Reach out if you’d like to interact with me anywhere else! I miss the community rpers used to have

Ok look I love angst, we all know this but also… for FMA:B…
Give me Team Mustang just being themselves. Give me Roy and Maes being idiots who have known each other too long and seen everything together through the years, but away from work are just the biggest dorks imaginable. I’m talking Roy begrudgingly agreeing to wear a “favorite Uncle” t-shirt because he is, so there.
Give me Riza casually blackmailing Roy because they’ve known each other since they were children and oh, the stories she could tell. Give me Mustang blushing to the tips of his ears because oh my god don’t bring that up, you are pure evil.
Give me Havoc and Breda dragging Fuery to pub night before learning the kid cannot hold his liquor but is damn good at cards.
Give me Falman having a secret passion for watercolors that everyone knows about, and paintings just showing up in the office sometimes, and Mustang never says a word except to compliment it casually before strolling off to his desk.
Give me older (but still teenager) Ed being one of the guys but also very much allowed to be a teenage boy, and the team good naturedly poking fun at his expense but only because he laughs right along with them.
Give me Team Mustang but away from the oppressive military environment, just old friends who have bonded for life being buds. Please.

oops! guess who forgot they had this blog!
In all seriousness, I think I’d like to be active on here again. I dunno how much muse I have for Falman, especially since he’s nearly an oc at this point since I haven’t watched fma in like? 7 years??, but there are some people on here that I really liked writing with and I’d love to continue.
Consider this a call to drop pretty much everything I owe. If you want something we did to continue feel free to message me, but everything is so old at this point that my organization is shot. All asks and drafts will be deleted and I’m starting over (again, unless you have something you really liked).
Thanks for sticking around with me through this impromptu hiatus!
You can find me on other blogs (where I am more or less active... I’m not great at running these things) here. All of these have fma verses, and verses for each other (ie. all have T.ma, RW.BY, and f.ma verses, along with original verses and some for other media I like)
@twominded (the mainblog for this blog, A.chilles from H.ades)
@jinxedcrow (I’m most active here, its Q.row from RW/BY)
@eyefreaked (Gerard from M/agnus A/rchives)
@onceinterred (RW/BY oc, sideblog to jinxedcrow)
@compassionsung (Cole from D/ragon A/ge)
@huntedalone (Trevor B.elmont from C/astlev/ania)

❝ You’re going to think I’m an idiot when I say this, but I didn’t like the way my… shadow moved. ❞
Magnus Starters MAG 021-025 // Still Accepting
“To be quite frank with you, I truly wish I thought you were an idiot for saying that, Sergeant,” Falman sighed heavily, but the breath did little to ease the tension gathered in his shoulders. Not that his rigid shoulders were the only hint of his anxiety. Furled brow and a deep frown etched into his mouth spoke plenty about the depth of his worry, not to mention the bags beginning to gather beneath his stern eyes. Here among friends, or at the very least allies, his poker face could slip.
Or so he hoped.
Pacing across the room to check the street below, he watched the lampposts outside splashing light onto the cobbles. More specifically, he watched the edges of each pool. So far, so still. While it did little to ease his mind, at least there was no immediate danger.
“I’ve seen it too. Hoped it was my imagination, some lack of sleep, but that is looking ever less likely. A fact that makes me... deeply unhappy.”

❝ I could have stayed away longer, probably should have, but I don’t think the boredom was good for me. ❞
❝ Why do I still feel like I’m being watched? ❞
❝ The only light down there is what you bring yourself. ❞
❝ I swear I would see movement out the corner of my eye. But when I turned, there was nothing. ❞
❝ Those memories are… unreliable, and tinged with other, more potent, experiences. ❞
❝ Have you ever left a crowded room, and literally felt the silence as you walked out into the night? ❞
❝ I generally consider myself to have an excellent sense of direction, but within minutes I became unsure of exactly which passages I had come from. ❞
❝ Well, I had my doubts how effective a knife would be, but it certainly eased my mind. ❞
❝ That was when I heard the noises again. They could have been footsteps, I suppose, but if so they were soft, quiet. ❞
❝ I am not a brave man. But I believe I am starting to come to terms with that fact, in certain circumstances, I am a very stubborn one. ❞
❝ Maybe I’d be lucky, and find a crazed gun-wielding madman. ❞
❝ Then, from somewhere in the darkness, I heard a single word, clear as day: “Leave.” ❞
❝ Was it some sort of trap? A test? ❞
❝ This level of paranoia is new to me, but I’m learning fast. ❞
❝ Trust can get you killed. ❞
❝ It probably says something really depressing about my personal life that, actually, I didn’t have anything better to do. ❞
❝ Now, despite everything that happened thus far appearing to show the contrary, I am not an idiot. ❞
❝ It was beautiful. It was some of the most achingly beautiful music I had ever heard. Then the screams began. ❞
❝ Just wanna talk about it with someone, you know? ❞
❝ I did notice you seemed less… taken aback by the large number of shrivelled silver worm corpses than I would have expected. ❞
❝ I don’t remember exactly what he was saying, but it definitely involved the words “cleansing fire”, “all shall be ash” and the name Asag, which I later learned is some kind of Sumarian demon. So that’s fun. ❞
❝ I made the mistake of forgetting that just because metal isn’t glowing red doesn’t mean it isn’t scorching hot. ❞
❝ I’m sure she mentioned vampires once as well, but… I think she was joking. Probably. Maybe. ❞
❝ This uncertainty is wearing on me, and I don’t know how much more I can take. ❞
❝ Even if I didn’t always share their amusement, I always shared in their joy. ❞
❝ It was the last time I would be able to hear such a sound without being filled with the deepest dread. ❞
❝ Each time she spoke it was abrupt and repetitive, like a scratched record. ❞
❝ Without warning it roared, the same powerful cry of violence that I had heard before, but as it did so I fell back in surprise. The tiger’s mouth had not moved. ❞
❝ The laughter didn’t sound right. None of it was right. ❞
❝ That’s the sort of person [name] was, not mean-spirited or nasty, he just liked a bit of harmless chaos now and again. ❞
❝ You can imagine that it came as something of a surprise when he came to me, and asked for my help in selling it. ❞

