Hey! Um, so not that anybody gives a flying fuck, but currently my Conquest blog MIGHT be on hold, my Citra is completely crashing after the events of Chapter 13. I get to the Hans cutscene and it just... freezes. So technically, there is no way for me to move forward in the game right now. I'm currently troubleshooting, asking for help on Discord abt it, but I have no idea when it'll be back up and running. Again, not like anybody cares but if somebody's been lurking or some shit, it might be a minute. I'm not cancelling the blog, I want to keep it going, but it's not gonna work right now. I do have the screenshots of what I did for Chapter 13, so I will be uploading that! Ugh, right before Leo's join chapter this shit happens to me...

Fates x Main Pop Girls

Okay, so I got really bored and decided to pair main pop girls up with Fates husbands based on what made the most sense to me. I don't really have many but I thought it was a funny idea.

Sabrina Carpenter/Laslow: I feel like Soleil feels very Sabrina-esque to me. Flirty, energetic, and fun

Ariana Grande/Keaton: Keaton is like the Pete Davidson of Fates in a way, also Velouria has that cloud, dream vibe that Ariana has a little bit. And the whole "smells like a flower" bit fits because Ari has a whole perfume line! (My mom, the Mod Vanilla...)

Taylor Swift/Subaki: Just feels accurate idk. Either that or Taylor/Ryoma bc Shiro is the closest thing possible to a football jock in Fates (other than like, Hinata)

Katy Perry/Arthur: I don't need to explain any more.

Selena Gomez/Silas: Feels like it would probably have a good support line!

Okay, Rhajat would be Billie Eilish's daughter, but Billie Eilish would NOT S support Hayato, because Billie Eilish is NOT a pedophile!

This stretches to Awakening, but Drake/Nowi anyone??? For the reasons we all know?? With a side of "Not Like Us"??

I'm almost thinking Beyonce/Xander? So she can be the TRUE Queen Bey?

My most hated FE pairings

I wanna stir up some shit ngl. I’ve already talked at large abt Selena/Subaki, so I’m not gonna cover that here, but just know that that is one of my most hated.

Tharja/Robin: Tharja literally stalks them. Stalker romance just feels really gross to me, not gonna lie. And this is coming from somebody who doesn’t really see that much of a problem in Robin/Lucina. Because at least they’re the same age, there was no obsessive stalking involved, and this Lucina isn’t the same as Present Lucina. With Tharja, it just feels like some Disney villain shit

Similarly, I feel bad for the people who had to deal with Rhajat as the ONLY female gay option in Fates. Like, of course, give them the creepy Tharja clone who is just as much of a stalker, and can only be recruited if you marry the literal child off! Surely there’s nothing fucked up about that whatsoever!

Kaden/Peri: It sucks because I REALLY love the idea of Peri being Selkie’s mother, but I just CAN’T get behind that horrid S support for the life of me

Sakura/Azama: Fuck this pairing. It sucks because Mitama looks so much like Sakura, but (slight tw here), as somebody who has been emotionally abused in the past, I can just see all of the warning signs in this support, and it makes me really angry that they took that route with this support. This support was the nail in the coffin for me as to why I hate Azama as a character.

Camilla/Keaton: I could go on and on and on and on about why I DESPISE this pairing. First off, disgusting support line. It feels like it was written by a 13 year old boy who doesn’t know anything about women except for “boobs and butts”. “Haha funny bone hole” gets SO fucking old after the first time you hear it, but they just KEEP persisting with the joke. Like, I know Camilla is sexualized by the game a LOT, but this support crosses the line for me and it’s just gross. Now, onto the S support, Camilla isn’t even fucking happy! She’s pissed the whole time with him! And I don’t ship characters if they aren’t happy by the end of that S support! I hate to be that person, but this support feels a little fetish-y to me. Also, “Camilla works so well as Velouria’s mom!”. Not really. Like, sure they look similar, but that support makes sense with like half the women in the game. Mozu? It makes sense. Felicia? It makes sense. Corrin? It makes sense. Charlotte even makes sense. The ONLY argument I see is that Velouria KIND of looks like Camilla, but Nyx also looks kind of like Velouria, and shares a lot of her personality traits. It feels like apophenia to say that this pairing is “a perfect match”. And also, Velouria has basically the same exact stats/mods with like, 8 other moms. She does not need Camilla OR the Wyvern tree to be good. And as proven by my Conquestcation run, Camilla can just get a fast support with Beruka, which basically allows her to marry whoever the fuck she wants

Leo/Peri: As we all probably know, Leo is my fav. He’s my MVP, my man, my fictional boyfriend, whatever else. I hate him in this S support. Because why the fuck are you just enabling her behavior here. Bro is absolutely pathetic, willing to defy all morals for the girl with 2 toned hair. Is this just representative of every stereotypical Discord guy? Wow, as much as I am a little bit of a Peri defender, she does have some HORRIBLE supports. But for this one, I feel like Leo’s the one to blame for how awful it is, because the first 3 are actually really good, but then he just becomes a simp-y enabler in the S support.

On a similar Leo note, I don’t like Leo/Sakura just because I REALLY don’t like the hair color it gives Forrest. Like REALLY. It’s eye grating. I also hate the color Hinoka gives but I honestly really like the Leo/Hinoka S support. I would never do it, but it’s cute.

Xander/Hinoka, because I feel like the people that say they like the hair color it gives Siegbert are trolling

I actually don’t really like any of the Hoshido royal/Nohr royal supports. Which is weird, because I actually like the same-sex ones a lot more (like Leo/Takumi is a much better pairing than Leo/Sakura, and Camilla/Hinoka makes SO MUCH more sense that Camilla/Ryoma). I just feel like they all have their designated counterparts, so it feels weird for them to have a second counterpart.

Odin/Corrin. Poor guy.

Lissa/Lon’qu, I more hate its fans than anything else. They act like it’s the “canon” pairing for them because of the supports and because Owain is the same class. But literally nothing is canon in these games. Also the hair color it gives Owain is the same reason I don’t pair Odin and Nyx.

I don’t like the idea of Cordelia and Chrom getting together. There’s a reason you can’t do it in-game. It just takes away from Severa’s ENTIRE character if you do this.

Forrest/Soleil: Saying that Forrest “looks enough like a girl” to make this a ship isn’t gonna make me wanna do it any more. I love Soleil’s personality, I think she’s super bubbly and fun, but I have to admit that some of her supports are really gross. The JP support for this is an example of that. And I just don’t feel like they make sense together. I don’t think Forrest makes sense with anybody, except for MAYBE Selkie (but do I SHIP that or do I just want Magic +2 access on him?)

M!Kana/anybody: I just hate Male Kana. He’s an annoying little shit.

And Laslow is incapable of having a bad support. There are some pairings I don’t like, but saying their bad supports is just wrong. I don’t LOVE him with Peri, just because I think it’s unnatural for her to just… stop killing immediately after one person said so, but it’s definitely not her worst.

