ok so first things first... i'm not dead! a lot has happened in the past few months. i got a job, started my next semester of school, and am practicing for my driver's test! yayyy!

i also got a new phone and forgot to log into my tumblr account again, so i did forget a bit about this blog...

however, i'm back! i will be working to get my blog back up and running (basically posting all the submissions that have collected since i left...). most things will be untagged for now because since i've been inactive, i haven't had time to finish the tagging system... (but i will gradually add tags to everything...)

anyways, thank you all for the asks abt me and the blog! you're all very sweet! i'm still here and will be posting everything soon!

i've been mulling it over for a few days and i've decided to change my tagging system!

i'll update rules in a bit, but it's mainly because i keep flooding chara tags and such every time i post, which isn't quite what i want to do...

so! i'll add the new tagging system in my pinned once i get it sorted out! over the course of a few days, i'll get all of my previous posts under this tagging system as well!

when i first got into enstars, i never got izumi and koga mixed up. Maybe it's just that i draw a lot and mixing izumi and koga up seems impossible to me because their color palettes are literally opposite to each other (koga having yellow eyes and warm gray hair in contrast to izumi having blue eyes and cool gray hair) izumi is just so instinctively icy to me while koga is like fire so when i heard people mix them up often my brain went "????how???? They're literally the opposite of each other"

I was, however, wholeheartedly convinced that leo is the older brother of the aoi twins. I'm kinda still sad i was wrong about that even tho it's been so long ago

the way people complain about femstars interpretations of the enstars cast tells me more about the fandom's misogyny more than the actual artists that draw them. you're allowed to have a specific vision for a chara in your head, but if youre not willing to draw it, write about it, or comm an artist/writer yourself to do it, then stfu. most complaints I see about peoples art are just bodyshaming. You want chubby characters then draw them. I wanna see them, but its up to those who have the talent to make them and whining about it doesnt solve anything.

Himeru, nagisa, sora and tori nb headcanons are so important to me you don't even UNDERSTAND. I see a lot of transfem hcs, and sometimes transmasc hcs. Which like, good for y'all. But transneutral hcs are so hard to come by. And i'm holding on to these three characters for dear life btw.

You know what i'll go ahead and take izumi as transneutral as well. I'm sorry knightsP for kidnapping your fav pretty boy but they're only exclusively a pretty person to me from now on

I don't think I can even begin with jealousy on this one because it's also me being a petty bitch if you look at it. There's this person/friend (with lots of question marks) I have that really likes this one character, their whole personality is based about being their no.1 fan or whatever but it's gotten to the point that I feel uncomfortable talking to them about the character cuz (they're so posessive) unless it's praising them for being so dedicated. That character isn't in my top 10 really but I've kinda made a competition out of it. Like whenever I see a cute post about that character I always have to gush on it first so they could see me in the notes about it or on their dash and I know they'd get super annoyed with it because an oomf of mine is in their group chat and he always tells me that they're vaguing about me or was thinking about blocking me but can't because we're also moots on here

not a 2winkP but i hate seeing them get constantly reduced to caricatures. They're not just "uwu happy bois" and they're also not just "abused poor lil meow meows". If you cannot recognize them as complex characters and as separate individuals please shut up about them. It's always either sunshine and rainbows or depression and angst when it comes to these two and i'm tired of it

This is gonna be long but I just wanted to say it sorry if this is too controversial???

I hate when enstarries say they don't like kaoru/aira AND their main reason is "bc they're racist". I'm not saying that what kaoru and aira say to adonis isn't racist cos it is rather it's bc it feels like they're disregarding the actual issue. In the stories their racism isnt really even addressed in any regard after being said let alone condemned. People need to remember these are characters written by real people and it's clear that the writers are ignorant of the clear racism in these words and rather wrote it in as throw away comments. And people do talk about the mistreatment of adonis by the writers yet why are people who like kaoru/aira still shouted at bc "they're racist"? Shouldn't you be instead condemning the writers for clearly making racist jokes through these chatacters? It not only targets the fans of these characters unnecessarily, but it also makes it seem like every other character in the game is fine. For example, if you read other stories with adonis, it can really feel like he's being looked down upon by the other characters for being 'foreign' and clueless because of it. A lot of characters in enstars treat him as so and as someone who's also brown in a not predominately brown country its something you notice irl and its so alienating. Yes, some may say this isn't blatant racism but it feels like weird stereotypes and microaggressions yet nobody condemns those characters like they do kaoru/aira? It just feels silly.

