I got my new head shot in the new Directors suit today at 5 pm! My make up had been on for 12 hours and 4 sets of tears (the happiest tears of my life). Thank you to my leaders for pouring belief into me even before I believed in me, and to the people that I've met this year. The final stretch to leadership begins now! I was not raised on hope and faith. I was raised on "Work your ass off because there are no shortcuts or favors in life. We have all been victims." My first introduction to hope and faith came almost 2 years ago through friends in AA. My second experience with hope and faith came shortly after with Mary Kay. Change takes hard work - not a lot of time, not just support from others - but deliberate, conscious effort directed toward something exact, something specific, something different. Set your target as nothing and you will hit nothing every time no matter how "hard" you work.
