Hatta's Tea Party Hi everyone! So Marissa Meyer recently put together a fan art contest for one of her books! I decided to try and enter and this was the result! Sorry I've been so inactive lately 😕 Anyway, it's from the book Heartless, which is AMAZING and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good fantasy read!

You did well, Jonghyun. Rest in Peace my angel. A piece I started in honor of Jongyun. I'm exhausted and sad tonight, and still a little shocked. I will finish tomorrow though because it turned it really well and I feel it's all I can do for him now 💖

I know I said I was going to try and do Huevember, but I just couldn't keep up with it after the first few days. I got so busy this November and it was stressing me out and I ended up giving up. I'm sorry guys, I'm disappointed in myself as an artist right now, for a lot of different reasons. I'm having a really tough time and need to get back into the swing of things again. School has really messed me up again and I keep pushing art to the side cuz I don't feel motivated enough a lot of the time. I'm going to try to do better though. It's the last month of the year, I need to somehow make it count.

Ok, I know I just finished Inktober, but I'd love to try Huevember. It's right up my ally and I'll try to keep up with it, but I'm going to do it more chill than with Inktober. I won't freak out if I miss a few days. I don't have enough practice to do it with digital art, so that's my goal for next year I guess. Does anyone else want to do it with me?

We made it through Inktober! Be proud! Look through all of your sketches and feel a sense of accomplishment, of satisfaction. It's alright if you didn't get to do all of them. You tried your best and it's better than not trying at all! If you did do all of them, wow. It was tough. But we managed! I'm so proud of you all who participated, and myself. It was a fantastic challenge and I gained a lot through it. Thank you for supporting me!

Inktober ~ Day 31 Mask Remember Happy Halloween! I wanted to do a Day of the Dead inspired piece for this one! I love the way it turned out too!

Inktober ~ Day 30 Found Bughead I really love Jughead and his character just developed so much. He was so lonely and lost, but then he was found by his friends and that transformation is really important.

Inktober ~ Day 28 Fall Falling into Autumn I was originally just drawing a guy in a sweater but then it turned into Dan 😁 I wanted to draw someone falling into leaves, so that it fit the prompt in more than one way. How can you have October without @danielhowell? He's so sweet and soft ❤

Inktober ~ Day 27 Climb Is it just a dream? I had so much fun with contrast in this one! It was my goal to make that add to the whole dreamlike fantasy illusion.

Inktober ~ Day 26 Squeak Bubble and Squeak This one is so cute and I really enjoyed it. I didn't want to do a mouse cuz I didn't feel like it was very creative, but then my sister mentioned doing something with bubbles (like bubbles and squeak) and I thought it'd be really cute! He just looks so happy.

Inktober ~ Day 25 Ship The Paper Boat I'm really upset because I wanted to draw a Victuuri pirate au for this but I could barely cram this in! I will still draw them soon though! Anyway, I was looking at pictures of paper boats and I feel like my soul has been cleansed! They're so beautiful and cute and simple and pure! Seriously, look up paper boat photography if you're having a bad day. They just look so cheerful and carefree! I really like this piece, actually and I hope you do too!
