As someone with an undiagnosed disability (99% sure its fibromyalgia) that I've had since I was a little kid, I've never understood why adults feel the need to enter the Pain Olympics whenever a kid says they're in pain.

I cannot tell you how many times an adult told me over the years that "you're too young to be in that kind of pain" or the classic "wait until you're my age", insinuating that I was a little bitch who could never grasp what true pain really is.

Just yesterday I was in class and a guy near me mentioned that his back hurt, which our teacher heard and said "you're too young, just wait until your 50s, then it'll really hurt", and I hear this guy very quietly say that he has scoliosis.

It's so annoying. Why do you need to win the Pain Olympics? Why do you need to prove to a child that your life is harder than theirs? This is the reason I didn't know I had chronic pain until I was 16

I had a dream that they were making a Darth Vader show (sigh) and brought Natalie Portman BEFORE even having a script so Natalie suggested that it should be something like Wuthering Heights and the guys at Lucasfilm were oh that's brilliant thanks Natalie

Then they like start the show and they start retconing everything to have Padmé actually survive and she was just hidden and trapped by Vader and Padme had gone mad while they had Vader falling in love with a green twi'lek that used to be lowkey a slave that was trying to fix him (?????????) and Natalie was like "wait what are we doing"

And Filoni was like "what are you talking about this all was your idea, duh, the book with the Hidden wife that starts a fire"

And Natalie was like "that's the wrong fucking book you idiots"

Jumping between Dimension 20 and Game Changer is great fun, because you see the contrast of Brennan Lee Mulligan completely in control of a situation, and then in absolutely no control and having a bad time with it

Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis was an early stegosaur that lived during the mid-Jurassic, about 166 million years ago, in what is now southwestern China.

Around 4.5m long (~14'9"), it had relatively small back plates and a pair of enormous shoulder spikes. It's unclear exactly how the shoulder spines were positioned in life, but based on how they were found articulated in a fairly complete skeleton they seem to have swept sideways and backwards, protecting Gigantspinosaurus' flanks.

Skin impressions show a mosaic of polygonal scales with scattered "rosettes" made up of larger scales surrounded by a ring of smaller scales, with a rough ridged surface texture that may have reduced light glare – suggesting an overall more matte appearance rather than glossy.

The thigh bones of one specimen are pathological, showing evidence that these dinosaurs sometimes suffered from bone tumors.