Slaycation's Conquestcation Episode 6: The Potheads go to Pot Hell

Should I rename the castle to “The Potheads” because of this title?

Hello, and welcome back to Slaycation’s Conquestcation, my blog where I document my fourth ever run of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest! Last episode was kind of bland, I’m not even gonna lie. I didn’t screenshot a lot of stuff and the rooms were really confusing to get on photo. But, I’ve learned my lesson!! THIS time, I made sure to take my pictures well!!

And this chapter is also kind of a big one for the team??? We get 3 new units that are going to be CRUCIAL to us later on in this run. First off, we have Kaze. Not going to be a mainstay unit by any means, but his marriage to Azura is going to provide us with 2 incredibly useful paralogues later on down the line! Specifically Midori’s, if I ever want Profiteer money, and the Generals at the end of the map will be used to grind weapon ranks!! Next up, we have Laslow, a personal favorite of mine! He’s gonna be one of our few Rally Bots, getting Rally Strength from Keaton, Rally Skill from Bow Knight, and Rally Speed from Selena. Not only will he be staying on the team for a while, but so will his daughter, Soleil, who is gonna be our resident Ninja! Finally, we get Peri, who is one of the most hated FE characters ever, but I actually think that she’s a “so bad she’s good” situation, and I actually think she’s really funny. She won’t be of much use, but her marriage to Keaton is gonna provide us with hopefully one of our mainstay units, Velouria! 

So, in terms of support, we’ve only got a few that we have to worry about! Unfortunately, Elise is out of commission for this chapter (meaning the single battle her and Odin have left until they get an S support must be postponed until Chapter 13), but luckily that means we can focus our energy on some other units! For instance, this is the last chapter that Camilla and Beruka will be fighting together in before they reach an A support! In addition to this, Camilla and Niles will also be reaching their A support on this chapter! Since Beruka and Selena hit A support last chapter, we don’t need to worry about the two of them getting support, so we can focus our energy on getting Selena and Laslow to a C support! Finally, we have the supports between Azura and Kaze, which shouldn’t be too hard!

This chapter has always been probably my least favorite, if I had to pick one. The enemy count is ridiculous, I hate the pots, and there's just so many bows. But, now that I have access to Save States, we’ll see if my opinion changes at all!

I have a guide pulled up on my phone with all of the pots effects, which should help me out a little bit! And luckily, they tell you in advance if the pots are medicine or poison! My main 2 problems are gonna be the Saizo/Kagero section, and the section full of Apothecaries with Lunge in the middle. Hopefully this goes okay! 

So, here’s a look at my setup!! Not much to say here honestly. I hope this makes any ounce of sense! I might as well get right into it!

Turn 1:

We have Silas take some damage from the wrong thing to get debuffed. Boo.

We then get as many people in range as possible to let Peri hit the defense buff pot

Kaze breaks a pot in order to get in range of the Lancer and Azura sings for him

We get Selena in range of some of the Samurai for Laslow to dual strike with her, Laslow rallies!

Turn 2:

I apologize for the picture, it’s actually from an old draft of the run. In the real successful run, I skipped enemy phase and apparently Selena hit a crit when I wasn’t looking, changing the way I looked at the level a little bit.

So, we now have LASLOW go in first, taking a hit on the full-health ninja.

Like my unsuccessful run, I then get Odin to kill that ninja with Laslow’s dual strike

Now, though, Selena is able to go in and attack the third lancer, and she’ll kill it on Enemy Phase, which she couldn’t do previously (if you’re following this at home and trying to recreate this, this is probably next to impossible. I have no idea how high of a chance that crit proc was, but I’m fairly certain it was about a 6% with the Iron Sword.

On Kaze’s side, we have him attack the Lancer that hit him at 2 range. Azura goes to the Lancer’s left and sings for him, allowing him to kill the Lancer

For the most parth though? Mostly, everybody else just gets into range of the Defense Tonic pots (which, somehow managed to save this run for me later on, you’ll see what I mean)

Turn 3:

Everybody gears up to take down Saizo and Kagero this enemy phase! I saw a trick on YouTube (thanks Zoran) where you send somebody with a 2 ranged weapon into the bottom right of their range, allowing the other ninjas to be taken care of more safely.

In Zoran’s video, he used Silas to do this with Camilla helping out. However, I’m not planning on getting Camilla any supports with Silas. And also, this is my own unique run, I don’t wanna just copy off of YouTube tutorials. So instead, I’m gonna have Beruka take care of them. But first, everybody has to get as close to in-range of the Defense Pot as possible. One of the reasons I had Camilla and Beruka skip the Defense pot at the start was because had Beruka had even a SLIGHT bit more defense, Saizo and Kagero wouldn’t attack her.

One other random move I did was pair Selena into Laslow, then have the two of them separate in order to get Selena the defensive bonuses. They’re gonna help take down some of the upcoming ninjas

I had Kaze attack the pot, and then Azura sang for him and he moved closer to the right side of the map. (This was before the Lancers I wanted him to help defeat started moving towards the main Ninja room, so this was just a random move honestly). Everybpdy else just kind of moves in.

Turn 4

On Enemy Phase, Saizo attacked Beruka, but she counterattacked with the Hand Axe. His personal skill then caused him to drop all the way down to 1 HP. So, on this turn, we have Beruka kill Saizo with the Hand Axe.

Then, in order to take down Kagero, Silas shelters her. Then, Niles pairs into Camilla and SHE takes care of Kagero. In order to do this, Azura must sing for her once.

We get Peri in range of the Lancer on the right hand side. I want to get her at LEAST a few kills this chapter, just to see if she can function OKAY when I have to deploy her again in Chapter 14. Jakob heals back the damage she took from destroying the pot.

We also get Odin in range of a few Ninjas. He’s the only one with low enough Defense to actually get attacked by them. I do wanna TRY and see if him and Laslow can get a C support. Not really a REQUIREMENT of mine, persay, but it’d be fun. So, I have Laslow get next to him. (I also don’t want Selena next to him to prevent the possibility of her and Laslow hitting C support this chapter)

Turn 5:

I give Kaze the kill on the Lancer, despite Peri taking a hit on him. Probably to get Kaze/Azura support up.

Meanwhile, Selena kills the Ninja that attacked Odin.

Beruka gets in RANGE of some of the other Ninjas, in CASE they decide to attack her and we can get some extra kills, but I doubt that’ll work (spoiler alert: it doesn’t)

In order to GET her in range, we had to do some transfer shenanigans. Camilla grabbed Beruka from Silas and dropped her in range, and then Silas switched to Niles and they separated.

