closed  starter  for  @emervldroses​

𝐇𝐄  𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃  𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐒.   there  was  something  about  the  sterile  white  walls,   hostile  atmosphere  &   judging  eyes  that  unsettled  him  in  ways  he  couldn’t  entirely  explain.   maybe  it  reminded  him  too  much  of  visiting  his  parents  work,   sitting  in  the  waiting  area  with  the  awkward  tension  hanging  in  the  air.   but  whatever  it  was,   dustin  wasn’t  a  fan.   it  made  his  skin  crawl.   but  it  didn’t  help  when  the  man  working  refused  him,  instead  arguing  that  he  couldn’t  give  him  what  his  mother  asked  for.   was  he  about  to  leave  without  it  ?   no  way.   “  look,  sir,  with  all  due  respect –   this  is  bullshit.  can  you  please  just  hand  it  over  ?   i  really  need  it.  ”   his  mother  would  kill  him  if  he  left  empty  handed  —  or  worse,  storm  in  here  &  embarrass  him  in  front  of  everyone  regardless  of  her  good  intentions.

         𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐎𝐍𝐄  ,  𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖  𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃  𝐁𝐄  more  surprised  seeing  yet  another  doppelganger  of  his  boyfriend  but  he  honestly  couldn’t  remember  if  this  was  number  three  or  four  .  richie  couldn’t  help  but  overhear  the  conversation  ,  it’s  what  drew  him  to  look  over  and  eavesdrop  .   ❝  uh  ,  why  can’t  you  give  him  the  uh  . . . thing  ?? ❞

𝔹𝔼𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕃𝕐  𝕄𝔸ℝ𝕊ℍ  :​

@emervldroses​  richie  tozier  requested  a  closed  interaction  .

               ‘‘  who  raised  you  ?  ’’  her  voice  echoed  around  the  diner  ,  fingers  gripped  around  a  young  child’s  wrist  as  she  managed  to  stop  them  just  in  time  .  her  coffee  had  been  the  only  thing  she  was  looking  forward  to  at  the  moment  ,  a  lingering  emotion  of  annoyance  &  anger  written  on  her  face  .  ‘‘  this  is  a  diner  !  not  a  free  for  all  kids  joint  .  go  back  to  your  mother  &  tell  her  to  teach  you  some  manners  .  ’’  releasing  them  ,  she  turned  towards  her  company  with  a  simple  eye  roll  .  it  was  noted  by  anyone  around  that  beverly  was  obviously  not  herself  ,  but  only  a  few  were  aware  of  why  she  was  acting  in  such  a  nature  —-  although  those  people  didn’t  entirely  care  about  her  well  being  at  the  end  of  the  day  .  ‘‘  don’t  look  at  me  like  that  .  you  know  i’m  right  .  this  is  no  place  for  a  child  to  be  running  around  as  though  they  own  the  place  .  my  coffee  could  have  been  spilled  all  over  the  floor  or  on  them  ,  then  who  would’ve  been  in  trouble  ?  me  .  i’m  not  having  any  of  that  today  .  ’’  she  stated  ,  lifting  the  cup  to  her  lips  .

           𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄'𝐒 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐒  𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄  𝐈𝐍  𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓  𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑  𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐒  𝐁𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐘  𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓  with  the  child  running  pass  their  table  .  he  had  his  hands  in  his  lap  ,  a  mug  full  of  hot  cocoa  in  front  of  him  and  his  menu  still  laying  out  even  though  he  didn’t  need  it  .   ❝  like  what  ,  bevvie  ??  like  you  just  terrified  a  poor  child  ,  they’re  going  to  be  thinking  about  the  mean  redheaded  lady  from  the  diner  for  years  .  probably  scar  them  . ❞  richie  laughs  a  little  ,  he  lifts  his  hands  from  his  lap  to  stir  his  spoon  in  his  hot  cocoa  some  more  and  maybe  she  was  right  but  richie  always  had  a  soft  spot  for  kids  .   ❝  what’s  happening  today  then  ??  out  of  all  other  days  why  today  . . . why  would  a  kid  spilling  your  coffee  be  the  end  all  today  . ❞

ℂℍ𝔼ℝ𝕐𝕃  𝔹𝕃𝕆𝕊𝕊𝕆𝕄  :​

“ i’m certainly not going to say that he searched me it and asked me for one per say . but i could just sense it , think of it as my third eye of sorts . i have an eye for fashion and who am i to turn a blind eye on something like that ? especially when i wouldn’t be able to rest until i fix it . ” she explained , as if it were something that made the most sense in the world . it did to her and really , that’s all that mattered to cheryl . “ so , i don’t hear you necessarily telling me no so i’m going to take that as a yes you want this revival of your closet until you tell me otherwise . ”

