Hello, everyone. 

I’m just popping in and giving everyone two things: a life update, and a reason why I will not be on Tumblr anymore. 

First things first: life update. 2017 was a horrid year for me, but I am determined to make 2018 better. I have finished two cosplays this month, one of them being Queen Amidala. Christmas was awesome, I got star wars dolls and a dragon necklace.  And there it a possibility that I might be bipolar.

And with that briefing over (and it was brief, as nothing happens in my life) I want to get into why Tumblr will not be a constant in my life anymore. 

I have always suffered from depression. I truly feel as though this site worsens it. The constant drama weakens my resolve to get better. The fighting, the name-calling. I joined this site for fandom, and that’s where it has spawned the worst of this (don’t even get me started on the state of the star wars fandom). 

I truly cannot handle it anymore. The cruelty of people here has reached an all-time. We send death threats to each other for shipping ships. We call each other names for not liking something.We laugh at other people’s pain. We drive people off of this website, which was supposed to connect people. And it drives me up the wall. 

I miss you guys. My mutuals who I always considered friends. Though my tumblr experience has been far from perfect, or even positive, you helped bring light into it. If you guys still wish to be apart of my life, I have an email and a skype (which I have to fix though).

i might be leaving Tumblr i've been here for five and a half years, with 3 or 4 different blogs and this site has always been bad, but it's getting worse and worse and worse. this website has become a raging fire of toxicity and cruelty, with rampant bullying as well. people seem to be tearing each other down, without even truly knowing the other. and i don't think i can take it anymore? i just can't have this negativity in my life. i'm taking a break from Tumblr. i don't know for sure yet if it will be permanent. maybe i'll be back when i'm in a better place. if you still wanna be in contact with me my insta is kelseyshmelsey and my cosplay insta is kelkaycreations.