Turn 6:

Beruka attacks one of the Ninjas at 2 range

Niles pairs into Camilla again for support points and together they kill it

Meanwhile, Kaze prepares to help defeat another Lancer with Silas’ help, and Effie pairs into Estella so that she can kill one of the incoming enemies (can’t remember what class they were)

Turn 7:

Okay, so this was kind of a huge one. We got Beruka all the way into the range of 2 of the Apothecaries. However, these ones don’t have Lunge, so we're safe to kill them. I had given Beruka a Strength Tonic to take down Saizo, but I realized I didn’t need it. However, this was EXACTLY the amount of Strength i needed for her to one round the Apothecaries with Camilla’s Dual Strike

Estella now has to kill another Samurai, while everybody else just kind of waits around for next turn

Turn 8:

We somehow successfully manage to get Camilla to kill one of the Lunge Apothecaries with Niles’ Dual Strike. We got Effie to break the pot with a Javelin, and they they both went in for the kill

Beruka also breaks a pot here. Don’t remember what its effects were though. Maybe healing??

And once again, everybody else just moves in

Turn 9:

I wanted Peri to kill some enemies here. So, with the help of Azura’s song, she was able to kill the last Lunge Apothecary. There were some shaky hit rates here, since her Steel Lance hits for 72%. Let’s just say that this won’t be the last time that shitty hit rates come in clutch

Camilla’s duty now (since she got frozen) is to enemy phase all the incoming enemies

Odin also got Silenced last turn, but that’s honestly no biggie because I don’t plan on using him anytime soon in this level

Turn 10:

(Sorry I almost forgot the take the picture and had to do it on Enemy Phase)

I kind of just went to see if anybody else could kill the incoming Ninja, but it ended up just attacking Niles instead

This turn was just me finishing off that last batch of enemies. Beruka went in and killed one, it looks like.

Turn 11:

I got Estella into range of the Samurai by Ryoma, thinking they would come in and attack me. They didn’t.

Turn 12:

This is where shit hits the FAN. This turn took me like 8 tries. Since I got the Dual Club for the first time, I figured I’d try going for the Ryoma kill. If only Camilla’s hit rate wasn’t a fucking 61%!!!

Also, since I stalled for a few turns, now the Apothecaries are coming for my ass, so I have to body block to prevent any deaths

So, we start by having Selena attack the Samurai with the Kodachi. I’m not even gonna try getting the Armorslayer, by the way

Kaze, with a Silas pair up, attacks the second one.

This allows for Azura to sing Selena out of Ryoma’s range to let her kill the Samurai that Kaze attacked (I forgot to mention she paired into Laslow a few turns back)

Camilla goes in and kills the Kodachi Samurai with the Dual Club

Jakob had been paired into Azura, so Peri then gets right below Azura and steals Jakob from her. We need her to deflect a couple Apothecary attacks for us

Finally, we get Niles to pair into Odin, who then equips Nosferatu, as well as Estella with an Effie pair up, to help body block anybody else from possibly getting killed. This formation took me SO fucking long to get down. Initially, Selena was in Ryoma’s range and she kept dying, then Kaze kept dying, and it was a whole thing. But this formation DOES work. And a great reason why I got everybody to take thos eDefense tonics is that now, Peri survives the Apothecaries at 1 HP.

Turn 13:

This was where I said “fuck it, I’m ending the chapter”.

I had 2 outcomes here. Either we kill Ryoma by some cosmic coincidence, or we have a failsafe where Azura sings for Estella and we get the fuck out of here. To make that failsafe possible, Jakob attacks one of the pots.

To start off, we didn’t need Selena, Laslow, Silas, and Kaze to do shit anymore, so we got Selena to hit one of the pots blocking the money chest and Kaze opened it up! More money! Yay!

Next, we had Effie take a hit on Ryoma with a Javelin. This was a very safe move, since it let her survive no matter what. It was a REALLY bad hit rate, but we got it somehow.

After that, we got Camilla to try and hit him with the Dual Club. And once again, with a 61% hit rate, that shit lands!

So, the only thing I had left to do here was somehow get Odin to hit a 72%. He has Fire equipped, so Ryoma can’t trigger a crit and somehow kill him. Vantage gets triggered, meaning Odin DOES take a pretty sizeable hit, but as long as he hits the 72% here, Ryoma dies before he can counterattack and kill Odin.

I did hit a Save State here just to be safe, so that if this DOES miss, we can just sing Estella to the finish line. Either way, this is the last turn of the chapter.

But Odin came in absolute CLUTCH here and managed to defeat Ryoma!!! I’ve never beaten Ryoma before on this map, I’m so happy right now. Good riddance to Chapter 12!!

And when looking at our supports…

We got everything we wanted to get!!! Azura and kaze hit C support, Selena and Laslow hit C support, Camilla and Niles hit A support, and we finally got our Camilla/Beruka A support in the books! Overall, even though I despise this chapter with a BURNING passion, we managed to get a lot accomplished here. And now, we get Chapter 13, which used to be one of my most hated, but now I kind of love it!

Wait a minute, I just realized something...

So I pair Orochi with Azama, right? Don't LOVE Azama but I like Orochi and I mostly do it because Mitama looks alright with the hair color. But I just realized that there's a coincidence here!! Orochi was Mikoto's retainer, obviously, and then Mitama is her daughter, and Mikoto was a Priestess, and Mitama is a Shrine Maiden!!! So in a way, Orochi has a new little Priestess to take care of!!! But she can also follow in her mother's footsteps and become an Onmyoji instead!!

Slaycation's Conquestcation Episode 5: We at the hotel, Motel, Hinoka Inn

Get it, because the rooms…

Hello and welcome back to Slaycation’s Conquestcation! If you’re new here, I’m just documenting my fourth ever run of Fates Conquest! Mostly to refer to it later in case I need it, but I’m leaving it here in case it’s helpful for anybody else! The last 2 episodes have been side quests, as I did Paralogue 1 and Invasion 1! But now we’re finally back on track and doing the main missions, now that we’re on schedule for our supports! 

This episode, we’re doing Chapter 11, which is honestly one of my favorites in the game. After how difficult Chapter 10 is and how difficult Chapter 12 is going to be, this chapter is a really nice break from everything, just a chapter where I can kind of kick back and relax while I watch people take out entire rooms for me. Plus, we get Kaze at the end of this level. Hurray!!! We can start building up support between him and Azura!!

For supports, in the last episode I mentioned that I got Elise and Odin to an A support by some cosmic coincidence. This means that they should be at an S support after Chapter 13, AKA we’ll have access to the Ophelia paralogue before we unlock Leo. We also have one more chapter before Effie and Arthur reach their S support! So I’ll probably be getting that this chapter too. For our third milestone support, Beruka and Selena will be achieving their A support this chapter. Hopefully. I said that about Beruka and Camilla in Paralogue 1 and look where that got me. Anyways, after that, I can spend some time in Chapter 13 grinding the Camilla/Beruka support to get them to A as well! Then we’ll just have that out of the way for later!! 

For our setup, I typically send everybody into the Rinkah room, but I think I want to split it up this time. So, I’ll have Selena, Beruka, Camilla, and Niles take on Rinkah’s gang, while everybody else goes for Setsuna. Then, we’ll have everybody take on Kaze’s room, the middle room, and we’ll finish off with Azama’s because I REALLY hate that room with a burning passion. Not much else to it, let’s go!