           𝐈𝐓  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐓𝐎  𝐁𝐄  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃𝐒  𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓  𝐀𝐓  𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄  𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐓  𝐎𝐅  𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐘  ,  one  of  richie’s  best  friends  very  into  fashion  who  happened  to  look  a  lot  like  cheryl  .   ❝  tell  me  ,  what  is  it  with  red  heads  and  fashion  ??  they’re  always  looking  so  damn  good  and  wanting  to  be  fashion  designers  . ❞  richie  said  ,  he  lifts  his  hand  to  run  through  his  hair  before  sighing  softly  .   ❝  you’re  not  wrong  .  i  haven’t  directly  said  no  ,  yet  .  maybe  that’s  because  i’m  still  thinking  of  an  excuse  .  ❞

it was a relief to see that richie was alright , when everything that happened a few short weeks ago made everything so unsure . of course , if something had happened to richie , bill was sure he would’ve hurt something about it from eddie . “ nope , i’m free as a b-bird . where are you thinking ? ”

          𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐀𝐋𝐋  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐒  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄  ,  𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐄  𝐓𝐇𝐄  eeriness  of  the  town  ,  the  random  freak  storms  and  his  friends  not  remembering  everything  . . . it  kinda  felt  like  a  losers  vacation  .   ❝  bird  ??  you  know  who  likes  birds  ,  billy  ??  ❞  richie’s  grinning  ,  his  smug  features  becoming  apparent  as  he’s  looking  down  at  his  best  friend  with  a  clever  look  .   ❝  somewhere  with  sandwiches  and  chips  and  fries  and  hot  cocoa  .  ❞

he felt stupid , it was probably so so stupid ! it’s a lot of internalized issues that he couldn’t really speak to anyone about , mostly because there were things he was keeping from people . it was easy when he was in queens but this place almost felt isolating in a sense , there was no place for him to go to get away from his thoughts so he was forced to let them linger , nonstop . “ oh , yes ! i’m fine , sorry .  did i get any coffee on you ? ” he said with an apologetic smile as he started to clean it up . “ slipped right outta my hand. ”

          𝐈𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄  𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇  𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐄  𝐁𝐔𝐓  𝐇𝐄  𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖  𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓  ,  richie  had  learned  that  after  the  first  time  he  met  peter  and  tried  to  plant  one  on  him  .  he  leaned  down  ,  his  own  hand  starting  to  clean  up  his  mess  along  with  peter  and  couldn’t  help  the  curious  gaze  he  kept  giving  him  .   ❝  don’t  worry  about  it  ,  dude  .  you’re  fine  . ❞  richie  said  as  reassuring  as  he  possibly  could  ,  he  turned  around  and  tossed  away  the  dirty  napkins  before  asking  the  barista  if  he  could  get  another  drink  for  peter  .  when  he  was  finished  ,  he  took  the  seat  across  from  him  and  smiled  a  little  .   ❝  you  know  ,  you  look  just  like  him  .  i  can  tell  you  apart  now  but  you  still  do  .  ❞

𝔸ℝℂℍ𝕀𝔼  𝔸ℕ𝔻ℝ𝔼𝕎𝕊  :​

          𝙰𝚁𝙲𝙷𝙸𝙴   𝙰𝙽𝙳𝚁𝙴𝚆𝚂   𝙸𝚂   𝙿𝙻𝙰𝙶𝚄𝙴𝙳   𝙱𝚈   𝙸𝙽𝙲𝙴𝚂𝚂𝙰𝙽𝚃   𝙱𝙰𝙳   𝙻𝚄𝙲𝙺,  most  notably  found  in  his  clumsy  demeanor  and  absent-minded  attitude.  he’s  admittedly  not  the  first  person  you’d  expect  in  a  job  like  this  —  but  he’s  got  a  big  heart.  he  always  has.  he  cares  for  the  kids,  and  is  surely  entertaining  enough  to  keep  them  occupied.  in  some  ways,  it  makes  up  for  his  hastiness.  at  the  sound  of  chris’  voice,  archie  will  place  his  phone  on  the  kitchen  table,  moving  to  the  door  to  help  carry  things  in.  he  always  felt  bad  when  chris  brought  dinner  back,  never  wanting  to  impose  or  overstay.  he  appreciated  it  nonetheless.    “  hey  —  !  don’t  worry  about  it.  the  kids  are  already  asleep,  ”     archie  starts,  features  bright  in  reassurance,     “  thanks  for  bringing  dinner  —  you  seriously  didn’t  have  to.  ”

           𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍'𝐓  𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋  𝐅𝐎𝐑  𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒  𝐎𝐑  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘  𝐀𝐒  𝐎𝐅  𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘  ,  it  was  starting  to  become  really  hard  to  keep  his  positive  demeanor  but  at  times  that  was  prove  to  be  challenging  .  chris  smiles  whenever  he  sees  archie  coming  around  ,  then  nods  his  head  when  he  hears  the  kids  are  asleep  .   ❝  i  know  ,  i  didn’t  have  too  but  i  wanted  too  just  like  i  did  all  those  other  times  as  well  .  we’ve  been  over  this  before  ,  kid  .  there’s  a  separate  bag  for  you  to  bring  home  to  your  dad  .  come  sit  . ❞  chris  encourages  archie  ,  normally  after  he  arrives  back  from  work  he  likes  to  sit  have  a  drink  and  a  chat  with  archie  about  their  days  .

𝔸ℝℂℍ𝕀𝔼  𝔸ℕ𝔻ℝ𝔼𝕎𝕊  :​

          𝙸𝚃’𝚂   𝚂𝙾𝙼𝙴𝚃𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶   𝙷𝙴   𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃𝚂   𝚃𝙾   𝙳𝙾   𝚃𝙷𝙴   𝚁𝙴𝚂𝚃   𝙾𝙵   𝙷𝙸𝚂   𝙻𝙸𝙵𝙴,  he  reckons,  strings  strummed  gingerly  as  he  attempts  to  tune  the  crimson-colored  electric�� guitar.  it’s  the  one  thing  he  inherited  from  his  father,  and  there’s  a  particular  calm  found  in  playing  —  even  with  the  rush  and  fright  of  being  on  stage.  considering  his  friend’s  question,  he  looks  up,  taking  a  break  from  tuning.     “  i  dunno  —  maybe  weezer  ?  ”     he  suggests,  emerald  hues  turning  back  to  the  instrument.  there’s  no  doubt  he’s  riddled  with  indecision  —  half  a  session  could  almost  always  turn  into  debating  what  to  play.     “  or  maybe  some  beatles  ?  i  almost  have  eight  days  of  the  week  down,  but  i  dunno.  it’s  up  to  you,  rich.  ”

          𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐃𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐒  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓  𝐎𝐅  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑  ,  𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒  𝐇𝐄  wonders  where  his  father  is  now   .  he  thinks  about  his  beautiful  mother  ,  maggie  and  wishes  that  he  could  tell  her  all  the  wonderful  things  that  he’s  done  like  get  a  boyfriend  ,  a  job  and  friends  .   ❝  weezer  ??  i  could  do  weezer  .  you  wanna  sing  or  want  me  too  or  like  mesh  in  the  middle  ??  ❞  richie  asks  from  his  comfortable  seat  ,  behind  his  drum  set  and  glances  over  to  archie  .   ❝  beatles  ??  yeah  ,  i  could  do  either  .  maybe  good  ole  queen  .  ❞

               Only  a  few  of  her  friends  and  family  were  in  Twinrivers,  and  while  she  was  grateful  for  each  and  every  one  of  them,  she  missed  the  people  she  hadn’t  seen  yet.  Not  only  did  she  miss  them,  she  was  worried  about  them.  They  could  take  care  of  themselves,  and  she  knew  that,  but  she  still  couldn’t  help  but  worry.  She  tried  to  push  it  out  of  her  mind  for  a  little  bit,  though,  as  she  walked  into  Cozy  Corner  to  grab  a  quick  snack.  She’d  gotten  her  croissant  and  was  about  to  leave  when  a  familiar  voice  caused  her  to  stop  in  her  tracks.  “  Elena,  thank  God.  “  She  said  before  her  words  truly  sunk  in.  First  Bonnie  didn’t  remember  her,  and  now  Elena.  “  God,  not  you  too…  Uh,  do  you  remember  Caroline  and  Alaric?  They’re  my  parents.  I’m  Josie  Saltzman.  “

          𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐀  𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖  𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇  𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄  𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐘  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐒𝐇𝐄  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑  𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐄  young  girl  before  but  she  was  talking  like  she  knew  who  elena  was  .  she  was  mentioning  bonnie  and  caroline  ,  elena’s  best  friends  .  she  said  that  she  was  caroline  and  alaric’s  parents  but  caroline  and  alaric  were  never  together  ,  that  was  crazy  talk  and  caroline’s  a  vampire  .  ❝  how  do  you  know  my  friends  ??  and  care  ,  she  can’t  . . . not  my  caroline  ,  she  can’t  have  kids  . ❞  elena  wasn’t  about  to  expose  caroline  as  a  vampire  to  someone  she  didn’t  know  ,  she’d  never  met  this  girl  before  and  wouldn’t  betray  her  friendship  like  that  .

