I made this au in 2019 cause Ein was my fave and I hated the way he was written. I revamped it to something a lil closer to the og phoenix drop, while keeping the things i liked about the au.

To add, i know they’re not canon siblings- but back then I believed they were and (in the au) i feel like it gives Aph good motivation to adopt him into her family.

Obsessed with your characterization of Marbles. She’s the weird kid representation we deserve.

Kind of makes me curious what her relationship with Sapphire is like. Has she declined the weirdness immunity that one would expect an older sibling to have? Or is this a classic case of “eldest child loves their younger sibling very much but can’t figure out how to relate to or communicate with them in any meaningful capacity”?

Their relationship was rocky when they were younger because of their age difference and different tastes, but after moving in with her Sapphire started to pick up on and engage with Marbles' quirks. Sapphire doesn't really understand a lot of what Marbles talks about but she knows it makes her sister happy when she can finish one of her quotes. And Saph ends up turning into a bit of a nerd herself