(Hi, it’s editing Slaycation, this one is really poorly done, I forgot to add in a few details, and it overall looks kind of rushed. I apologize! I had graduation the day before and I was super tired when I shot this! And I also really love this chapter so I accidentally got a little TOO into it)

Turn 1:

On Team Camilla, we have Selena get into range of one of the Oni Savages, while everybody else waits around. I’m trying to grind as much experience and support into her as possible so that I can solely focus on her and Laslow getting support later on!

On Team Effie, we have Arthur pair into her and she runs into the furthest range of the Archers. Everybody else waits at the stairs (imagine them waiting for the elevator to land on their floor again)

Turn 2:

This took me a minute. I somehow found a strange manuver where I could get Selena and Beruka to support, Beruka and Camilla to support, and Camilla and Niles to support through some Transfer shenanigans. I didn’t mention it last time, but I AM trying to get Camilla some of the boss kills this time around, because her 1 exp phase is beginning to finally run out, and I DO plan on having her as a long term combat unit, so getting some axe rank in now is always a good idea ngl

On Team Effie, she makes a quick retreat to get healed by Jakob. I thought about putting everybody else in the room, but I have fliers and everybody else in one-range, so she kind of has to fend for herself here!

Turn 3:

Team Camilla continues to dominate, taking down as many enemies as possible. A lot of these kills went to Selena, but I think some got to Niles as well. Trying not to get too many on Beruka but I highkey really like using her when she’s in Fighter, I’m not even gonna lie

And on the other side, I FINALLY managed to get everybody else on the board to kill some enemies! I softened a few up with Effie before letting Elise take some kills! This was also the point where I decided that I wanted to see how far I could get with an Elise/Azura support! Probably won’t be of any use, but Falcon Knight Elise could be cute! You know, if the Bolt Naginata existed in this game!

Turn 4 I just got people into range of enemies lol I don’t think I need to show that

Skip a few to turn 5:

I did some weird manuever on the left hand side. I can’t even explain it. I think I had Elise attack an Archer, then she took Counter damage, Estella killed the Archer, and then Azura sang for Elise.

On the other side, we kill the last Oni Savage and prepare to kill Rinkah! The last kill I ended up giving to Niles! Camilla moved to the side, Beruka took a hit with Selena and Camilla’s supports, and then Niles killed it with Cam’s support!

Turn 6:

We get the kills in on our first 2 bosses!

On Team Camilla, Niles takes a hit on Beruka, but takes some damage back. Beruka moves to his southwest, and Camilla gets between the 2 of them to get the kill on Rinkah! This gives her the most exp I’ve seen her gain on this run!

On Team Effie, the knight herself takes a jab at Setsuna before letting her liege, Elise take the final blow. Azura sings for her again.

As we wait for Niles, Camilla, Beruka, and Selena to get to the other side of the map, Azura sings for Elise every single turn so that she can get some support points and exp. And while she was healing everyone with her personal skill, I decided to just sing grind her up to Level 10 because I was sick of not having Inspiring Song lmao.

Anyways, for consistency let’s just say Turn 7!

We have Effie bait out the Ninjas with a Bronze lance so she doesn’t give them any damage.

Turn 8:

We have the whole team go in and kill the Ninjas. The only units who don’t touch anything are Effie, Arthur, and Azura. We had Beruka attack one, giving Selena that kill, Niles went 2 spaces to the left of Camilla but I let Camilla take the kill so she could get support points with both Beruka AND Niles, Elise and Odin killed one together, and then Estella might have also taken chip damage with one of them

Turn 9:

We give the Kaze kill to Camilla so she can get some more exp.

Turn 10:

We send Effie and Arthur into the Samurai room to get some hits in. Effie kills one of them on enemy phase

Turn 11:

I didn’t get a picture of this, but we had everybody move in and get some kills in on the enemies. I don’t even remember the formation

Okay, so I mentioned this episode has like, no photos in it, right? Yeah, I apparently didn’t get a single picture of what happening in the Azama room. But I can describe it! Basically, I had no idea how I was supposed to best Azama without getting Hexing Rodded or Divine Retribution killed one of my units. So, in order to mitigate those effects, I used Odin, Arthur, and Azura as Hexing Rod bait from the top-right corner of the Samurai room, then I went in with some of my units and killed as many Dark Mages as I could in that room. Then, for the Azama kill, I got Niles to Cupid’s Bow and I grinded exp on my units with him for a bit. I also had Niles take the contents of both chests, by the way. Should’ve mentioned that.

Turn 12:

We finally make it to the Hinoka room! And by some cosmic coincidence, I managed to get every enemy on this whole map killed! I used Beruka to attack the left Sky Knight with the Hand Axe.

Then Camilla went in and took a hit on Hinoka, but didn’t kill her just yet

Next, Niles went in with Camilla’s dual strike and killed the rightmost Sky Knight

Selena kills the left hand Sky Knight with Beruka’s help

Estella uses Beruka’s dual strike to kill the Sky Knight behind Hinoka

Elise then goes in and kills the Shrine Maiden

Finally, Azura sings for Camilla and she does the honors of killing Hinoka, granting her her first level up!!

Whew! That took me a long time to do!!

Kaze is recruited after this map, so I might as well see what all supports we’ve achieved so far with him and our other units!!

Okay, so Azura/Kaze not having C support like I thought they maybe would isn’t too great. It’s fine, since I can song-grind for them, but still a little annoying if I’m being completely honest. We did get the Selena/Beruka A support though, and I made sure Selena got the A+ support as well, so we don’t have to worry about that for any longer! On my last playthrough I got that on Chapter 14, so this is certainly an improvement!! In addition to this, Effie and Arthur hit their S support!! I’m not gonna do Percy’s paralogue until later though!!! We also got a C support between Elise and Azura, the C support between Kaze and Estella, and weirdly enough, the Niles/Azura C support.

Ranting abt the fandom, YouTubers

Trigger warning in advance for SA

You probably know where I'm going here, and I talked about this on my own YouTube account. I don't care how long ago the Mangs drama was, it's absurd that people are continuing to support that man after everything. As somebody who is relatively new to the fandom, I have had to learn the hard way that there is a shit ton of FE YouTubers that quietly support his actions without me even knowing it until much later. And the other guy, Chaz, pulled the most douchebag shit I've ever seen by LITERALLY CHANGING HIS USERNAME so that people wouldn't correlate the names or something. I have done my research on these controversies. I am somebody who believes the victim (by the way, there is no such thing as a "perfect victim", please stop this narrative. The minute ANY person (but especially women) come forth about SA or abuse of any kind from a partner, people immediately assume they don't deserve sympathy because "oh, but they did this in the past!". That doesn't fucking matter). As said, I've watched videos, read old Reddit threads, done a lot of my own research on this situation, and I just don't think it's okay that people continue to condone that kind of behavior.

