In a place I can call mine...
Today, yesterday, this week...
I’ve learned a lot, and now I need to express.
Reflect.
I collected my first NO.
My mind is a shampoo.
I need to unclutter.
My process of thought and concentration have been affected by this.
My health, my vision, my charisma... I can’t lose my spark.
Remember why you did it in the first place... Ultimately, for your happiness... because you think you are great at it, because it is an instrument for your future plans... which involve greatness for society, happiness to your soul... Your offering to God.
Ok, but now, really, reflect.
I do not think I did a great job in finance and I am pretty sure I barely passed my accounting test today. Very unlike me, but let’s see where I went wrong.
I did NOT ask for the right type of help and in a timely manner. LEARN how to distribute work. Organize and make things happen during your set up times. Work to your deadlines, be disciplined to your own deadlines.
Include breaks during your work hours. Adapt obviously. Listen to more music.
Also, stay longer with the problem. Try to finish more before starting other things.

Stop on the go
I’ll never forget the words of one of my professors at UofT: “Sometimes you have to take 2 steps back in order to take a step forward”
Although there is no stepping back for me right now, there is a need to stop and think. I am a big fan of celebrating art, and so, writing (with wine tonight) is how I think for a while...
Here is a quick poem:
Art to escape, to give the child a chance,
To express and remember,
That beauty is our motivation.
A purpose for happiness,
Thrilling and challenging,
To love and have passion,
That is no “millennial fashion”.
Courage and consciousness in concert,
Undoubtedly with God’s providence,
The journey is controlled,
Enjoyed and absorbed.

Autobiografia
Perla Lyonela - joya brava.
Sino que he decido ir mas allá…

Memory
I opened “Mail” - the actual application of Mail on Apple computers- which I always do by accident and always close without thinking. However, today I saw that there is a message I had sent to myself in second semester of grade 12 when I was rushing to apply to Trinity College at UofT. In the message was my little “short description” of a painting which was the task in the application. I read it and am glad that I had that way of thinking back then, and that I have lived these past 4 years like I wrote in my description.
As Bo Bennett said: "A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement". Since the day that we were struck by someone or an event that has given us inspiration, we have had a dream in life, waiting to be pursued. There is always an ideal of our happiness in our minds, and we try our best to make it as similar as it can possibly be in real life. In this image, the goal of making a painting that resembles the first one was clearly set, and achieved. The "highway" that we choose will be a major factor for the feeling of self-realization, and it is fundamental that the destination was of our pleasantness.
As grade twelve Canadian students, there are many factors that stress our life, and make us live with fear. We have the weight of our marks, having to decide what career we want, some of us have jobs and, on top of that, we have to maintain a balance with our friends and our social life. The fear we have is obvious; the fear to fail at the determined career we choose, or to disappoint our families. This image is a representation, and a reminder to follow the path we really want to live for, and not to decide based on other's impositions, or the money that the career promises to provide. The portrait could have been of any painting but, the person who decided to make a portrait, chose that specific painting. When we adopt a determined career, we will have chosen it because it calls on us certain fascination. Cause and effect. The cause is not always known, but it is based on our admirations, aspirations, and what makes us happy presently as well. In the image, a door is open behind the portrait, akin our lives after we have achieved an objective. It does not stop there, life will keep on giving challenges for us to become more intelligent and wise human beings, thus the door will always be open for more learning.
A story of a generation who is overwhelmed by a world that keeps asking more and more, always rising its standards for '"success", as well as having to decide at an early age the path we want our lives to take, is in fact, becoming real and present. The choice we make, at the end, should be based on our own beliefs and dreams, because if it does not make us happy, it will lead to a life of misery. The effect we have on the world, will depend directly on our cause, and how determined we were to achieve our supreme goal. However, the path for learning does not stop once the supreme ideal was reached, there is another door waiting for us, ready to defy us for good. This is the story of students who live for today, with a vision of tomorrow, open minded and striving for their own personal happiness.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
*makes a fierce zigzag entrance* *stops and stares at you with a serious face* GO GO GO…
Go shawty…
IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY!
WE’RE GONNA PARTY
LIKE IT’S YOUR BDAY IT we gon’ sip bacardi like it’s your birthday!
Choueeeeette!
Happy happy happy 22nd birthday!! I wish you the best, my bestie
22 years ago, you came into the world and had this “I’m number 8 ” fun attitude:
Although you act crazy at times, you show that you are BRAVE bc you stay true to yourself
And I hope you are happy to be the age of the duck
…If you still don’t feel 22, yell it a couple of times and I am sure you will be like this:
But then, we’ll have our favorite drink and you will be singing: “yeah eah eah I am 22!!”
And then you know singing the actual 22 song with all your lungs:
Anyway, I can’t wait for your letters and the daily report of you know what *wink wink*
LOVE YOU! And although I am not the cheesy type…
