the same force as if they’d just dropped from a great height at normal gravity, so a slam on earth will have a higher magnitude than a slam of the same input effort on the moon cause the gravitational forces are different

i mean obv i’m not saying kaidan or jack or whoever could go teach an entire university-level physics course but they and other biotic characters would have at least enough of a grasp of it that they can apply “speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out”-style layman’s terms reasoning when figuring out what they need to do next (and maybe you hc they could, who knows, have fun)

like man…. i 100% understand why bioware didn’t include that in the game cause nobody picks up a shooter rpg so they can play Physics Class Simulator 2007 but damn. that would’ve been some fun flavor text at the very least
