This one took the life out of me, but I’d say it was worth it because I’m happy with how it turned out.

But for real, every part of the process was such a struggle from the pose to the freaking cobwebs (they are so much harder to draw than I expected:”)

Cendriane

Cendriane, the biggest and most beautiful city of the eladrin, was made of crystal spires. The city was built to allow it to exist in both Faerûn and the Feywild simultaneously.

In the Feywild, Cendriane was located in the center of a dark forest.

In Faerûn, Cendriane was located beside a mountain range, near an orc village.

Cendriane was the site of one of the most vicious battles between the eladrin and the drow, a battle that ultimately destroyed the city.

 At the height of Cendriane’s might and glory, the Witch of Fates appeared clad in the black of mourning to speak a dreadful prophecy against the city. It was said that the dreaded Zhudun was the brightest star in the sky the night Cendriane fell.

The city was abandoned shortly thereafter, except for its ruler, the eladrin vampire lord Kannoth. 

Not long after, the part of the city existing in Faerûn fell to ruin as well.

In the Feydark below Cendriane stood The Living Gate, a portal to the Far Realm.

Fey eladrin

The fey eladrin were the most powerful of the eladrin who adopted the Feywild as their home. Sometimes called noble eladrin, they were capable of changing their physical appearance and powers according to their mood, assuming characteristics of the seasons.

Their hair and skin colors changed to reflect their moods, which could each be identified to a particular season of the year. How frequently eladrin changed their appearance was an individual choice. Some eladrin spent their entire lives in the same season or followed the seasons of the place where they lived, while others could change as frequently as once per day.

 In an effect similar to the misty step spell, they could briefly step into the Feywild and shorten travel distances between two points, effectively instantly traveling over distances of up to 30 feet (9.1 meters). The abilities that fey eladrin possessed were dependent on the season towards which they had the most affinity.

Spring eladrin channeled the joy of the spring season to all creatures around them, rendering them temporarily friendly and reluctant to attack the eladrin. They were playful, fond of mischief and playing pranks on other creatures. They were often oblivious to the dangers of doing so.

In the summer state, which they entered when angered, eladrin became aggressive, vindictive, and furious. Summer eladrin invoked the fiery aggression of the summer season, instilling fear to the hearts of all creatures in their proximity. Unlike eladrin of other seasons, they did not have an innate ability to cast spells, instead relying on their great speed and physical strength.

Autumn eladrin called upon the feelings of sharing and goodwill from the autumn season, avoiding violence when possible and using their magic to heal and help. They assumed the role of conciliators, eager to resolve conflicts and to promote peace. They were also more compassionate and ready to help others and to alleviate their suffering.

In the winter state, eladrin became bitter and pensive. They often cried frozen tears and irradiated a feeling of gloom that could be felt like a cold wind.

Their cities displayed extraordinary feats of elven architecture, blending magic, nature, and structures into awe-inspiring landscapes, some of which were designed to exist in and out of the Feywild, traveling between planes along with their inhabitants. The culture of eladrin civilization was older than any other elven culture in the multiverse.

Celestial eladrin

Celestial eladrin  were fey celestials native to Arborea, primarily in Arvandor, although their faerie court was located in the Gates of the Moon.

Art source Celestial eladrin were wild fey beings of beauty and grace. They were considered among the noble eladrin and were related to other eladrin such as high elves and archfey.  They had been ruled by Queen Morwel for their entire existence.

Each eladrin type had two forms, a humanoid form and an energy form, which varied with the type of eladrin

All eladrin were immune to harm from electricity. They were resistant to acid, cold, and fire and could not be turned to stone by magical means. Most could see in darkness.

Eladrin had a wide range of spell-like abilities, which varied among their kinds, but all could communicate with almost any sentient creature using their innate magic.

Typical of fey, some eladrin were sensitive to cold iron.

An elf-like eladrin with the alternate form of a whirlwind of dust, snow, or sand.

An aquatic eladrin with the alternate form of a golden dolphin made from shimmering water.

An elf-like eladrin with the alternate form of a ball of light.

Greater

Firre

An elf-like eladrin with the alternate form of a pillar of fire.

Ghaele

An elf-like eladrin with the alternate form of a globe of eldritch colors.

Shiradi

A powerfully built eladrin with the alternate form of a cloud of light shards.

Tulani

An elf-like eladrin with the alternate form of a scintillating sphere of rainbow-colored light.
