You know what otherkins I really fucking love ? Angelkins. I love them so much you have no idea. I literally don't know why cause I am not an angelkin nor anything similar/related but those guys ? We don’t have enough disabled therian representation.

It’s true. We don’t. Since the therian community is mainly online, we don’t get a lot of disabled therians. That is mainly because the algorithm pushes mainly quads and masks. It also kinda ties into my last post about the therian community being very quads and gear centered.

Many disabled people (myself included) aren’t able to do quads. And in a world that’s already not made for us, “coming out” as a therian can place unnecessary pressure on us to be able to do quads and wear gear.

I’m gonna be real with y’all, I can’t live my life without being in pain 24/7. I have multiple disabilities and while i’d love to have gear and do quads, my body just doesn’t allow it.

TLDR: even though disabled therians are underrepresented in the therian community, please don’t discount our existence.

I fucking LOVE the therian community's vibe. What I wouldn't give to hang out with a group of therians and just fucking be their hype man on the side. Like yeah man that's a cool fucking stick go crazy and drag it around bro. Yeah dude start a pack howl I'll join in if you're cool with it man. They have such a love for nature and the world it feels like. I fuck with it so hard. If you're a therian, otherkin, etc you are so based and cool. I might not be informed but I am in awe of you. Hey, so like, SOME therians. By SOME, I mean the outwardly ableist. I mean the outwardly fatphobic. The ones with racism that they can't even try to hide. The judgmental therians. The therians who believe they're the only "real therians" and most other therians are just faking. Any fucking toxic therian out there. Can we really, really NOT dictate someone's identity because it's 'different'? Stop pandering to humans and start defending your therian siblings, otherkin cousins, and nonhuman relatives. Please. PLEASE.

All of that energy towards "fake therians", your fucking ableism, and judging others for even the slightest bit of variety could go towards actually speaking to a clinical lycanthrope, a physical therian, an objectkin, or any unconventional kin. You could put that hate into energy to learn, but it's just easier to criticize and hate others, huh? You don't want to accept that others that you choose not to believe exist in your reality actually do exist in your reality, huh? Get off your high horse, stop policing others' identities, and start asking yourself why the hell you've become so bitter about others existing and being themselves. Why does it bother you so much that the foxfolk is actually physically a fox? Why does it bother you that the objectkin talks about how they don't relate to your animalistic shifts? Why does it bother you that clinical lycanthropes have built a community for themselves and are thriving in the absence of ableism, and can talk about their experiences without being called "crazy", "attention-seeking", "too much", or "gross and weird"? Why are you so gobsmacked that therianthropy isn't a monolith, and that everyone around you is actually different beings with different souls, personalities, mental capabilities, talents, and more. They are just as varied as humans are. It's time to learn to accept that.

This is just becoming so fucking disgusting. I don't care how this post comes off. If you feel threatened or called out by it, ask yourself why. Maybe you're part of the problem.

If this post does garner more attention, I'll probably edit it just in case I come off as too harsh. I'm just really, really annoyed and saw a post that sent me over the edge tonight. I'm so tired of this.

hey therianblr, ive decided im gonna make a conlang just for therians. and im only going to let therians or alterhumans learn it. if youre interested, dm me (or if you have ideas on how it should sound) :3

the concept is similar to things like pig latin, its a language for a certain group of people, and that group does not want outsiders to learn their language so were gonna basically have our own language to ourselves! but that also means well have to regulate the resources used to learn it since its not meant for non alterhumans

Been meaning to say this for a while, but here's a not so gentle reminder that you don't have to be skinny, white and able bodied to be part of the nonhuman community.

Racism and ableism is sadly rampant in this community and I want this blog to be safe for the beings that feel excluded!
