      It’s not rare for Nadine to talk to strangers, despite the advice that many are given. Still, sometimes people just catch her attention, especially with the abilities that she has. So maybe she shouldn’t go up and talk to this guy, many would take the lack of feeling as a bad sign, but she can’t help it. Once she’s decided that she’s going to talk to him, there’s no going back.

      “Okay, super duper weird thing.” What a great start. “You seem a little bit dead inside.” A pause. “Alright, that came out totally wrong, but uh, well… I don’t really know a better way to describe it.” She just keeps going. “Anyways, are you okay?”

HE  ,     THE EXACT OPPOSITE  .          approaching strangers out of the blue a nightmare come true  ,     the pinnacle of worst case scenarios  .         it has less to do with him disliking people     (  social interactions always running smoothly despite the seeming disconnect to the world he so often experiences  )  ,     and more with him feeling overwhelmed by the sheer  . . .     emotion they can project on him  .          clearly  ,     he is alone in that regard  .

FEATURES DARKEN INVOLUNTARILY  .          he has never been one to get angry with joshua  ,     not even at the most valid of times  .          blame the depressing feeling of only having each other in this world  .          or the tremendous fear of losing his younger brother after an unnecessary argument                 annoyance simply doesn’t cross aaron’s mind when it comes to him  .          until now  .          and maybe he is just too embarrassed to admit that things are bad  ,     out of control and sending him off into the unknown far too many times to count  ;     eyes burning in their sockets as fists are tightly pressed against them  ,     unable to look at josh’s face  .           ❝     just go  ,   dude  .          do me and yourself the fuckin’ favour and go  .     ❞           you don’t need to see this  ,     he thinks miserably to himself  ,     you shouldn’t have to see me like this  .          but he knows he cannot get his brother to leave  ,     not unless he is willing to pick a fight     (  one he is bound to lose  )  .

shoves him lightly ,  yet sure to convey urgency .    they’re caught up in drama that Eggsy would much rather avoid   --------------   still , he reasons with himself ,  caught at the brink of a bar brawl ,  angered patrons approaching the pair .   better to have company on a sinking ship ,  right    ?

they won't have long to placate the situation ,  and the pair know it .   Eggsy ,  once again ,  turns to his friend ,  speaking in hushed tones as the group continued its advance .  

❝      didn't you say you had superpowers    ?   telepathy or some shit    ?     telepath us outta this before it all goes tits up .      ❞

HE SHOULD’VE STAYED HOME  .          not the first time the thought has crossed his mind  ,     and certainly not an unreasonable one given the current circumstances  .          but alas  ,     time can’t be turned back and aaron sure as fuck can’t do more than to uselessly watch the group of men come closer  .          eggsy  ,     he realises with dreadful bitterness  ,     is the worst listener he’s ever encountered in his life  .