I think it's really important that newcomers to the FE fandom continue to be educated about this, because I'm sure a lot of Mangs and Chaz's viewers don't even know about these controversies in the first place. I certainly didn't. When one of them changes their name, it's hard to know that that kind of shit happened from THAT person. Granted, I had only really seen Chaz's vids on Fates. I had seen one single Mangs video before I learned about his shit. And that's because I was not educated. Idk how that can be possible, but I wish it was just widely known that anybody shouldn't watch these guys. There are SO MANY FE YouTubers that make amazing content and have nothing to do with these guys. Go support smaller channels who are relatively new! I've found some super amazing accounts in this community over this past year of me playing FE. They're super hilarious, have super fun run concepts and challenges, fun tier lists, what's not to be excited about?

So, all this to say, fuck your local abusers. Fuck your local rapists. Believe victims when they speak up, and have a good day!

My Selena rant

Be aware, I swear a LOT on this. I have a lot of opinions.

Something I only mentioned like once on here is that I hate Subaki/Selena. I just fucking despise it. You know why? Because people go “Oh, but it’s good closure for Selena’s character!” “She looks just like Cordelia!” “It helps her get over her inferiority complex!” You know what else does all 3 of those things? Pairing her up with anybody else that isn’t fucking Subaki. It’s not a fucking healthy way to deal with your problems if you’re just surrounding yourself with people that remind you of the one person that makes you the most insecure. This is not me saying Selena doesn’t love her mother. This is not me saying she has no feelings attached to her. Because why would you fucking go into the past to see somebody again if you didn’t care about them at least a little? It’s very clear that Selena cares deeply for her mother. But you can love someone and they can still make you feel insecure sometimes. Those aren’t mutually exclusive things. And I’m just putting myself in her position. This is slightly different, but I had a best friend that made me feel super insecure when I was younger, because she was rich and everyone loved her and nobody really liked me because it was wealthy-ass Metro Detroit. Say I then stayed friends with her my whole life, she never changed. She was still m=y best friend, but I knew I would always just feel a little inferior to her. Now, I go on to marry a guy who’s rich and popular and everyone loves him, and then we have a daughter together that took all of his traits and looks more like my best friend than she looks like me. I would feel absolutely fucking horrible. Because now there are so many people in my life who are living this life where they’re perfect and everyone loves them. It doesn’t matter if Selena “eventually comes around to it”, it’s just so fucking unhealthy, and when you put it into your own shoes, tell me you would fucking want that for yourself.

Take her with anybody else, for this I’ll use Kaze as to avoid shipping biases. Kaze is someone who bears basically no similarities to Cordelia. And his daughter is quite literally the opposite. Selena now has the opportunity to start anew, find people who truly care for her for who she really is, and have no similarities to the people she was once insecure about. I can see this as being a healthier way to cope with the Cordelia shit. Because now, she maybe doesn’t feel as insecure because she has a family of her own who aren’t gonna fucking compare her to Cordelia, she’s probably gonna be less inclined to compare herself to Cordelia, and she can probably feel a little “perfect” in her own way. It’s even better if you put her with somebody like Odin or Laslow, somebody who has GROWN UP seeing the real her, and knows that she’s more than just Cordelia’s daughter. They KNOW of her capabilities and KNOW that she’s a talented woman. Soleil even has a very similar outfit to Selena. I would feel really happy if I spent my entire life living in my mother’s shadow, and now my own daughter thinks I’m so cool she wants to be just like me. Yes, Selena seems pissed with Soleil for like, the vast majority of that support. But it is more reminiscent of “overworked mother who is trying to work hard but her kid is in the way” then “I think I just gave birth to my fucking mother, what do I do”. Even in the Hoshidan Festival DLC, Soleil talks about Selena becoming the new “Cordelia”, and how Soleil wants to be just like HER now. And Selena is actually really good about it. She talks about how much Soleil probably inherited from her grandparents, who she loved so very much, but also how much she inherited from her own parents. And she tells her NOT to compare herself to her mother, to be her own woman. That’s, in my opinion, a really good way to have that conversation with a child. To say, "hey, it looks like you’re beginning to show signs of something I once struggled with, but I think you’re absolutely perfect and you don’t need to think like that, because you come from a lineage of super great people, and I’m sure you’re gonna do a lot of great things".

Even if you just fucking keep her single. In her ending, it says that legends say she was either a sellsword or an actress or anything else. None of it has to do with becoming a Pegasus Knight. So, no matter what, she’s going to deal with those insecurities on her own. So why would you exposure therapy her into it? Why would you force her to do that? Literally every single pairing in the game gives her character development. Sure, it’s not as OBVIOUS as putting her with Subaki, but anybody is going to give her that closure. Where with somebody else, she can return to Ylisse with the people in her life that make her feel more grounded, and as I’ve said a hundred times, take a shot every time I say it, insecure. She can introduce her family to the people from Ylisse, and they aren’t gonna be like “Wow, they look just like YOU, Cordelia!” They’ll probably be more “Oh, I’m so happy for you, Severa!”, which is a NORMAL response to have. I love my mother, but if I showed my kid to everyone and they were like “Wow, [Slaycation's mother], the gene’s must’ve skipped a generation” I would feel like I did something wrong! And again, my mother is one of my favorite people in the damn world! I have literally never one felt “inferior” to her. She's genuinely one of my best friends.

MAYBE I’m sensitive. MAYBE I’m fucking wrong and Subaki/Selena is the fucking OTP or something. But from a psychological standpoint, it sounds like an episode of fucking Black Mirror, and it just feels like a really fucked up sadistic thing to do to someone.

I have genuinely no idea

My fav hair colors on the Fates kids

Hi I’m back. Third post of the day!!! LMAO. I wanna rant abt hair colors because I ship a LOT for hair color in Fates and Awakening. This will just be for Fates tho.

Neutral:

Kana: For female Kana, it’s anything blue. Flora, Reina, Azura, and Oboro. She can just really rock blue tbh. She can also rock white really well! For Male Kana, I like anything grey-ish. Laslow, Jakob, even kind of Takumi to an extent. I don’t hate any colors on F!Kana, but I DESPISE both Kaze and Kaden’s hair colors on M!Kana. Not a good look. Actually, I do take it back. I don’t love the Camilla lavender on F!Kana. It looks wrong.