❝ It’s just a scratch, [name]. I’ll be fine. ❞
❝ Let’s just call it ‘a series of paranormal sightings’. ❞
❝ What happened just made things more… complicated, I guess. ❞
❝ It was the day before yesterday when I first saw it. ❞
❝ I’m not exactly the bravest person in the world. ❞

❝ I saw him there, the weird distorted body, rail thin and limp, the hands huge and sharp. ❞
❝ How would a melody describe itself when asked? ❞
❝ It said it wanted to be friends. ❞
❝ It felt like a… wet leather bag full of heavy stones. Sharp stones. ❞
❝ At the time I just tried to ignore it. ❞
❝ I didn’t know if what they said was a threat or a warning or just a lie, but I couldn’t take the chance. ❞
❝ Given how sick the whole situation made me feel, I think I actually was quite composed. ❞
❝ He tried to scream but that wasn’t what came out of his mouth. ❞
❝ Its fingers were long and distorted as they reached through my skin, cutting it like paper. ❞
❝ I should really quit, you know. We all should. ❞
❝ The idea that there are things out there like that that want to help us… For some reason, that makes me more uncomfortable. ❞
❝ She’d hate me saying that. [Name] never had any time for mopers or people who wallowed in self-pity, but I think I’ve earned it. ❞
❝ I thanked them as they left, even though they had been of no help whatsoever. ❞
❝ I have no evidence for the police. Or for you either, I suppose. ❞
❝ It’s my house, and I don’t care how much it scares me, nothing is going to make me give it up. ❞
❝ Perhaps this job is making me sentimental. ❞
❝I knew you guys were a bit… slapdash, but this is absurd. ❞
❝ People like a show. ❞
❝ Luckily, I don’t have anyone breathing down my neck or checking my legals. ❞
❝ It smelled like a really bad perfume: sharp and faintly floral, but not like any scent I could place. ❞
❝ You didn’t tell me about this place. ❞
❝ There are grey ladies everywhere. Old hospitals, asylums, orphanages, they’re usually believed to be the ghost of a nurse or something. ❞
❝ Someone had scrawled in black spray-paint the words “Silk will not stitch the butcher’s meat”. ❞
❝ I try not to think about it. ❞
❝ Every time I turned the corner it seemed like there was something there. ❞
❝ I froze. I didn’t know what to do. ❞
❝ I don’t know why that was the point I ran. ❞
❝ I never asked her about it. I never brought it up with the others. ❞
❝ Great! I should have known this was a complete waste of my time. ❞
❝ Bold is not the same as brave. ❞
❝ Despite the balmy warmth of that June day, the night was bitterly cold. ❞
❝ Everyone fears death. Of course they do. ❞
❝ To describe it as a skeleton would be to do Death a disservice. ❞
❝ Death was no more a skeleton than you are a woollen suit. ❞
❝ As long as there have been people and games, there have been tales of those who gambled with Death. ❞
❝ If you win, you shall not die. ❞
❝ Apologies for that. A bit dramatic, I know. ❞
❝ There is an aching inside of me. A craving for something, but I don’t know what. ❞
❝ So now I’m here, and I cannot die. ❞
❝ A living hell is, after all, still living. ❞
❝ It’s hard to believe in any special spark that makes us humans any different. ❞
❝ It’s actually a weight lifted, the knowledge you don’t have to do it anymore. ❞
❝ I don’t know if that’s true. ❞

❝ But he didn’t make me fire it. I did that myself. ❞
❝ I wish I felt bad about his death, but I don’t. I don’t feel anything at all. ❞

❝ I tried to warn him of course, it did no good, though. ❞
Magnus Archives Starters-- 011-016 // Accepting
“Warning’s don’t do any good if he doesn’t heed them,” Falman shrugged as he stirred cream into his coffee, frowning at the swirling mixture. Of course, why would anyone listen to their extremely competent first lieutenant? Perish the thought. When it really mattered, her calm head often prevailed over more... heated thoughts, but it seemed that Mustang was allergic to taking good advice.
“You both came into work this morning, so I can assume you settled it?”
