"Imperfection" (S07E04, Stardate 54129.4) is a fantastic episode for Seven as she is forced to face her own mortality and her legacy. The quiet conversations are the best parts, adn the episode as a whole is paced nearly perfectly. Kudos to Jeri Ryan for a wonderful performance.
Get inside Seven's mind with my episode poster...

I really like the investigation we get in "Repression" (S07E03, Stardate 54090.4) with Tuvok. The Maquis angle is both a nice acknowledgement of Voyager's past and a "too little, too late" situation with a very quick wrap up. Nicely acted by Russ and Mulgrew.
This episode brought us a Tuvok investigation. But it also brought us the holodeck 3d movie theater!

"Drive" (S07E02, Stardate 54058.6) has a lot going for it with the race, the relationship growth for Tom and B'Elanna, the mystery of the saboteur and Voyager's commitment to peace. But B'Elanna's "bad match" thoughts are a weak plot point and we really missed out on a Voyager wedding ceremony.
My episode poster for features the flight suits from the Delta Flyer flight drew and the Flyer herself.

"Unimatrix Zero, part II" (S07E01, Stardate 54014.4) asks a lot to ignore the plot holes of infiltrating the Borg collective. We won't get to see any real lasting effects of the trauma of being violated (especially Tuvok). The solution is inspired, and suitably saddening, resetting the Borg back to one.
My episode poster for is a mirror image of the first part, but featuring the Borg Queen who has no signal into the Unimatrix

"The Haunting of Deck Twelve" (S06E25, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a fun departure from the standard Voyager narrative, with Neelix filling the role of narrator and (potentially unreliable) guide for the Borg children. The hour flies by and really leans into the ghost story atmosphere to great effect.
For this poster I went a little more conceptual. The campfire throwing a reflection of the shape of Voyager in the air, giving vibes of a ghost stories movie poster.

"Unimatrix Zero" (S06E26, Stardate UNKNOWN) needed a lot more time to cook. There are massive leaps in logical consistency, character fidelity, and in-universe reasoning. The twist is pointless, and none of the emotional weight lands effectively. Mulgrew and Ryan salvage what they can from the fire.
Wrapping up the season I present my season finale poster. A simple concept showcasing the silhouette of Seven of Nine and a symbol for her connection to Unimatrix Zero.

We get a lot to think about in "Muse" (S06E24, Stardate 53918.0) as a bit of a throwback to classic trek with the "stranded Starfleet officer needs to fit in and not rock the boat too much" trope used to good effect. The call to use art to diffuse violence is one I support.
My episode poster is simple, taking the iconography of the play from the episode and placing it front and center.

"Lifeline" (S06E23, Stardate UNKNOWN) is great for The Doctor and for Picardo. Getting to spend some time in the Alpha Quadrant is a nice break, though getting there was a little choppy. The heart of the episode was well thought out and had a nice turn to it.
Doctor meet Doc Zimmerman in my episode poster. It is such an iconic image in the episode I really couldn't feature anything else for my poster.

There is a lot to like about "Live Fast and Prosper" (S06E22, Stardate 53849.2). Solid guest acting, a plot that drives along at a good pace, a fun story with stakes that are not too high, but does have gravity. And an ending that is neither rushed or a Voyager reset button special.
I really struggled to land on a design for my poster. I am not sure how I came to this idea but I really do like it.

"Fury" (S06E21, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a disappointment. Voyager returns a character for shock value and a paper thin 30-second justification at the tail end of the episode that betrays the growth Kes had through the three seasons she was on the series. Nevermind the temporal headaches this causes...
Evoking some imagery of TOS my episode poster for Fury celebrates (?) the return of Kes to Star Trek: Voyager.

"Good Shepherd" (S06E20, Stardate 53753.2) has a promising premise: the Captain takes some misfit crewmembers under her wing to help them along. The mission shows her just how rough this trip is on them. But the dark matter alien angle is shoehorned in and the ending is rushed. Only Janeway gets resolution.
I really struggled with what to do for this poster. I opted for the call for each crewman to respond to their first away mission, calling them to their new adventure.

In "Child's Play" (S06E19, Stardate UNKNOWN) we get a seemingly straightforward family reunion story that explores Seven's feelings of loss with a fourth act turn that delves into some heavy moral debate material. Both parts are okay, but need more time to breathe to have more impact.
Icheb takes center stage in my episode poster shining a light on his loss of innocence and his loss of his family.

"Ashes to Ashes" (S06E18, Stardate 53679.4) is 43 minutes of "you can't go home again." Bringing back a killed-offscreen character for an emotional gut punch is a Voyager trope, but they sell it this time. The life-after-death exploration is handled mostly well. The Borg kids B-plot is... eh.
With this poster I wanted to focus on the DNA of Lyndsay Ballard breaking down and no longer remaining human after her death and resurrection.

"Spirit Folk" (S06E17, Stardate UNKNOWN) takes the Holodeck malfunction trope and makes it into something that is entirely the crew's fault at every turn. And the lesson they learn is: we need to use the program less. And don't erase the Captain's boyfriend's memory.
It took a while but I finally settled on a design for my poster. I latched onto the look of the sign that hands over the pub door, with a little change...

"Memorial" (S06E16, Stardate UNKNOWN) presents a horrors of war/don't erase history story in an almost compelling manner. The setup is intriguing & appropriately high-concept sci-fi. But the resolution is rushed and should have been given much more time to breathe. So much trauma was simply glossed over.
I was never going to use any other image for my poster but the memorial in the episode itself.

Teenage Borg. It's a different take for sure in "Collective" (S06E15, Stardate UNKNOWN), and while the adolescents themselves leave a lot to be desired the setup is interesting. Seven is given a lot to work with & through, and Janeway gets a moral quandary to wrestle with.
For this poster I went really different and featured the adolescent Borg cube and Voyager as balloons!

"Virtuoso" (S06E14, Stardate 53556.4) is a paint by numbers "The Doctor explores his humanity and goes too far" episode. He gets passionate about something, finds someone excited about it divesin with reckless abandon & comes crawling back to Voyager when it blows up. Good music though.
The Doctor and his stack of holo recordings on sale in the mess hall. What better image for my episode poster?