Shigure: I’m kidding

Dwyer: Nyx is the correct option here. I don’t like Mozu or Kagero’s because they’re too brown. But with Nyx, it’s like the exact same shade as his gloves, and that’s satisfying to me. But also Corrin’s default hair color, Corrin’s black hair, as well as Effie’s hair color look nice on him. Everything else looks disgusting

Midori: I talk about Azura a lot and I love that color, but honestly this is the only kid that can get Setsuna’s hair color and look good. She already has a lot of green in her pallette so it works. But other than that, my favorite is probably still Azura, and by proxy Beruka. I’ve also seen Camilla!Midori a lot on YT before and I lowkey fw it. Hinoka’s doesn’t look great, nor does Selena’s

Hoshido:

Shiro: Either blonde or brunette. He looks great with the canon Kagero/Mozu color, but Rinkah also suits him. Azura and Felicia look atrocious

Kiragi: It’s Oboro or nothing. He looks fine with Rinkah and MAYBE Hana’s too. I don’t like anything else on him. Orochi and Setsuna are close ENOUGH to be okay with me, but everything else looks so wrong

Asugi: I’m not even gonna lie, I don’t ship Saizo/Sakura anymore but I still think it’s Asugi’s best hair color. It’s that classic Gaius orange we all know and love. And once again, Azura is a swing and a miss. Not a cute color at ALL

Mitama: Once again, Sakura wins for best hair color. But it’s genuinely cruel to do this ship imo so I don’t. Felicia’s is also cute. I hate Setsuna’s on her, it looks like swamp water

Hisame: The only good one is Hana. Second/Third place is Kagero/Mozu, and everything else can get fucked. This kid was BORN to be a brunette and you cannot convince me otherwise

Caeldori: I’ve talked before about Hinoka red and why it’s arguably the best. Sakura’a is also cute. But an underrated one is Rinkah’s tbh. Caledori already kind of has blonde energy, so I think this suits her nicely! It almost reminds me of Rapunzel. And I do not like Azura on her either, but honestly she can surprisingly rock a lot of stuff

Rhajat: Nyx is first, Rinkah’s a close second. Black and white are her colors for sure. Orochi’s is nice too. And Felicia’s is kind of a vibe. But once again, Setsuna is failing to make an impression on me. Also Hinoka’s looks ass

Selkie: Selkie is the only character in the game that looks good with every single color tbh. Except for like, Kagero. I genuinely like them all on her. But obviously I like Sakura as her mom so I have to say that’s my FAVORITE favorite.

Nohr:

Siegbert: CHARLOTTE. Nothing else. The reason why is because Siegbert dresses in the same colors as Xander, so any color that isn’t blonde looks really out of place. Get OUT of here with the Hinoka propaganda 😭 Peri’s is also atrocious, poor kid looks deathly ill/his Private Quarters icon makes him look like he has clown face paint on

Forrest: Honestly? My favorite for him is Effie. Horrid for stats, I know. But here comes Color Theory Slaycation. Forrest’s uniform is a cool toned pink, so a cool toned color is gonna look best for his hair. Hence, why I think Effie’s white-blonde looks really good on him. I have a love-hate relationship with the Nyx. And honestly? I don’t love Felicia’s on him. It’s too much pink all at once for me. Makes it look like his hair is blending into the hat. But he will forever be my little Avatar 21 brunette baby 😭 and I don’t like Sakura’s. The pinks clash.

Soleil: Either Selena or Felicia. Selena because they have the same uniform colors, and Felicia because it’s closest to the canon Olivia color. Don’t care for blue on her. The colors of her outfit read as warm toned to me (there’s like red undertones in the black and white), so any cool color clashes to me. The worst are probably either Azura or Camilla. Azura’s is like fucking green on her and I don’t like it

Ophelia: Elise this and that, I wanna talk about the runner up in my opinion, and that’s Charlotte’s. I know I just complained about Felicia!Forrest blending in too much, but this one actually works. She looks like Goldilocks in the best way. Also probably terrible for stats. Elise does still win tho, in case we were wondering. Oh, and Felicia’s is cute too. I don’t like Nyx’s, too dark on her (same reason I hate Lon’qu!Owain, the canon blonde children typically look really wrong with super dark hair

Nina: PASTELS. Give her pastels. Literally ANY pastel will work. Felicia, Camilla, Beruka, Azura, give Niles the Corrin marriage and give her the pink hair. She literally rocks every single pastel color. Effie’s is closest to canon and I like that. Obvs tho Niles/Camilla is one of my OTPs so ofc she’s gonna be one of my favs. Just keep her AWAY from Peri, Selena, or Charlotte (beware the primary colors)

Percy: Literally only Elise/Charlotte/Effie looks good. Everything else looks shit,

Ignatius: Beruka is the first on earth I ever saw, so it’s the one that looks best to me now. Selena’s is the worst by far. Mozu too.

Velouria: Mozu is EASILY the best one, followed by Nyx. Effie’s is fine, I suppose. I just don’t like the way that the line forms around the streak when the rest of the hair is the same damn color. But Felicia’s looks weird, Charlotte’s looks like she got movie theater butter in her hair, Azura’s feels out of place, and Camilla’s just gives me a full body visceral reaction of just pure rage.

FE characters I wish I could pair but can't

I'm gonna try and stay away from the typical Ryoma/Scarlet and Jakob/Flora. I've mentioned before that I DO really like those pairs, but they've been talked about at large and I wanna talk about my own dream pairs.

Frederick/Emmeryn (Awakening): I literally don't feel like Frederick makes sense with any woman in the Awakening cast. I used to ship him with Cherche but I just don't think it makes sense. And a lot of people ship Lissa/Frederick, and I ship Emmeryn/Frederick for maybe similar reasons. Frederick already has been working for Chrom and his family for ages now, and probably knows them all very well. And Frederick is obviously a little older, about Emm's age. I just think it'd be a really cute pairing, if it weren't for... you know...

Hayato/Elise (Fates): GAH why can't I do this in Rev??? I despise Elise with both Ryoma AND Takumi (I mostly just don't like any of the Hoshido/Nohr pairings with the royals because it doesn't make sense to me). Hayato would be so much better for her. First off, she gets Diviver, that rocks. Tomefaire ftw (Yes you can still do this with a Sakura friendship). But THEN, Rhajat gets the SUPERIOR blonde hair (call me crazy, but aside from Nyx's black, I think Rinkah gives her the best hair color. Might do a hair color post after this lmao). And I just think that the juxtaposition of Elise being Rhajat's mom is really funny

Similar note, Sakura/Benny: Dunno if I really LOVE this, but they've both got some social anxiety/awkwardness that might be really sweet to see in a support.

Leo/Orochi: At LEAST give me up to an A support. I wanna see Leo in his primal form of being submissive as all hell while Orochi just teases him into oblivion (slight nsfw here, but read Leo's dialogue in the Nohrian Festival of Bonds with Anna in his costume. That man absolutely has a praise kink and you cannot prove me otherwise)

Selkie and Ophelia: Just because I do Sakura/Kaden and Elise/Odin and I want their kids to be able to support just like Nina/Caeldori can. Also this would give Ophelia Diviner access (and I saw a Reddit post the other day abt someone wanting to make Selkie a Dark Knight, and this could make that possible lol)

Nina/Asugi: Could be REALLY funny

Slaycation's Conquestcation Episode 4: Idek what to call this it's Invasion 1

Hello, and welcome back to Slaycation’s Conquestcation! Yesterday we took on the Mozu paralogue, and today we’re gonna be getting Invasion 1 out of the way! I PERSONALLY prefer Chapter 11 to both of these maps, but I would rather just get the less fun stuff out of the way, you know?