               Adam  pursed  his  lips  together,  trying  to  think  of  a  potential  reason  for  the  other  man’s  problem.  He  supposed  it  had  something  to  do  with  the  same  thing  that  brought  him  and  Barbara  back  from  the  dead.  “  Well,  I  guess  I  shouldn’t  be  surprised  by  anything  anymore.  Until  recently,  I  was  a  ghost.  “  He  shrugged,  as  if  that  was  a  normal  thing  to  say.

          𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐈𝐒𝐍'𝐓  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍  𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄  𝐈𝐅  𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐒  𝐈𝐍  𝐆𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒  ,  𝐇𝐄  𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓  𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄  𝐈𝐍  but  then  again  he  did  help  defeat  a  child  killing  clown  when  he  was  thirteen  then  again  when  he  was  forty  .  he  didn’t  know  whatever  the  fuck  pennywise  was  but  they  defeated  that  ,  maybe  ghosts  were  really  .  ❝  you  were  a  ghost  . . . like  casper  ??  ❞

               Karen’s  attention  quickly  shifted  when  she  heard  her  name  called,  and  she  took  a  few  steps  toward  the  counter  to  pick  up  her  drink.  She  was  already  sipping  on  it  when  she  came  back  to  the  male,  eyes  going  wide.  “  Monsters  aren’t  real,  silly.  “  She  laughed.

          𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍  𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃  𝐓𝐎  𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌  𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐊  ,  he  knew  it  was  only  moments  before  his  name  would  get  called  and  he  was  getting  a  little  impatient  .  he  laughs  whenever  he  hears  what  karen  says  next  .   ❝  no  ,  there’s  a  drink  named  monster  .  it’s  like  an  energy  drink  .  ❞

                       𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆   𝒘𝒂𝒔  𝒂  𝒍𝒐𝒕  𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕   mike  knew  he  had  apparently  missed  out  on.  one  of  those  things  was  something  very  ｉｍｐｏｒｔａｎｔ  to  his  friend  and  he  mentally  curses  𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅  for  not  being  able  to  be  there  for  richie.  there’s  a  𝓈𝓂𝒾𝓁𝑒  on  his  face  as  his  hand  falls  to  the  other’s  ｓｈｏｕｌｄｅｒ,  giving  him  an  𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆  squeeze.   ❛  i’m  happy  for  you,  man.  you  𝒹𝑒𝓈𝑒𝓇𝓋𝑒  to  be  happy  with  the  person  you  love.  ❜  and  mike  meant  ｅｖｅｒｙ  word.  he  loved  both  eddie  and  richie  so  seeing  them  𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑  caused  pure  joy.  ❛  just  don’t  make  me  the  𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓇𝒹 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝑒𝓁.  ❜  a  laugh  exits  his  lips  to  ａｌｌｏｗ  the  other  to  know  he  was  𝐉𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆.

          𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓  𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑  𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏  ,  𝐇𝐄  𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓  𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐍'𝐓  𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄  yet  ,  he  told  ben  but  that  was  about  it  .  whenever  him  and  mike  got  together  ,  richie  couldn’t  hide  it  anymore  and  the  words  came  flooding  out  of  his  mouth  .  richie  couldn’t  hide  the  fact  that  he  was  overjoyed  with  excitement  about  the  recent  development  in  his  life  .  ❝  thanks  ,  mike  .  it  means  a  lot  .  ❞  it  did  mean  a  lot  ,  richie  had  lost  that  life  with  eddie  once  before  but  now  he  had  another  chance  at  it  .  ❝  oh  hell  no  .  i  think  it’s  the  hanscom’s  that  you  should  be  worried  about  being  the  third  wheel  to  . ❞

ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴡᴇʀᴇ ꜰᴇᴡ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ᴊᴇss ᴋɴᴇᴡ ᴡʜᴏ ᴍᴀᴛᴄʜᴇᴅ ʜᴇʀ ᴋɴᴀᴄᴋ ꜰᴏʀ ᴇɴᴛʜᴜsɪᴀsᴍ. and  chris  was  one  of  them.  typically  she  was  the  sunshine  to  most  people’s  rainy  days,  but  with  chris  she  was  a  complement  to  his  rainbow.  both  were  so  good-natured  and  upbeat  that  it  was  hard  not  to  gravitate  towards  becoming  great  friends  when  they  met.  with  an  exaggerated  gasp,  jess’s  eyes  moved  to  madame  mayor’s  plate.  "oh  no!  that  just  can’t  do.  there’s  just  no  surviving  without  cookies!“  jess’s  voice  raising  to  express  fake  concern.  "we’ll  have  to  help  her  right  away!”  having  already  hid  a  party  decorated  box  full  of  cookies  under  the  table,  jess  started  on  the  ‘adventure’  she  had  planned  to  save  the  day.  "luckily  for  madam  mayor,  i  made  extra!  but  where  did  they  go?”  moving  to  and  fro,  pretending  she  was  looking  for  them.  “we’ll  have  to  find  them  so  the  madame  can  enjoy  some  yummy  cookies  too.”

          𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐓𝐖𝐎  𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐁𝐎𝐖𝐒  ,  𝐈𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒  𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐄  𝐓𝐎  𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃  𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄  𝐖𝐇𝐎  𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓  look  at  chris  strangely  whenever  he  was  acting  like  himself  .  jess  was  good  company  for  the  kids  to  be  around  too  .  chris  wanted  them  to  have  a  female  influence  in  their  lives  ,  even  though  they  did  still  have  a  mother  ,  of  course  .  it  had  been  a  year  ,  part  of  chris  knew  he  would  never  stop  looking  for  ann  but  another  part  thought  maybe  it  was  time  to  move  on  .   ❝  but  these  cookies  ,  they  must  be  chocolate  chip  ,  how  would  someone  survive  without  ??  ❞  chris  shouted  in  an  exaggerated  upbeat  children's  voice  that  he  occasionally  used  around  the  kids  to  get  them  excited  .  chris’  eyebrows  cross  whenever  he  sees  jess’  hands  move  under  the  table  ,  he’s  curious  what  she’s  reaching  for  and  then  sees  the  box  of  cookies  which  leslie  just  lights  up  at  .  what  three  year  old  girl  wouldn’t  ??   ❝  oh  i  wonder  if  the  town  sheriff  and  village  princess  would  like  a  cookie  ??  ❞  chris  said  ,  he  exchanged  a  look  with  jess and  watched  as  his  two  children  got  excited  over  the  idea  of  cookies  .  town  sheriff  and  village  princess  ,  his  children  .

𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕆ℕ𝕀ℂ𝔸  𝕃𝕆𝔻𝔾𝔼  :​

                there  is  a  moment  of  hesitation  as  veronica  lets  her  company  take  hold  of  her  drink  ,  shooing  them  off  as  she  stepped  closer  to  the  female  .  she  was  beautiful  ,  no  need  to  deny  that  but  also  new  to  the  many  faces  that  veronica  had  witnessed  since  waking  up  in  twinrivers  .  made  her  believe  that  the  town  wasn’t  entirely  piled  with  horrid  people  ,  at  least  some  were  nice  to  look  at  .  arms  cross  over  her  stomach  ,  manicured  nails  glowing  under  the  flashing  lights  from  the  dance  floor  behind  her  as  she  tries  to  ignore  the  sticky  nature  of  her  shoes  as  the  drink  that  had  previously  spilled  began  to  dry  .  ‘‘  well  i  certainly  hope  this  friend  of  yours  is  intriguing  .  ’’  she  muttered  ,  resting  herself  against  the  bar  next  to  the  woman  .  ‘‘  i  mean  ,  i  would  have  no  other  choice  but  to  read  you  right  here  if  you’re  insulting  me  .  ’’  she  didn’t  want  to  ,  not  to  someone  that  was  pretty  enough  to  be  considered  her  friend  .  ‘‘  veronica  lodge  .  ’’

          𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒  𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃  𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐀  𝐎𝐅  𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓  𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄  𝐀𝐓  a  normal  college  life  was  like  .  this  seemed  like  the  kind  of  place  where  college  kids  would  go  for  fun  ,  the  bright  lights  ,  the  short  skirts  and  the  loud  music  .  all  of  it  seemed  so  childish  but  fun  at  the  same  time  .   ❝  she’s  very  intriguing  and  gorgeous  all  of  which  i  see  you  are  . ❞  elena  said  ,  she  turned  her  body  in  seat  and  faced   the  girl  properly  .  elena’s  eyes  got  caught  on  her  nails  which  the  lights  start  to  hit  at  a  perfect  angle  ,  she  shook  her  head  when  the  girl  asked  if  she  was  insulting  her  and  smiled  upon  hearing  her  name  .    ❝  elena  gilbert  . ❞