Anyway anyway, I'm gonna go on a whim and say that aside from choosing his initial at the start— NONE OF THESE NAGISA CARDS CAME HOME TO ME BY MY CHOICE. Ibara is holding me at gunpoint to produce cospro at this point (except the twins apparently because I HAD TO WAIT TIL COSPRO'S WWYS SCOUT TO GET A HINATA 4 STAR)

I haaaate the way femstars artists draw tsumugi most of the time. Oh yes sure let's give her boobs but no body fat anywhere else! Fuck off and give her tummy.

Okay this might be an unpopular opinion but im so tired of people complaing about femstars tsumugi. theres like maybe 3 sorta popular artists who draw tsumugi curvy and people act like its a plague among men and that every single femstars artist draws every character the exact same way. and its like

1. Theres nothing wrong with a character being curvy. Like people act like a popular (if you can even call it that) headcanon for 1 character being curvy is the end of the world or that its oy okay with certain caveats but like. sometimes women are just curvy. sometimes they have big boob sometimes there small some women are fat some are skinny and theres nothing worng with that.

2. Theres so many interestjng femstars concepts out there. like ive scrolled through tags on various websites n theres so many interesting concepts on how certain characters would style their hair or what kinda outfits they would wear. like yeah theres sometimes common headcanons ( a random example being tsukasa having a bow in her hair in a clasical shojou like way ) but theres nothing wrong with that and if you have your own headcanon you can share it.

like all in all im not saying people have to enjoy femstars or all headcanons but its just so annoying when people complain constantly about something thats just not a problem. idk if this was a coherent thought. draw tsumugi big naturals or smthn rant over

i think leokasa is a better ship (or dynamic in general, doesn't have to be romantic) than izuleo.

Tsukasa looking up to leo. Leo turning out to be a completely different person than he expected. Tsukasa still sticking to leo and respecting him regardless of that and NOT ABANDONING HIM. leo being kinda insane after *vaguely gesturing to everyone that used him and then left him after he became useless*. Tsukasa not knowing anything about that but still urging leo to participate in knights with burning passion regardless of whatever happened in the past. Leo kinda hating tsukasa in the beginning but then becoming fond of him after seeing how much tsukasa loves knights. Just. Sometimes i think about the fact that leo probably looks at current tsukasa with all the knights juniors and is glad that tsukasa will never have to go through the same thing like himself ever.

Leokasa has so much developement and hope to it. But i don't see that in izuleo much? Yeah izuleo is nice because long history and undying loyalty and loving someone to the point of being willing to destroy everything around you for the one you love but MAN THAT'S HEAVY. It's also so weird to me how after them making up and promising to have a better future together, they somehow end up in the same codependent dynamic?? Leo used to be a genius famous composer and izumi was a nobody who relied on him for success. Leo relied on izumi being the only emotional support ever. This obviously sucked for the both of them. Now leo is still the same genius famous composer and izumi is still a nobody, but now it's overseas? I don't get it.

Izuleo would not be nearly as interesting to me if it wasn't for the fandoms endless love for it. Y'all really gave this ship so much more depth than canon ever did. I feel like the reason people latch onto this ship is because it's tragic and people love tragedies more but man i am not about that at all lol.

(Side note: i am never getting over leo going "i will strike down everyone for you until only the two of us are left. I'd be fine with it, but would you?" Sir there is an entire story where you nearly died doing that. How about you don't be fine with it???? With how popular leo is you'd think they'd give him some goddam therapy but no. Canon will never let him change)

Not enough Rei and Anzu interactions. I don’t even mean this in ship way, I mean just in general. I loved that part in Devils where Rei won over Ritsu by playing into Anzu’s love for her brother. I think it’s honestly very amusing that they both are extremely normal about their brothers