Anyways, no fun reclass plans this time around (or for a little while, if we’re being honest). So this will mostly just be support! I absolutely need Beruka and Camilla to hit that B support this time around, with how this is looking I think we’ll be getting them to an A rank at Pot Hell. Which is gonna be a shitshow of a chapter but oh well I guess 😭

Alright, so here’s my placement. Um… I didn’t know this chapter was as quick as it is lmao. It’s fine! Just a little worried about how much support I’m gonna actually get 😭 But, I’ve conveniently created acronyms for both of my little teams. Camilla, Beruka, Selena, Niles, and Arthur create CBSNA, aka the North American broadcast of CBS. And on the other side, we have Odin, Elise, Estella, and Azura… Well, this is the perfect time to put my chronically online brainrot head to name this group OEEA. Oh, and Effie’s blocking the throne. That’s a thing that’s happening.

On team CBSNA, we start by having Beruka kill one of the Wyvern Riders with her Selena pair up. Then, Niles kills the one furthest North with his Arthur pair up at 2 range (because he can't not use 2 range lmao). Then, I have Camilla run to the space between both Niles and Beruka and kills one of the paired up Wyverns (REALLY trying to grind her axe rank here but it's so hard when I just need her to do chip damage and the Hand axe just OHKOs (and Camilla kills at this point in the game give her deadass 1 exp) Anyways, we get support between everything we want on this turn!

On Team OEEA, I mainly just make it my goal to separate everyone. Next turn, we have a lot of Cavaliers to kill, and on their own, 2 paired up units won't do the trick. I kept Odin in range of the Jav Cav because in the case it hits, he can help drain some early HP.

On Enemy Phase, the last Wyvern Rider went and attacked the Mess Hall. So, we have Selena move to 2 range and take a hit with an Umbrella I got in MyCastle. Next up, I have Camilla transfer Beruka, switch to her so she can still give Selena some support, and she kills it. Niles and Arthur just move closer to the Mercs currently attacking all my buildings on the bottom right (I later move everybody to the center)

On team OEEA, one of the Cavs luckily did attack Odin! We have Odin, Elise, and Estella attack/kill the cavs together, while Azura sings for Elise at one point to continue helping her get support points. There will be a single other Cav that CAN attack Azura, but the fact that I'm writing this now is proof that it didn't kill her 😭

This is the point now where everybody on the right just starts moving in. Not much else to it. I'm skipping to the end where everybody takes down the last 3 enemies (this level is boring as shit ngl)

However, on OEEA's side, I gave Elise and Odin one more chance to gain support points via unequipping their weapons, which I later learned doesn't factor for shit when it comes to support development.

I honestly don't even remember what I did here, but it looks like I grabbed some extra support points!

Here, I attampted to give Niles and Camilla MAYBE some more points together too. I mostly just didn't wanna move Niles out of whack. He was VERY close to dying here but he did survive. Moral of the story don't do what I do lmao

So, it's not mentioned here, but I let Selena kill the boss! With that, she promoted to Level 12! I did have a failsafe here if Niles did miss, and that was that Effie was right in the outskirts and could kill this final Mercenary. But Niles got the job done just fine!

Well, now that we're done, let's check our supports!

NOW THAT'S WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT!!! We literally got every support we wanted here. Camilla/Beruka, Camilla/Niles, Elise/Odin, AND Estella/Elise have their A support out of the way! This makes recruiting Forrest SO much easier, seriously! Even if just for vanity, Demoiselle/Gentilehomme combo is so cool to see a unit have, especially Forrest!!! I'm actually surprised that Elise/Odin and Camilla/Niles got their supports in here! Elise and Odin are at an A support, believe it or not. This is the fastest I've ever gotten their support up 😭 same with Camilla/Niles! And for Beruka, she only needs one more chapter with Selena and 2 more with Camilla to get all of her supports done! Yay!!! Now, one might ask - why would I waste the Heart Seal on Beruka if I'm just not gonna use her after this anyway? Well, I don't know! Maybe it works as a good backpack for Camilla, I've never done it before, and I have nothing else to do! Idk maybe I'll let her stay on the team for a LITTLE longer. I'm lowkey a dumbass, maybe? But honestly I don't care lmao

Anyways, that was it! A boring one, I know! I had a busy day today, so at least this was easy! (At least my hair looks nice). Thanks for reading!! I'm finally doing actual chapters again after this!!!

My Favorite Awakening Pairings

Screw it, I have a hair appointment in like 30 minutes but I'm drafting this up anyway. I'm adding to the blog today or tomorrow!

Chrom/Sumia: I don't care that this pairing is hated by like half the community, I love these 2 😭 it's a nice echo to Marth/Caeda, and Lucina and Cynthia make great sisters

Lissa/Vaike: I did it for blonde Owain. I actually did most of these for hair color. But I actually think that Vaike makes a lot of sense personality-wise as Owain's dad. They're both just super over the top. Also, one of Odin's dual strike victory lines is "you uh... passed your test!" GUESS WHO TYPICALLY HANDS OUT TESTS? TEACHERS. AND GUESS WHAT VAIKE IS? TEACH!

Sully/Kellam or Sully/Stahl: Sully/Kellam because it feels really perfect for Kjelle, canon hair color and Knight class. Sully/Stahl for the Christmas Cav marriage and custom ending. Sully/Kellam's ending is so perfect though, since Sully talks about being worried a man will someday surpass her in the Stahl A support.

Maribelle/Libra: Okay, on an unserious note, Maribelle is absolutely in love with Lissa, and Libra is the next best thing (blonde cleric that looks like a woman). In all seriousness though, it makes sense for Brady (class similarities) and Maribelle becomes Elle Woods, so win-win-win

Ricken/Miriel: Hate it, never do it, but if I had to, I hate them both anyway so it would be pair-the-spares (also in the Laurent/Nah support she accuses him of being a pedo so if his mom is too it makes them even more similar 💀)

Cordelia/Gregor: Severa gets her red hair, and it makes sense for her to follow in her dad's footsteps instead of her mom's! Also Severa being a daddy's girl to Gregor is hilarious. Also the Cordelia/Gregor S support is the cutest thing in this whole world (the whole chain is honestly)

Virion/Olivia: Virion calls himself a "man of passion" in the C support, Olivia falls for his charms before the S support, what else explain's Inigo's fake accent and love for charming women??? (Yes I know Olivia taught him that from Maribelle, but he could also still be inspired by his father). They're perfect!

Cherche/Lon'qu: Don't love Lonq but it gives him some backstory and makes perfect sense for Gerome.

Tharja/Gaius: They look cute together, are both enemies you have to talk to to recruit, and ginger Noire is adorable

Nowi/Henry: If I were playing as F!Robin, I would marry Henry myself. But I do this because there are no romantic undertones to it, it feels more like friends making a deal more than anything

My Favorite Pairings In Fates

This isn't an addition to my blog, but I just really love all of the pairings I do in Fates and I wanted to share them!

