YouTuber AU Update

Okay, I'll be posting (hopefully) the first of several drabbles pertaining to the YouTuber AU

So, here shall be all the stuff I discussed earlier just as a refresher for those interested! Information under the cut!

ALSO!! If you want tagged for each drabble, please let me know somehow!! Either reply or reblog or straight up send an ask/dm. I want to make sure these drabbles hit their target audience lol

Gaz gets convinced to start a gaming channel. It starts out with him, Soap, and Alex until Ghost joins.

Gaz's channel name is *drumroll*

Gaz Falls Down

It seems mildly boring, if I'm being honest, but it quickly becomes a running joke cause it seems every game that you can fall off the map or take fall damage, he manages to do it. It started out with Soap and Alex making fun of his lack of luck with helicopters, but then he realized he's good at finding fall damage/weird places to fall down in games.

Anyways, the drabbles will all be depicted as if I were describing the video to you. So like for example, I'll say something like "Alex's character figure slowly turns to look at him as Gaz wheezes with laughter, his head falling forward out of his camera's view."

Or even "The view zooms into Soap's character, the blank, haunted expression amplified as the Scot gasps for breath."

Sometimes, I'll describe how the video is suddenly just Gaz's face cam, or I'll add that their words are accentuated by captions or something.

Those aren't perfect sentences, but they should give y'all an idea of what to expect for the drabbles! They'll make more sense when I post the first one, I promise

Well, that's done. Uh... I don't think this was narratively very good tbh. Which is maybe a good thing because the ending didn't ruin me as much as I feared it would (didn't even drink all that much of that scotch).

Anyway, I'm just going to straight-up ignore that ending. There will be more Ghost/Soap fics from me and know that I'm a sucker for happy endings.

Also, yeah, The Silence in Between finale dropping sooooon. Here, have a random sentence:

The Palestinian liberation movement is not a racial movement with aggressive intentions against the Jews. It is not directed against the Jews. Its object is to destroy the state of Israel as a military, political and economic establishment that rests on aggression, expansion and organic connection with imperialist interests in our homeland.

It is against Zionism as an aggressive racial movement connected with imperialism, which has exploited the sufferings of the Jews as a stepping stone for the promotion of its interests and the interests of imperialism in this part of the world that possesses rich resources and provides a bridgehead into the countries of Africa and Asia. Israel has insisted on portraying our war against it as a racial war aiming at eliminating every Jewish citizen and throwing him into the sea. The purpose behind this is to mobilize all Jews for a life-or-death struggle. Consequently, a basic strategic line in our war with Israel must aim at unveiling this misrepresentation, addressing the exploited and misled Jewish masses and revealing the conflict between these masses’ interest in living peacefully and the interests of the Zionist movement and the forces controlling the state of Israel. It is this strategic line that will ensure for us the isolation of the fascist clique in Israel from all the forces of progress in the world. It will also ensure for us, with the growth of the armed struggle for liberation and clarification of its identity, the widening of the conflict existing objectively between Israel and the Zionist movement on the one hand and the millions of misled and exploited Jews on the other.

Just because it's a convenience for you doesn't mean it doesn't make the world more accessible to disabled people.

And idk. I think "You're poor because you go out to eat every night" completely ignores a very serious problem. Why are they going out too eat all the time? Do they not have time to cook? Is the idea of standing for 30 minutes to cook unbearable for them because of pain? Does their home have a functioning kitchen? Do they not have energy after working all day in blue collar work?

Convenience for abled people is accessibility for disabled (and low income) people.
