49th release from Eclectic Reactions Records and third corresponding to 2024 by Empty Files. “A Beginning To An End” is the band’s third album and debut on ER with a proposal as a sound artifact composed of two cuts of 25 minutes each. Two hypnotic passages oscillating from experimentation to minimalism, passing through drone, ambient or avantgarde, maintaining elegance, electronics and exquisite details as pillars through which the band builds an evocative solid work. Without any doubt one of the most interesting bands with the greatest personality on the Basque scene of the last decade, to confirm the masterclass that Empty Files possesses. “A Beginning To An End” is out now on cassette under a careful presentation and in a limited and numbered edition through Bandcamp.