Path Neutral pairings:

F!Corrin/Jakob: If I didn't marry my Corrin to Leo all the time (which will never happen), I would marry her to Jakob. I just feel like they have a lot of screen time together in the early game, and it's one of the cuter Corrin romantic support chains. I actually don't really love the Leo/Corrin chain all that much, but I do it anyway because I'm down bad.

Azura/Kaze: I don't care that the stats are dogshit I'm doing it anyway 😭 I just really like the idea of Azura as Midori's mother. She has an affinity for medicine, as shown in Conquest Chapter 12, and the Kaze/Azura support line is literally about her sending medicine to her sick nana. It's so cute. Also, Kaze works really well as Shigure's father. They've both got that calm and collected aura about them. He just gives me "father of 2" energy.

Silas/Mozu: Honest to god, I do this because it's quick and easy, but I actually really love the hair color it gives Sophie. And that's all I do with it.

Hoshido pairings:

Ryoma/Rinkah: Because IS said fuck you to Scarlet. Jokes aside, I feel like these 2 look really cute together, they have similar designs, and I love the idea of Rinkah being the queen of Hoshido. And blonde Shiro reminds me of a frat boy, which I think is hilarious

Hinoka/Subaki: I actually really hate Subaki as a character, I find him really annoying, but I really love the idea of Hinoka being Caeldori's mother. Not only does it give Caeldori her canon red hair, but the supports line up really well, and her and Hinoka will have matching Falcon Knight uniforms!! Caeldori is kind of the only kid I can really see Hinoka having 😭

Sakura/Kaden: I actually had trouble for a long time figuring out who I wanted to ship Sakura with. Nothing ever made sense for her. I used to ship her with Saizo for redhead Asugi, but I just felt like it didn't make sense for her not to have a daughter. But I feel like Selkie is just a perfect child for her! Sakura and Kaden's support revolves around the 2 of them becoming napping buddies, and in the 4Koma, Sakura and Selkie have a panel where they nap together! I know she's not an ideal mother for her, but I don't really care lmao

Saizo/Kagero: I don't WANT to because I'm a child of divorce 😭 but I'm also not shipping Saizo with fucking Setsuna so we're going with this

Azama/Orochi: Once again, I hate Azama with a burning passion, but Orochi has my favorite hair color in the whole game, and this was the only Azama support that didn't have abusive undertones to me and didn't give Mitama the worst hair color of all time, so I went with this

Hinata/Hana: Both Samurai, gives Hisame his canon brown hair, cute support. What more can I say? (he was a punk, she did ballet)

Hayato/Nyx: I hate the age gap so much, and in a typical playthrough I wouldn't do it, but if Hayato wasn't Rhajat's canon dad but Nyx was Rhajat's canon mother, I'd put her with somebody else because it just makes too much sense. I do have somebody else that I like her with tho that I will mention later

I leave Setsuna single because I don't like her lmao (there's a reason I choose Conquest, half of the BR cast is just boring to me)

Nohr pairings:

Xander/Charlotte: I will make a case for just getting Sol from Laslow. I do think that if you wanna put him with somebody else, that is available to you. And I've talked about a similar situation before with doing the SUPERIOR Beruka/Camilla for Camilla Fighter access instead of giving her the overrated Keaton marriage. The difference is that for some bullshit reason, Xander and Laslow do not have a fast support. So, for me, it's like, why not just give him Heartseeker from a fast Leo friendship and give him the Charlotte marriage? I do really love the supports though and I love the idea of Queen Charlotte!!!

Camilla/Niles: This is one of my favorite ships in this entire game. It's a really unique support line, they're both very similar characters, and lavender Nina is the greatest thing in this world. The Nina support with her mother kind of makes the most sense with Camilla, because ONLY she is so desensitized to just not care at all about Nina's obsession with yaoi, but she is also the only one who is so obsessed with Corrin that she would give her yaoi to the army. I also love that the S support doesn't end with a grand proposal or anything, I like that it's just the blossoming buds of a relationship, because it makes the whole support feel like a natural progression, and it never feels in character for Niles to do a big 'ol proposal like in his supports with Felicia. Overall, love these 2

Leo/Nyx: I told you Nyx would be back! If Nyx gave him Wyvern access, this would be the greatest pairing of all time. I absolutely love the supports between these 2, I feel like they just already like each other from the start, and the S support just makes me absolutely melt (with the exception of one line, iykyk). I have a love-hate relationship with the hair color it gives Forrest, but it is very gothic lolita, which I find to be really cute. Adventurer Nyx is also a great backpack for Leo, fwiw)

Elise/Odin: I shipped this BEFORE I knew it made a broken Ophelia. I just feel like a lot of characters are really cruel to Odin for absolutely no reason (see: Corrin), and this was the only support that felt like the both of them really got along well.

Laslow/Selena: OTP. LITERALLY THE OTP. I can't express in words how much I love these 2 together. I actually have a headcanon, since I also pair them together in Awakening, that they were together through the events of that game but broke up midway through because they were young and dumb. And after they've grown up a little more in Nohr, they rekindle their old flames. It makes their Fates A support feel a lot sweeter, I'll tell you that. I love that they have history together, even just as friends saving 2 different worlds, and they have a really fun dynamic of being an incorrigible flirt and a tsundere. I love that she calls him out on his shit in the B support, and it genuinely has a lasting effect on him, I love that by the S support, they're both kind of dodging each other's feelings a little bit, I just love these 2 with all my heart. Also, Selena and Soleil have names that mean Moon and Sun, which I can't NOT pass up, and they also have matching outfits if you do this pairing!! I also ship Virion and Olivia, and there's a line in Virion's support with Frederick where he mentions a "symbol of everlasting friendship", which is also what Laslow initially calls the bracelet he proposes to Selena with. I could keep going but I'll move on now lmao

Peri/Keaton: Unpopular opinion incoming. This is Peri's best support. Because it doesn't unnaturally throw Peri into just going "okay sure I'll stop killing". Keaton goes "hey, maybe be a little choosier but you CAN go hunting with me". Which feels like a natural way to wean her off of killing. I also love Peri and Velouria's supports, she's the only one that specifically mentions the flower she hopes she smells like, and of course Ms. I Love Trash Velouria would love the smell of the corpse flower. Also, Peri, who loves to cook, marries Keaton, who loves to hunt. So I headcanon that they go on hunting trips together and then Peri cooks all of the food they got and they have little feasts!

Beruka/Benny: Two introverts meet. Just what I like to see as a fellow introvert myself. This is one of the sweetest supports I have ever seen. Not much else to add there, I just think they make a lot of sense together

Effie/Arthur: I did it for the fast Percy paralogue

And that's all!! I hope somebody agrees with at least a few of these 😭 the shipping is one of my favorite parts of Awakening and Fates, so I love to talk about what pairings I like! If anybody's interested, I might do an Awakening one too! Don't play it as much, but I've got some diehard ships I'm willing to drown on (I mentioned one in this list)!
