fun fact: the reason otherkin are called otherkin is bc when these communities were first forming in the 90s, there were a bunch of elfkin people who made up the community. and so they derisively called anyone who WASN’T elfkin “otherkin”.

Got clocked by an elderly therian woman today. She complimented my wolf necklace, and I thanked her. Then she told me that she was a Fox. Not that she liked them, that she is one. And winked at me before leaving.

This woman had to be pushing 60. I live in a small town in the south. There is no welcome community here, and its honestly pretty shitty. But this elderly woman saw me, and knew what I was Immediately. It was nice. It was validating.

It made me feel less small to know there are others around me.

So when performing oral sex on a penis, we in english call that “sucking (name)’s dick” or “blowing (name)”. But we don’t call it “sucking (name)” or “blowing (name)‘s dick”. You don’t blow dick you only suck it, and you don’t suck a person you can only blow them. But since sucking and blowing are antonyms, the logic this carries that someone’s dick is the opposite of themselves.

But wait! I hear you say. You can “suck (name) off”… Yes, sure, but you can also “jerk (name) off”, yet you can neither “jerk (name)’s dick” nor “jerk (name)”. You also can “blow (name) off”, but this means abandonment, not a sex act. This means that not only is the penis the opposite of its owner, but the term “off” means the act is inverted, so blowing someone off roughly translates to “so far from interacting with someone that you are energetically fellating them”. I haven’t figured out what jerking someone off means yet, I’m guessing some weird protestant shit
