01. Disappear
02. Tired
03. She Plays Bass
One of the best indie-pop acts of the year for sure. Three acoustic songs here, alternated with a long interview.
Side-note: I love that Peanuts tshirt. I think I got a similar one in the 80s but no one would ever say ‘how cool’ cause it was a pretty common thing to wear at the times.
Oh, well.
Enjoy.

07. Ibi Dreams Of Pavement
Broken Social Scene are just one of my favourite bands from the last decade and one of the best canadian bands ever. They fully deserve to be included in the huge list of guests of George Stroumboulopoulos and they show it pretty well here.
They also play two brand new songs for the first time, and one of them is with Feist.
Enjoy.

EUGENIA POST MERIDIEM
Mad Hatter (Acoustic Session) - E M P T V Exclusive
Thrilled to announce this exclusive live performance given to E M P T V by the utterly brilliant Eugenia Post Meridiem i.e. my favourite and most exciting new act from my hometown Genova.
This young four-piece group has recently travelled to Berlin to record a breakthrough album called In Her Bones which is gonna be released later this year - and today Eugenia Fera, the prodigious singer-songwriter and guitarist in the band, is previewing this first taste from the album, an acoustic solo rendition of a song called Mad Hatter.
Enjoy and keep your ears on this band cause they got real potential.

CACAO
Lulù (Oimemì 6th Birthday)
Oimemì is the coolest shop in my hometown Genova. Basically a clothing store with a lot of tshirts and stuff made by the best designers and artists. Last month the guys celebrated the sixth birthday since their opening and Disorder Drama, the best indie collective-crew in town, brought in the shop this amazing band from Ravenna called Cacao for a trippy live session. This is a track from the show. Enjoy and if you ever find yourself in Genova go visit Oimemì.

PANDA BEAR
Inner Monologue (Sabbath Practice Space)
This is not properly a live but I just didn’t know where else to publish it. Oh, anyway. Noah Lennox has just shared this video while recording the guitar part of a song called Inner Monologue which will be part of his new album Buoys, out next month. The recording takes place in his own practice space and it’s, guess what?, trippy.
