We were watching the glass blowing competition show on netflix because it's really cool to see those talented artists do their thing...

But I will NEVER forgive the judges for eliminating an amazing artist who's concept was that plastic hamster tubes are actually dangerous for hamsters yet they are normalized in our society so they made a beautiful glass rendition of an endless loop of colorful hamster tubes as an expression of how we can be trapped by society in a loop of behavior that is normalized but actually killing us

And the judges were like "this isnt DEEP ENOUGH" because they dont care enough about hamsters to learn and interpret the artist's statement at the level it was meant for.

They literally saw the glass renditions of colorful tubes that represent suffering and being trapped in a glossy predesigned hell and went "this is too normal and isnt saying anything important actually" Fuck them!!!!

Anyways Gemma should have won and I'm so happy to see that she didn't let it stop her amazing concept and she continued with it outside of the time constraints of the show. Fuck yes Gemma

Hi, I realised I have this huge trigger in my paranoia and I wanted to float things to see if other people with psychosis have experienced this as well.

Basically i had a showing of some of my work at uni and I knew it wasnt that good. Like not even in a self depricating way, I know my skills are fairly good and I know when ive done a good job, and I knew this wasnt it. The feedback I got was very generic "Good job!" whereas other people got specific compliments and I got 0 questions. All indicators it was not good. Im fine with this, but as I tried to ask people for more accurate feedback I kept getting like "oh youre just anxious" and it really started getting to me because it felt like my Perception and my Reality was being questioned like it gets questioned when Im quite ill. And it really upset me, more so than if people just told me "Yeah no you need to improve it" because I've been without an episode for about two years, so I trust my mind, and people telling me I was too anxious or there was no problem was making me feel like people were doubting my understanding. I managed to corner my teacher and she did give me feedback and told me the truth which relieved me a lot, that I wasn't completely off base. It just really freaks me out when it happens and I wondered if it was just a me thing or this type of thing bothers other people too.

Yeah when people instinctively dismiss my every concern as being inherently irrational and caused by my mental health issues without investigating whether this is actually the case, that's deeply triggering. The way some people will use the fact that I'm diagnosed with schizophrenia to assume that I cannot possibly have real problems or serious concerns is infuriating. Like "oh I'm sure it's all in your head" is not a reassuring statement when we all have problems in real life too.

The Golden Dragons (Part 1)

Hoping and praying that the image quality does not get ruined, but yes this is part one on my au lore of the dragons. I haven't gotten to how the races' culture revolves around the dragons (tho I did explain it in an ask a while back), the behavior of the dragons, and finally (maybe) the outfit/armors. The lore on the golden stones would probably be a whole separate thing from the dragons, but I'm still working around it. Thank you for reading!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been like eons since I last posted. I got pretty busy with this semester for college. On the bright side, I was able to create tons of cool art, including this, an employee handbook for Joey Drew Studios ! I started this at the end of March for my graphic design 1 class final, and it took all throughout April to fully complete it ! So please enjoy : )
