I’m sorry I’ve said it multiple times but I’m just going to say it again.

If you hate Lucemond because: incest, age gap and/or actors age gap but you like/don’t hate Daemyra or Luena then you’re only really hating them because it’s two men.

And I’m tiring of people denying that. Is it toxic? Yeah but 99.9% of ASOIAF ships are. But if they’re straight they get away with it.

And as I said in another post, Luena fanart does sometimes have sexual elements to it. And people hate Lucemond bc they use Elliot in drawings but they use Elliot in Luena drawings too. And Phoebe was an adult during filming. She is close to Ewan’s age. (And this is no hate to Luena, just pointing out the hypocrisy).

All this to say I’m tired of it. Lucemond gets hate with criticisms while other ships with those same “issues” don’t get criticism for. And those typically are straight ships. If you’re going to be a hypocrite maybe don’t make it obvious in your hypocrisy.

Imagine joining a space made for Lucemond shippers just to come in and attack them. Like I’m sorry why are we having a moral high ground when it comes to ships in this fandom.

Age gap? Yeah a lot of popular ships in this fandom has that and no one complains. Incest? You’re in the ASOIAF fandom, sorry not sorry. The actors age? Then condemn Luena. Phoebe was an adult with filming and if you have an issue with Lucemond bc Elliot wasn’t an adult then you should have a problem with Luena.

(Also side note: YES people do make NSFW artwork of Luena using show Luke. So let’s not say “well Luena is okay bc unlike Luemond they don’t use his face in sexual art”)

I don’t know why but I’ve always seen Aemond as someone would use “sweetheart” or “my love” when giving Luke a pet name. I don’t see it in many fics but when coming up with different fanfic ideas, those names just became a thing.

What kind of pet names do you see Lucemond giving each other?
