We all agreed on basing our Gas station in America and in the 1950s period. We want to create a chemical war scene happening at our gas station. I did some more research and mood boards on what was happening in the 50s time period and also what was popular in the architectural design, motor design and the media. I explored the cars, fuel costs, pump design, the media,politics, license plates, signs and the gas stations themselves.

A few mood boards I did up to pitch to my group about the set design project. We got the theme of Dystopia and I am exploring different types of petrol stations and possibly the aftermath of warfare as war shows very heavy elements of dystopia. I will discuss these with my group members and see what they think about it.
