Finished another pair of gloves last week, this time in dark brown leather from ItalianSkins and sewn up with some olive green silk thread that was a very lucky thrift store find. (It was in a mixed baggie and I didn't know it was silk until I got home!)
In my glove video I mentioned wanting to re-draw my pattern so the fingers are angled in more tightly, and so the thumb piece is longer, and I did that for these. The thumb fits much better, and the bases of the fingers are no longer too loose.
I also tried the straighter style of fourchettes, but didn't like them as much as the V shaped ones. I think the curved edges put a bit too much material onto the backs of the fingers and made them wrinklier. (Though this particular leather is not the stretchiest, so it may be better with a stretchier one.)
I did 3 rows of feather stitch on the back of the hand, since I'd seen that on an extant pair and thought it looked nice. I used a regular needle for that part because I was worried a leather needle would damage the thread.

Oh no! Instead of the Primarchs being strewn throughout the Galaxy, they were strewn throughout history! This is where I think they would end up.
The Emperor: Once he figured out that his sons were sent back in time, he figured out a way to contact younger him to tell him to search for his (their?) sons and convince them to join him. So Neoth, now knowing how future him ends up, starts a journey looking for his sons to ensure the fate of galaxy stays in his hands.
Lion El'Jonson: He would be a 12th Century CE Welsh knight.
Fulgrim: He would have landed In India during the Mauryn Dynasty in 268 BCE
Perturabo: He would have lived In Athens in 460 BCE
Jaghatai Khan: Mongolia in 1224 CE, raised by Genghis Khan
Leman Russ: 12th Century CE England
Rogal Dorn: He would be raised by the Inuit in Alaska around 1000 CE
Night Haunter: 15th Century CE Romania, raised by some count and inherited his castle after he died.
Sanguinius: 1920's Paris, France. He was some poor kid on the streets pickpocketing and drinking the blood of rats in alleyways until he met Fulgrim.
Ferrus Manus: Some poor factory kid in the 1800s during the industrial revolution
Angron: 147 CE Rome He was picked up by some gladiator master and thrown into the colosseum
Roboute Guilliman: 141 CE Rome, raised by Marcus Aurelias, he was the next in line to Marcus' throne.
Mortarion: The 17th century in England, he would eventually become a plague doctor
Magnus the Red: 2589 BCE Egypt. He was a Scholar who ended up traveling the world in search of knowledge.
Horus Lupercal: He lands in Kansas around 2004
Lorgar Aurelian: 8000 BCE Anatolia. He too became a scholar to travel the world in spiritual enlightenment.
Vulkan: He was picked up by a pirate in the 1600s and sailed the Atlantic Ocean
Corvus Corax: He was discovered by a member of the Laayaneidí (Yéil / raven) Moietie of the Tlingit in 1745 CE
Alpharius & Omegon: It's said Alpharius arrived in the 1700s before the American Revolution. Or maybe he came across the Atlantic on the Mayflower. Or maybe he arrived even earlier. No one knows when Omegon arrived or how Alpharius found him.
Other things that are important for this
The primarchs do in fact grow bigger than the average human still, they are not 9 feet+ tall, but they are tall. And they still grow fast, most mature in a year. Except for Horus, he is still tall (about 6'2), but his primarch stuff doesn't kick in until he gets shot during a protest.
They're all psykically connected. Whenever two (or more) Primarchs are in close proximity, they have this strange feeling. It can almost be described as deja vu. There is this buzzing and ringing sound in their ear, and a dull ache in their head that's almost unbearable. And it gets stronger and stronger the closer they get to each other.
The ones that have something interesting happen to them, like Magnus' eye, Sanguinius' wings, and Ferrus Manus' hands, don't have them, at least not yet.
Konrad, Magnus, and Sanguinius still have their psykic powers, Konrad and Sanguinius still have their visions, Magnus is still able to shapeshift, etc.
Where are they today, as in 2025?
Lion El'Jonson: A nurse at Aspirus Lake Hospital in Two Harbors, Minnesota. He is roomates with Leman Russ.
Fulgrim: Romania at Night Haunter's castle, a stop on his exploring the world.
Peturabo: Owns a company building military weapons, like tanks
Jaghatai Khan: Living a nomadic lifestyle in Mongolia
Leman Russ: Runs a wolf conservation sanctuary in Minnesota. Roommates with Lion El' Johnson.
Rogal Dorn: Chilling somewhere in Alaska
Night Haunter: Living in his castle in Romania
Sanguinius: At Night Haunter's castle in Romania, part of his journey searching for other vampires like him.
Ferrus Manus: Runs an iron mill
Angron: Running a restaurant in New York
Roboute Guilliman: Running a farm in New York
Mortarion: A research botanist
Magnus the Red: A mummy
Horus Lupercal: In Federal Prison
Lorgar Aurelian: An anthropologist and archeologist, currently exploring a tomb in Egypt
Vulkan: Owns a shipping business in Jamaica
Corvus Corax: Chilling in his bird sanctuary
Alpharius & Omegon: FBI, A.L.P.H.A.R.I.U.S. (American Legion Protecting Homeland Against Rare and Imminent Unknown Sources) (credits to @local--ccryptid for this one)
Who has met and how have they met?
Guilliman watched Angron fight in the colosseum.
After Guilliman became Emperor, Magnus and Lorgar had made their journeys to Rome (completely unrelated, Guilliman just happened to be emperor when they journeyed to Rome). After the gladiator fight which Angron had participated in, Guilliman had invited Magnus and Lorgar to dinner, and Magnus had requested that Angron join them. And then they spent the entire night conversing with each other.
Fulgrim was in Paris, France in the 1920's while he was exploring the world. He met Sanguinius while he was pickpocketing Fulgrim. Fulgrim ended up raising Sanguinius.
Leman Russ would explore England where he eventually ran into Lion El' Johnson, a knight for the Welsh king. Lion was sent to stop Leman and his people from attacking a village. Leman enjoyed the fight between him and Lion, so he constantly would come back and fight Lion constantly over the years.
Mortarion and Lion El' Jonson met during the plague, Lion was a nurse, helping sick and unstable people.
Night Haunter met Fulgrim and Sanguinius when Sanguinius went on a journey to find other people like him, as in vampires. His studies led him to Night Haunter's castle in Romania. except Night Haunter was a fake vampire.
Alpharius & Omegon met Horus Lupercal when he was a baby after his pod landed in Kansas. Alpharius was investigating but ultimately found nothing pointing to the existence of aliens on this small Kansas farm.
