sam: really fancy parties.

yeah she's a down to earth/loves nature/athlesiure type girl but secretly she gets a kick out of dressing up nice and going out. she's moreso elegant than extravagant but she's definitely a sucker for whatever bougie dinners emily hosts whenever she plans them.

mike: britney spears and/or katy perry.

those two have been with him since the beginning, the highs and the lows. he loves "birthday" by katy the best and when he had an ipod britney's albums were the first things downloaded. he is terrified of jess finding this out because she would flame his ass.

josh: candy crush.

usually he's pretty anti-phone, preferring to watch movies or, y'know, have human interaction. but put that stupid game in front of him and he won't come up for air until he's passed 50 levels minimum.

it's not even fully to fall asleep she's just really into the elaborate videos where they got light sticks and dry ice and a binural mic. ooh, or the "pov: doing your makeup" ones.

there's just something about the drama and how everybody speaks their mind and stands on business constantly that intrigues him. he nurses it in secret like a drug addict.

chris and beth: crappy chocolate candy.

it's all ew and grossed out faces and the two of them patting each other on the back for "having superior taste" until halloween rolls around. they used to be the most ruthless candy traders ever. it's actually a problem, they go overboard and feel super sick the next day.

em and ash: cheesy romance novels.

they don't always wanna be reading the most mentally-stimulating, 700 page books with deep messages, ok? emily's observant ass has definitely caught ashley holding a book with some corny cover and title, but they just lock eyes, share a look of mutual understanding, and go on their way.

OK ACTUALLY i dont know, i feel like my girl is pretty shameless when it comes to most things people would consider guilty pleasures. it's canon she's got all those pictures of mike around her room but imagine she just had a shoebox under her bed full of them. ok no but seriously i could see her secretly being a fandom girlie maybe (she runs a one direction fan account).

As we all know, Until Dawn's actors are much older than the characters that they portray, so for the sake of fun, I decided to find pictures of the actors at the correct or closest possible ages as their characters are in the game. I think I did all the math right, but feel free to correct anything I may have gotten wrong.

Rami Malek, aged 23, as Andy in Gilmore Girls. Josh is 20, Rami was 34.

Brett Dalton, aged 24, as Dr. Kurt Taylor in Nurses. Mike is 19, Brett was 32.

Noah Fleiss, aged 20, as Chat in Evergreen. Chris is 19, Noah was 31.

Jordan Fisher, aged 18, as Jacob in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Matt is 18, Jordan was 21.

Hayden Panettiere, aged 19, as Jane Lawrence in Fireflies in the Garden. Sam is 19, Hayden was 26.

hi, i'm doing a lot of things irl so i haven't really posted or updated anything

ashley

always wears PJs to bed, has seasonal sets and would rather stay up to wait until the laundry is finished than wear a set that doesn't match the season

beth

sleeps with blackout curtains, earplugs and a sleep mask because she's a light sleeper

chris

can't sleep without a podcast or audiobook playing

emily

sleeps with a nightlight (because she drinks an unholy amount of water before going to bed and gets up 3 to 4 times a night to pee)

hannah

sleeps surrounded by an army of stuffed animals

jess

lights scented candles half an hour before going to bed because she needs her room to smell nice

josh

sleeps with his socks on because he usually kicks his blanket off the bed and his feet get cold

matt

listens to white noise, ASMR or music to fall asleep

mike

falls asleep with the TV on

sam

can't go to sleep unless her dog is in her room
