"Alright, I can respect that," he grasped her hand firmly— not hard— and shook it. "We probably could've made something to knock it off the tree, but you climbed up there so fast. There was no stopping you, was there?" He teased. "Well, at least we have food and drinks for now." He pointed at the base of the tree, where he had begun gathering the coconuts she knocked loose. "Not all ripe, but definitely better than nothing."

"i'm not really a high five woman." lorraine stated, wiping the sweat from her brow as she looked at william. climbing for coconuts in the sweltering heat was not something lorraine ever envisioned doing — at least, not without some sort of leadership guiding her along. she was exhausted — they all were — and such platitudes had an oddly motivating effect. lorraine extended her hand, dropping her items to her side. "how about a handshake?"

"Okay, well, breathe." William took a deep breath in, "Big one through your mouth," he encouraged, "and slowly let it out through your nose....and repeat." He took the coconut from her hands and wedged it between two large rocks. Will pulled the pocket knife he had found weeks earlier and stabbed the top a few times until the tip of the husk caved in. Will handed her the coconut. She had earned first sips for doing the hard part. "Is it your first time climbing so high?"

☆ﾟ*·ﾟher breath stopped for a moment as she looked up at the tree she'd just scaled to get a coconut. turning to face william, she tried her best to hold back the tears in her eyes. arden high fived him and whimpered softly. "i can't believe i did either! it's so high and i just... oh my goodness. i can't breathe." arden held the coconut in her hands, trying her best not to panic too much.

William stared at the bird in disbelief. Its wing was bandaged. "I for sure thought it'd attack you. But you did good. How do you think it got hurt?"

They obliged with the high five, "You know, I still have no idea how I managed that." she laughed, "Guess I'm a better nurse than I thought."

William's start of the day had been long and slow. It was difficult to focus on anything other than his very loud stomach grumbles. He ventured off into the island and came across a small herd of baby boars. Had they been abandoned? They seemed so cute and it seemed innocent enough to pet them. Will bent down. 'How awful would it be if—' He didn't even get a chance to finish his thought when he spotted the much bigger and very angry mother boar. She didn't think twice before charging at him.

He ran, he ran fast, and then he ran some more. He wasn't sure where he was running to, but he spotted Nihar and assumed safety must be close by. He yelled, "RUN!" as ran in their direction. He looked back towards them, they seemed unphased. Was he not being chased anymore? "Oh," he stopped to catch his breath. "I must've lost her. Maybe you scared her off." He sighed.

Snap. Nihar kept walking, visibly unaffected by the noise. Their mind, however, was yelling at them. No sudden movements. Stay casual. Pulling the sharpened pin from their hair, they shook their dark loose, holding the weapon tight as the footsteps came closer.

—Guillermo Gutierrez’s birth parents were madly in love, but sadly they were not meant to be together. Guillermo’s birth mother was a well known as a singer in Puerto Rico. His mother had an affair with someone she worked with closely—exactly who this was has always been a mystery. Guillermo was born in secret and put up for adoption. He never knew either of his birth parents. He was adopted by two young Californians and would go on to have a have a very spoiled and happy childhood. —He showed promise of a bright future. And because of his upbringing and roots, Guillermo would attend some of the best schools in California. He took a special interest in learning how to build things and take them apart to learn how they function. While at school, he also nurtured his love for singing. Aside from English, he’s fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. —It was at the ripe age of 20 when things would start to spiral downwards for him. It wasn't noticeable at first. His first drinking binge in college was quick and harmless to everyone but him. The binges gradually increased— shockingly enough, they never affected his work. It was almost as if his best work came out when he was drunk. He became dependent on booze and when graduation came, it became apparent to everyone that something needed to be done. —His birth parents staged an intervention and signed him into a rehab facility to detox. Will would attempt to break out a few times, but fail each time. He stayed the mandatory month to get clean and then started attending his AA meetings outside. His family was really supportive. And for a time, it seemed like things were looking brighter. —That is until he boarded a plane from SFO to SYD on New Years' Eve....& it crash landed onto a mysterious island.
